The Jews conduct a crafty battle against OccupyWallStreet

Just like Joshua and his rag tag band of travel weary Israelites, they took on OccupyWallStreet.  Their weapons were a handful of palm fronds and their clever disguises.  Like cats stalking their prey, they snuck up on the unsuspecting, shoving their palm fronds in faces and conducting a mic check prayer in Hebrew.

They were bold and unafraid.

But the walls of Zuccotti park did not come tumbling down, er, because the occupiers seemed to be totally cool with it?

Anti-semitism?  Hardly.  It’s difficult to imagine people more Jewish than Hasidic Jews.  But this is part of the smear campaign against the Occupiers.  This one seems really silly but suggests that some Fox News types are starting to ever so slightly sympathize with the plight of the 99%.  It would be hard *not* to sympathize with them, but we know that some Glenn Beck afficianados have hearts that are even more microscopic than the Grinch’s.  Nevertheless, the message of economic injustice must be penetrating even unto them.

But Fox News knows that there is nothing that will snap its viewers back than a cold splash of anti-semitism because the evangelical Christians have some bizarre narrative about how the Jews in Israel must be converted to Christianity before the Rapture will come.  (As if that’s not anti-semitic)  And what better way to demonstrate that the occupiers hate Israel than sending a few skinheads to the park, right?  They can’t possibly have shown up on their own.  The occupiers aren’t really into irrational hatred.  But Fox News knows how to excite an audience.  Hire a few.  They don’t have to be ignorant anti-semitic bigots.  They just need to play one on TV.  Tell them to hang out by the information table.  Better yet, send some really bizarre types with tattooed faces.  Make them look menacing.  Oh and while you’re at it, make little old ladies in NY City feel like the protestors are taking away the cops who keep them from being mugged on the street and killed in their beds.

How do I know conservative operatives are paying weirdos to show up at Occupy events?  I don’t but I would if I were trying to discredit my enemy.  The occupy events are open to the public, any public.  You can walk right in there and set up shop and say whatever offensive thing you want even if it had nothing to do with economic injustice or the 99%.  Are you kidding me?  It’s the perfect rat-f%^&ing opportunity.  I’d like to see them deny it.  Over and over and over again.

By the way, are the cops getting overtime for holding the rabid Nazi occupiers at bay?  Because Christmas is coming up…

Well, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the knives came out to murder this movement in its infancy.  We can’t have people banding together to fight off the bondage to a powerful oligarchy.  That would be too biblical.

And the last thing we need is something like this:

  1. I wonder how many of the antisemites who have been caught on videos “at” the various OWSer gatherings are in fact ratfuckers or undercover government provocateurs. I am predisposed to think that they are, or at least may be. Cointelpro 2.0, if you please.

Can anyone show me that every single one of them is for real? Can anyone show me that not one of them is a secret undercover governarc or ratfucker?

    • It’s a nasty tactic. Have your camera ready. Have your ‘antisemite’ show up and start ranting. If OWS people try to stop him, edit out the rant and show ‘rowdy behavior at OWS’. If the OWS remain peaceful, show the rant and say ‘antisemitism accepted at OWS.’

    • I’m inclined to believe they are ratfuckers. This isn’t that to figure out. Think like your enemy. What would YOU do if you were Karl Rove or Fox News?
I propose thar the blogosphere and honest news media look into it. I’m sure there’s a story there. I’ll believe they are doing it until proven otherwise.

  2. The latest New York Times/CBS News poll finds the approval rate for Congress at just 9%, with 84% disapproving.

Meanwhile, President Obama’s approval rating is at 46% and “appears to be elevated by positions he has taken on foreign affairs.”
    (…)
In February, a CBS News poll found that 27 percent of the public said the views of the Tea Party movement reflect the sentiment of most Americans. In the current poll, 46 percent of the public said the same of the Occupy Wall Street movement. “They do reflect the discontent of most Americans,” said Sheila Shriver, 69, a retired special education teacher and independent voter from Columbus, Ohio. “People are unhappy with the way the country seems to be moving, especially when it comes to lack of jobs. Washington hasn’t even been concerned about that.”

A 9% rating on a yes/no question is probably just noise. I would bet that virtually no one approves of Congress.

    • Soooo, we all agree that Congress has to go, on both sides. But the only reason Obama isn’t completely in the basement is because of the work that Hillary did.
Sort of like some dude taking credit for some woman’s work again.
      Am I reading that right??

      • That would be my interpretation. So I think you’re reading it right 🙂

      • You are 100% correct.

