Whoa! Yay, Virginia!!

Note that Virginia had to redraw their gerrymandered maps this year after Democrats won majorities in past elections but didn’t get the number of seats to match.

The ERA was lurking in the back of my mind but I didn’t realize that Democrats sweeping Virginia would make it happen. Next year could be something special.

In other news, Seth Abramson quotes The Upshot on the dilemma Republicans have put themselves into for protecting Trump.

This is what I alluded to the other day. The “quid pro quo” is bribery. Bribery is specifically described in the Constitution as one of the grounds for impeachment. They are “Treason, bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors”.

I was wondering when the press would start to use the common word.

Everyone knows what a bribe is. And the House has enough clear evidence that Trump would only protect our national security with an ally if there was something in it for him.

The whistleblower isn’t needed anymore. It’s over Republicans. The evidence is all there and testimony has been given. . Sondland put the nail in the coffin when his amnesia finally wore off and he suddenly recalled that Trump really did want to bribe Ukraine.

It does make you wonder why so many people knew about this and decided to say nothing while a few brave individuals put their careers on the line to not allow Trump to become a global crime lord representing America.
