If you still have your mail in ballot and you haven’t mailed it in yet, don’t.
You’ve probably run out of time to get it in by 11/3 due to the sabotage of the USPS.
That doesn’t mean you can’t get your vote counted but if you want your mail in ballot to count, your best bet is to take it to your board of elections today. That’s right, hand deliver it. Today is the last day to request a ballot and I think you may not have another early voting opportunity after 10/27. Hurry hurry.
If you haven’t received your mail in ballot yet, contact your Board of Elections now. If it shows up between now and Election Day, take it with you to your polling place and hand it over to the poll worker. Your ballot will be destroyed and you can vote on a machine.
If it never comes, go to your polling place, report it missing, if you haven’t already called your Board of Elections, and vote by provisional ballot.
In other words, if you haven’t mailed it in, it’s not the end of the world. You can still vote. But have a Plan B.
And if you must vote in person, wear your mask, bring your pocket sized Lysol spray and disinfectant wipes, and keep your head down.
There may be Poll watchers but I’m betting that both sides will be represented.

I have read today that PA is lagging in votes coming in, as compared to other key states. i hope that your post get wide coverage, and that the governor is also trying to inform people. There is no doubt that the Supreme Court is going to reverse the recent decision about three extra days. They will call for the vote counting to be stopped at midnight on election day, similar to what they did in Florida in 2000. They have signaled this, Kavanaugh incredibly repeating Trump’s words about rigged elections, and how if votes are counted after the night of the election, people will think it is rigged. Votes have always been counted after election night. In 1960, the election was not decided until at least the evening after the vote. There are all sorts of Senate and House races which might take a week or more to decide. Kavanaugh is either too stupid to know that, or too much of a tool of the far right to care.
i know that i’m just repeating the obvious. There are apparently a lot of votes out there in PA which aren’t coming in.. i can only hope that there are people on the ground there who are checking, calling people, trying to find out where the ballots are, and trying to get them to either drop them off today, or show up in person. Win PA, and I think we win the election.
I think the biggest thing stopping votes from coming in is the fear that if they’re mailed, they won’t get there in time and the Republicans are continuously trying to undermine us with court cases. It’s been non-stop attacks on mail in ballots all summer.
But even if people requested mail in ballots they can still vote at their regular polling place. The Lt Governor John Fetterman has been trying to warn people to not go that route unless they absolutely have to because I’m guessing they’re expecting tensions at the polls. He wants as many ballots in by today. The window of opportunity closes at 5:00pm today. After that, there is very little guarantee that the mail will get them to the BOE in time.
If our votes really did not matter, then Benedict Donald and the Russopublican Treason Party (fka GOP) would not be trying so hard to prevent us from voting.
Excellent point, IBW. It doesn’t appear that he has it all wrapped up. Not even in Nebraska.
