Two En Vogue posts, and still no “Free Your Mind”? I know the song is somewhat topical, but man it rocks, no?
Love the “Scrubs” tribute to Left Eye last night. I miss her more every year. She was a poet for sure, just people paid more attention to her moves, and setting the odd house on fire.. The “Hot” track she recorded towards the end is just brilliant.
The thing about Naomi Wolfe is that she would find all this attention flattering and downright flirtateous.

Three Wickets — I dedicated No Scrubs to PEBO & the Obots –’cause that’s what I think they are — scrubs. But I do love TLC. Also, What a Man is technically a Salt-n-Pepa song (with En Vogue) not an En Vogue song. (I love Salt-n-Pepa too, just ask my chihuahua, Pepa).

My best tribute song for BO is probably early Radiohead’s “Creep”. “I’m a Creep. I’m a Weirdo. What the hell am I doing here. I don’t belong here.” And a catchy melody too.
