    • Week-end Wrap – Political Economy – September 27, 2020
by Tony Wikrent Slouching toward denouement Capitulation Will Not Halt Trump’s Coup David Sirota, September 24, 2020 An important review of political events last week. Worser and Worser

The slow down of the mail has consequences:

Imagine if you were waiting for a check or documentation.

Imagine if it’s your kid’s prescription for albuterol.

And all of this because one party can’t let the rest of us vote them out of office.

  1. The Democrats need to saturate the media with ads about these Russopublican shenanigans.

“The GOP does not want you to vote. Here’s why.”

“The GOP is trying to sabotage the Postal Service which we all depend on. Here’s why.”

    And so on.

    • Excellent suggestions, IBW. Practical and to the point.

We need a laser-like focus now: Defeat Donald Trump. Elect Joe Biden. Everything else depends on this goal. We may not be thrilled with Biden but he is the candidate. We may not like his choice of VP. We may still be angry about 2016 or 2008. We may want Trump voters to apologize or admit they are morons or eat dirt or whatever. But none of that matters now. Defeat Trump. Elect Biden. Work your ass off to make it happen, everyone! We can do it.

  2. The last 2 times I have received my mail order drugs, it took considerably longer than it had in the past. Generally when I received an email indicating that the drugs had shipped I got them within 5 days. About 5 months ago, it took two weeks… my latest refills took 10 days.

    • I thank you and RD for the warning; I’ll stick with my local Walgreen’s.
