    • The Flynn Pardon Is The Right Thing To Do + Mishandling Russia
So, Michael Flynn has been pardoned by Trump. His crime was lying to the FBI about talking to the Russians before Trump was inaugurated. Even a man like Trump can do the right thing occasionally, usually for the wrong reasons. It is entirely reasonable and routine for a President-elect’s advisors to talk to foreign governments. […]

Look at what BiFF found.

When he’s not obsessively checking Burkino Faso’s infection rate compared to his town in {{undisclosed location}}, he sends me stuff like this.

  1. What requires a greater level of stupidity and cultism; to believe that Trump had a good idea about injecting or swallowing surface disinfectants, or to believe that he was just being sarcastic, as he is now claiming? It is not as easy a question as it might seem? The first requires some kind of primitive worship of Trump, so that everything he says, no matter how insane, is considered to be true and worthwhile. The second requires some of the first, plus a belief that that Trump in a supposed briefing on this terrible pandemic, wanted to be sarcastic in some incomprehensible way. He was mocking his own statement? He was mocking ancient medical theories? He was inventing a new kind of humor, just for this occasion?

i wish that every question ever directed to Trump, would ask whether any of his earlier statements about anything were meant as sarcasm, such as the virus is under control, only fifteen cases, it will soon go away. Or just ask him for his definition of sarcasm, and how it applied here. i think we are just about at the part in “!984” where Winston is told that if someone holds up two fingers and says that it is three, it is three, because the price of saying two, is torture and more brainwashing, until he believes it is three. Someone should ask him if he had ever read “1984,” just that simple question, no elaboration; see what he says, or how he takes it. You might get a ten minute rant out of him, because he would have no idea what the implication was.
