The people who need to a good shit-kicking are most politicians, CEOs, and senior civilians. Well, and cops, obviously. And they need to know the cops can’t protect them from another one. The President, the mayor of New York, the Governor of New York, almost everyone who works for the Federal Reserve, all senior Wall […]

Some politicians need to lose their jobs

I’m talking about you Gov. DeSantis (R-Florida). Take a look at the cell phone trace from Spring Break:

Now, here’s something interesting. Austin, Texas is locates in Travis County. Austin canceled South by Southwest this year. Their Covid19 stats look like this:

And here’s the stats from New Orleans which did not cancel Mardi Gras:

Ah, but RD, you aren’t taking population into consideration. Yes, I am. New Orleans has roughly half as many people as Austin.

I’m not sure who made the call on what to close. But DeSantis takes the cake for leaving the beaches open for WEEKS and sending all those travelers back from whence they came all hungover and full of germs.

  1. I would say, executed for murder, and I am serious. Unless throwing someone off a cliff and saying. “Oh, I didn’t realize what would happen when he hit the ground,” is a defense. These sneering Republicans, the ones who cut off healthcare, and close abortion clinics, and who are so proud of themselves for being what they call a “Conservative,” which is the more misleading appellation I can think of, now have collectively killed perhaps hundreds of thousands of people. Is it that DeSantis figured that most of those people lived somewhere else, so let’s kill some more libs, and Trump will give me a bonus check? These people are murderers. Some people convicted and executed for murder have more of a moral defense than Trump and DeSantis, and the governor of Mississippi, who overruled his mayors who had called for people to stay home.

The consequences of the actions and inactions of these pathetic excuses for humans will never be truly known, but what we can be certain of is that they are so evil, so morally deficient, that they won’t even feel a bit contrite for the rest of their lives. They have no redeeming value at all, the are arrogant, contemptuous, sanctimonious, and greedy, at ever single decision point. America has had its villains or failures in government over the years, but these people are the worst, individually and collectively.

  2. 😂🤣😅😂🤣 your murder scenario. Too funny.

  3. RD:
Thank you for pointing out to our “deep blue” neighborhood and the fact that we don’t drink Red Kool-aid a la Orange way.

Yes, Mayor Steve Adler canceled on the 6th of March the SXSW International Festival that brings more than 350 million dollars revenue to local business, and no one boo about it.

Soon after, UT gave an extra week off spring break; proceeded to e-vac all dorms and closed the campus. Students were warned not to return but get ready for on-line follow up classes.

From then on, shelter-in-place was advised and Baylor Scott&@White medical facilities started a drive-in free testing and still on going. With the exception of emergencies, all other medical assistance has been conducted via video/telephone conference.

Our main groceries stores HEB and Whole Foods have developed a highly efficient and practical system to the 6ft “physical distancing” providing access for anybody and limiting the quantities per person. We all adjusted quickly -with the exception of course: the toilet paper (?).

On 17th of March by 8pm, all bars, restaurants, night clubs, gymnasiums, cinemas, theaters and entertainment venues were order to shut down.

One week later on Tuesday the 24th, the city Mayor and county Judge and Commissioners order a total lock down all facilities and stay-home orders; including state and federal facilities.

Local banks branches are contacting account holders, letting them know that money is available to help them meet whatever needs to overcome this crises; without screening, fees, none or low interest and negotiable terms. I received such call and assured me: “we are all in this, together.”

    This is “an American community”.

As per today we have 139 cases and unfortunately our first casualty.
A 70 year old lady who had significant underlying health conditions; she’s in a better place. RIP

    Happy to call Austin: home.

By the by, Republican Governor Abbot does not consider necessary a state wide lock down.

  4. The absolute BEST thing about this is that now tRump and the Gov of FL are teaming up and wanting a quarantine on anyone coming in from NY/NJ. This is the new definition of Chutzpah
