Eric Boelert 1965-2022

I saw this on Twitter. Eric Boelert, who has worked hard in the past couple of decades to challenge the press to do better, has died after a biking accident.

Eric did a little profile on The Confluence back in 2008 for his book The Bloggers on the Bus. I never met him but we exchanged emails for the book and I was happy to see that we were treated fairly about all that we wrote during the 2008 primary season.

I will be very sorry to see him go. He was one of my favorite accounts to follow on Twitter.
