President Donald Trump’s family ignored coronavirus guidelines on Tuesday night at the presidential debate, forgoing masks as they sat in the audience.
Most of Trump’s children ― Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump ― sat in a row sans masks despite doctors at the nearby Cleveland Clinic advising that guests do so to prevent the spread of the virus.

Pence has spent a lot of time around Trump, though I don’t know about lately. Even if Pence doesn’t have it, he and Speaker Pelosi need to isolate themselves. Also, Kamala Harris might have to step in as the Democratic Presidential nominee, and Pence, if he’s healthy, might need to do the same for the GOP.
A report last night said that VP Pence has traveled this week, but met with the President Tuesday morning. The President could well have been contagious at that time.
Fortunately, even if both were to become too ill to carry out their functions, Speaker Pelosi could handle it. I just hope she has not been exposed to any carriers. I note that she has been diligent about wearing masks, thank goodness.
