Fred is obviously an Obot.

What are you doing this morning?

    • I had some little teenybopper cashier apologize for not carding me(the sign says they will if you look under 40). I told her, “Meh, I AM over 40, and quite grateful for the fact considering the alternative.”

      • I’m so glad I’m off the market (by choice and chance), it just all looks likes so much work. Glad I didn’t have to start obsessing about it at 18.

    • Fred can’t really be an Obot — too adorable looking!

      djmm

  2. I,m wondering why you’re up at the crack of dawn. Also trying to keep up with a crazed Schnauzer who misses his mom terribly.

  3. Continuing with the funny:

  4. Found a way to curb my appetite today on MSN. Picture of a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting and topped with crumbled bacon. Gag, all they need to do is deep fry to make it worse.

  5. I just added a SUBSCRIBE To Posts link in the right sidebar. It’s Right above the LEDE RSS feed. The Headline is Email Subscription.

I didn’t know what would happen – I thought maybe I’d just get a note that a new post was up. But, it seems to be the whole thing.

We may not keep it but, I’d like to hear back – try it out and let me (or all of us) know if you like it.

    Thanks!

LOL! G’moring Fred, and Conflucians 🙂

    Obama’s swelling ego

Was there ever a president as deeply enamored of himself as Barack Obama?

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,’’ he told campaign aides when he was running for the White House. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that . . . I’m a better political director than my political director.’’

At this rate, it won’t be long before the president’s ego is so inflated that it will require a ZIP code of its own.

Then again, how modest would any of us be if we were as magnificent as Obama? “I am well aware,’’ he told the UN General Assembly in September, “of the expectations that accompany my presidency around the world.’’

  7. oops…Spammy caught me.

  8. Don’t forget Glenn Close as VP in Air Force One!

For my birthday Thursday, the daughter gave me a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Oh, how well she knows me.

  9. Am I in moderation?

  10. Can you delete it, myiq?

  11. Pne comment about Fred the cat in your post: if he were a real B0bot, his greatest wish would have been not so much for a hamburger in his bowl as for the neighbor’s cat Sheeba to die. Of hunger.

  12. First of all… no self respecting cat wants a goddam cheeseburger. A can of tuna, maybe. Some fresh chicken…. but not a cheeseburger.

If Fred did get a cheeseburger, and was stupid enough to eat it…. it may well kill him.

…… Oh yeah….. that is like the Obots. Isn’t it???

  13. Glenzilla:

“We’re too scared to have real trials in our country” is a level of cowardice unmatched in the world.

I am so tired of this egotist . The first Pacific president?
Nixon and Reagan were from California. I think that has a view of the Pacific ocean that is quite large.
People are being paid to write speeches, it is a shame that they are so overpaid and undereducated.
