OooOOOoooo, Snap! That’s going to leave marks.

Somebody’s campaign should hire her for the debates.

    • They don’t currently have enough votes for impeachment, may not even be close. What is it, 60 or so Democrats who have come out for impeachment hearings, out of 235? What a debacle if they go on this path, and they lose the vote. And if they somehow manage to muster enough votes to barely approve impeachment, the Senate trial will be completely run by McConnell, who will use it to have his party attack the Democrats for wasting the country’s time, for not attending to the people’s business (a complete lie, but when has that ever stopped them), and for all sorts of alleged treasonous activities. The “trial” will be about the FBI, and about Hillary, and all the targets of Republicans. And of course Trump will be acquitted. And then headlines will blare, “Trump acquitted by large majority in Senate.” And Trump will go around the country on an exoneration victory tour. Does anyone think that the media is going to point out nuances?

And then Democrats will have lost most if not all of their ability to make Trump’s treasonous conduct an issue in the election…because “Trump was acquitted! He did nothing wrong! The people have spoken!” This is a pit into which the Republicans are trying to drive the Democrats. It obviously will never get Trump out of office, it is unlikely to even unearth much that is not in the Mueller report. And I’m not at all sure that the media would even cover most of it, they don’t want to devote their airwaves to days and days of testimony, with Republicans jumping in at every turn, to disparage the hearings and the witnesses. This is why Pelosi does not want impeachment, outside of finding strong new evidence through the current investigations. With about 60% of the country not favoring impeachment, it would very possibly cost the Democrats control of the House, which of course is the only rail standing between the democracy and the abyss of fascism. And when have Chris Hayes and Lawrence O’Donnell, and Chris Matthews been right about anything?

  1. LUV the video and the song. Thanks.

  2. I wonder if she’s still a certain fake circus performer’s darling after THAT video. 😈

  3. Not a TS fan but that was wonderful! She has a tremendous following, so here’s hoping some eyes, minds and hearts are opened by her efforts. Did i see Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Reynolds and Katie Perry? Did I miss others?

  4. Katy is GREAT! Watch a clip of her on Bill Maher last week. It is hilarious and on point.
