There was absolutely no good reason why fear of the mRNA vaccine prevented so many women from getting vaccinated.

Education could have prevented this. What we needed were some good NOVA like specials on every TV channel and social media platform to ratchet down the misinformation and histrionics. Leave it to TFG’s administration to do just the opposite.

By the way, having a college degree is not enough protection against misinformation and fear mongering. It’s YOUR body. You have a right to know the truth and obligation to find it out if you aren’t sure. That goes for anyone who didn’t take the pandemic seriously. There are an estimated 4 million people who have long Covid

It’s inexcusable that there was a 40% rise in maternal deaths and many cases of long Covid during the pandemic when a basic overview of how the mRNA vaccine actually works could have cleared up the fear, uncertainty and dread.

Unacceptable.
