    • Killing Herd Animals
One of the great crimes and tragedies of our world is how we treat the animals we eat (or whose milk or eggs or other products we eat and use.) Factory farming keeps them in tiny enclosures, feeds them monotonous foods, and then when they’re slaughtered it’s a terrible experience: they’re terrified and die in […]

The easiest impeachment EVER.

There have been rumors floating around lately that the House will submit a single article of impeachment.

When you think about it, it’s like buying a lottery ticket. Your odds don’t improve if you buy 1 ticket for the Powerball or 100 tickets. All you need is the single winning ticket. The ticket de tutti tickets.

To impeach Trump, there is one charge that will absolutely stick without question.

The Democrats know it.

The Republicans know it.

The “president” knows it.

Now, the Senate can choose not to convict. That’s their choice. They can be like the OJ jury and choose to make a political statement even when the evidence of this one single charge is laid out before them in all it’s glory with the trail of blood leading from the crime scene directly to the Oval Office.

But let’s just be honest here. We’re all going to see what this evidence is and we’re all going to know exactly why he did it. No one will be fooled, not even the MAGA crowd. They can threaten a civil war if they want to but the rest of the country won’t want anything to do with defending Trump.

So, whether he cuts a deal with Pelosi to resign with his dignity intact or whether he is voted out of office by the tsunami of landslides, Trump will not serve a second term.

Unless he cheats.

We can’t dismiss the possibility. Nor can we dismiss the likelihood that Republicans and their mouthpieces will go into overdrive distracting, accusing and gaslighting until the public’s head spins.

Nevertheless, he *will* be impeached by that one charge and it will be the one possible constitutional reason to impeach the president that everyone in America will instantly understand.

This isn’t rocket surgery.