        • I will offer a possible secondary reason as to why Obama’s ratings are not entirely above the basement here in Southern Michigan and Northern Ohio specifically. And that would be some lingering legacy gratitude for his forced-march banruptcy-restructuring of GM and Chrysler so that the potentially re-profitable shreds of those companies were not liquidated and numerous jobs were not lost.

What is strange is that so many Great Lakestanis have forgotten about how the Senators from the “right to work” states with foreign car company transplant factories in them uniformly conspired to try preventing this resuce from going ahead. The “transplant car state” Senators conspired and connived deliberately on purpose to exterminate GM and Chrysler and burn them all the way down to the grouhd in order to exterminate the UAW and to exterminate as much other thingmaking throughout the Midwest as possible. And many of the targets of this mass jobicide conspiracy vote Republican today. Amazing….

Aside from saving the core shreds of GM and Chrysler, I think the other best thing Obama has done for the future is to discredit the whole idea of “bipartisanship”. He may also have set in motion a chain of process leading to the extermination of the Democratic Party.
Since the Democratic Party is a Wall Street Hamilton Project Rubinite
DLC Third Way entity anyway, its political extermination is greatly to be desired. Perhaps then a legitimate political party can be built on
the space vacated by the Democratic Party which currently usurps that space now. If it plays out that way over the next 20 years, we will have to thank Obama for that as well, even though he may not be “happy” about being thanked for that. Time will tell. Hopefully time will tell us what we want to hear.

  3. The ability of nuts to wander into any OWSersite, and the ability of ratfuckers, governarcs, and provocateurs to infiltrate these places; is a real problem which other commenters on other threads are beginning to view with concern. Here is a cutpasted comment from a Global Guerillas thread on the subject.

Both movements have their fair share of members who are frankly embarrassments to their causes. For the Tea Party it’s religious righties, and for the OWS it’s anarchist kiddies.

I would just as soon that both movements could find a way to keep their respective flavors of nuts out of the mix. Even right here we have a posting by someone who has gone down the proverbial rabbit hole, secret Moon bases included.

At some point we all have to draw the line and say, for example, “that’s crazy shit, that does not belong here.” Weeding out wackos will end up a net gain to both movements by encouraging more people to sign up who are level-headed and can stay focused on the important issues.

Bottom line is that the populist giant is just starting to awaken. If both movements can take a “live and let live” attitude about cultural issues, they will find much in common, and the powers that be will either have to get with the program or get the hell out of the way.

    • Sounds right. I read a post about OccupyLA at JohnWSmart’s place where the stoner contingent was so large it was hard to get though to find anyone for a real conversation. I can believe that of LA.

  4. That little subthread goes on productively . . . .

g48, agreed with ‘live and let live’ (and much of the rest of what you’ve written) but who’s to say who or what is ‘wacko? one person’s weed is another’s nutrition.

this may be the essential question which, if answered correctly, might be the catalyst to kick these into a higher gear.

(We know each other from somewhere else too; I’ll say Hi similarly there:-)

Re. one person’s weed is another’s food:

What’s important to keep in mind is that the purpose of a *protest* is not to “express” your *self.* Members of the general public could care less about *self*-expression by people they don’t know.

The point is to motivate the public to join our cause. It’s to bug our elected officials to take action.

It’s occasionally to force an inherent evil such as segregation into a court room. But park closing hours are not one of those inherent evils that are begging to be forced into a court room.

The motivated public translates to votes. Elected officials know this and are sensitive to the PR issues involved.

As for “who’s to say what’s wacko?”, the answer as always is, the voters you’re trying to reach. If what they see looks like a rag-tag homeless encampment, they will stay away and they won’t support it. If what they see looks like themselves: working people who have to make ends meet, support families, juggle student loans or mortgages or whatever, they will join in. The more the merrier: and beyond a certain point it starts to look like enough people to swing an election.

  5. Finally, someone on a thread I can’t find now said that if the OWSers can’t find a way to exclude or round-up and expel the “look at me!” antisemites and the cop car defecators and so forth, then the OWS sites will turn into PPZ sites. PPZ standing for Psychiatric Petting Zoo.

  6. OWS Bank Transfer day is coming up Nov 5, 2011. I notice that local credit unions have extended hours for that day. I hope a lot of money moves out of the TBTF.

    • You’ve heard of a “run on the banks”? Perhaps this should be called a March On The Megabanks.

Quiet masses of Normal POPs (Pissed Off People) quietly marching into the Black Hat Megabanks and marching their money right out the door.

Not from fear, but for revenge.

  7. o.t. but.
Happy 64th Birthday to Sec. of State Hillary Rodham Clinton! (The S.O.S. who should be President!! 🙂

  8. Look at this cover a few days ago. Especially, look at the sign to the left of the big one
