Walk to work music: Scorcher

It’s that day again. Time to visit the “office”. I don’t actually have an office to myself. I work in a communal space and I grab a bench space with a monitor and keyboard set up. I can pick any seat I want but I usually go for one by the window because I love me some natural light and I can look out at the rivers.

I’m still running. I think I can run a 5K now. The air around Pittsburgh has “texture” these days so I’m sticking to a well ventilated gym with my favorite treadmill under the fan for now. My problem area is my arms. Must banish the flub and acquire some tricep and bicep definition. I refuse to give in.

Speaking of favorites, I’m able to wriggle into one of my favorite summer dresses and it’s not tight anymore. {{happy dance}}. It’s a mid length denim dress by Ralph Lauren that I bought on sale about 20 years ago. THIS is why it’s so important for me to run my ass off. You may never have the income to buy nice stuff again. I love this dress. It’s got a flared hem and it swishes around my calves when I walk. It never goes out the of style and makes me feel about 19. I feel Mahvelous! Let’s go kill those PowerPoint decks!!

It’s going to be hot today.

Here’s my stop.
