A message to MAGA: we live here and we’re NOT leaving.

Here’s a good thread about what MAGA has planned for Trump’s imminent arrest:

As soon (or even before) Trump is taken into custody, there will be delusional, destructive and Dangerous MAGA faithful who will tell the rest of us that if we don’t get onboard to protect Trump from justice, then we should leave the country. I have had this yelled in my face from people I never expected to hear it from. For some reason, it is maniacally important to allow Trump to commit crimes without any consequence or accountability.

I don’t care what kind of bullshit you’ve talked yourself into on Trump’s account or what kind of trance state that’s been induced by an aggrieved white male whisperer like Steve Bannon or Hugh Hewitt or Sebastian Gorka, you still need to live with the rest of us law abiding, rules playing Americans. Enough with the aggressive threats and plans to physically guard a man who deserves no one’s respect. If you really want him for president in 2024, then go ahead and get him elected in the time honored way we have done it since 1788 until Trump decided to use his thugs to overthrow the election on January 6, 2021.

Like I pointed out before, there’s nothing in the Constitution stopping a indicted and convicted criminal from being president and you would know that if you ever bothered to read the document you claim to care so much about. We don’t have a monarch. We aren’t set up for a dictator. And we sure as hell don’t need a crime family boss occupying the prison Oval Office. But if that’s what YOU want, then go ahead and get him elected so at least it looks legitimate and not like some Victor Orban or Vladimir Putin idea of a presidential election.

Meanwhile, we’ve got people getting arrested everyday for petty shit. I don’t see MAGA going to their rescue. No. They’re there for a bloated, imbecilic, pathologically deceitful orange colored half human orc with the soul of a shark. And you might actually prefer that. But the rest of us, who outnumber you, are going to hold him accountable for the wreckage he’s perpetrated on our American institutions and there’s nothing you can do to stop us. We aren’t leaving. Get used to it.
