Everybody Calm Your T*ts

As Trump continues his farewell tour, you may have seen pictures like this:

Western Pennsylvania awash in a sea of Trump nuggets. It’s enough to give you a panic attack.

Ok, I’m not going to lie. There are a lot of these wingers in western PA. But the population of Butler county is something like 187,000 people. That picture right there looks like half of them who literally have nothing else to do in Butler county on Halloween except go to a Trump rally.

But that picture would be misleading. Take a look at the map below:

Butler county is sitting on top of Allegheny county. Allegheny has 10x the population of Butler. Butler county’s biggest city has 13,000 people in it.

So what accounts for the yuge crowd optics in the pic above? Well, like any real estate agent knows, it’s all about location, location, location.

Butler is perfectly situated between Erie, PA to the north, Ohio to the west, West Virginia to the south, and cow pastures to the east. Butler is like the great sewer drain of the tri-State area.

Do you think for one minute Trump is going to bother to have a rally in West Virginia where he promised all the coal we could eat? Fuck no. He’s also not going to be bothered with anything in Ohio. There’s nothing there but farmland. But BUTLER is at the center of it all. It’s within easy driving distance of all three states and can empty out lots and lots of rural Trump counties.

Instead of freaking out, we should see it as the last time these mobile disease vectors will have the chance to see his Trumpiness before the fat lady sings. They can pick up their souvenir t-shirts and put their tickets in a scrap book.

Yes, there are a lot of them. But there isn’t enough of them.
