Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Life Goes On

Hey, did you know that October is breast cancer awareness month? I know, I know, it seems to come earlier every year.

You could be excused for forgetting this year, what with 40% of our population running around without masks and claiming that Covid is going to go away on 11/4 and elections driving everyone crazy and the “President” acting like the biggest asshole troll in the world.

But believe it or not, there are still many thousands of people living with breast cancer and there is some GOOD news this October on that front.

There is now another treatment for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. That’s a particularly difficult form to treat. It can be exceptionally responsive to traditional chemotherapy but up until now, there weren’t many drug therapies that could treat a recurrence.

Now, there is.

October is almost over and we have something to celebrate. Thank goodness.
