*** MANDOS POST *** The Hungarian government, led by Victor Orbán, the great defender of the worker from the hordes of cheap labour and cultural contamination knocking on Hungary’s doors, has decided to pass a law that: Drastically raises mandatory overtime for 250 to 400 hours. Allows employers to bypass union negotiations and make agreements […]

  1. No, I voted!

  2. Not to beat a dead horse, but for archival purposes and connecting the dots etc., here is a clue to how media 30 somethings installed Obama in 2008 primary. ‘Woman, but not this woman’ 20 somethings said. A different generation of the same age group said Bernie was more exciting in 2016. Older women are not just sexy (relevant) enough to remember let alone acknowledge for some men. Let us change that!

  3. The country is not running in good luck. The jobs report is positive, though the last one was not very good, and the next one is likely not to be good, either. Trump people will seize on it, though. It’s not a pleasant thought, but I am certain that Trump’s policies will lead to a major collapse of thee economy, since no economy can sustain that much debt; and the rising healthcare prices will squeeze the middle class so badly that they will not be able to afford buying many things. The end result will likely be something like a banana republic, where a very few people have untold riches, and the rest of the people have almost nothing. But I am concerned that this basically good jobs report will be of help to the Trumpian candidates in a few days. Ironically enough, while we desperately need to win the House, Trump will blame the upcoming economic decline on the Democrats, if they do. I wish that there were more knowledgeable people out there in the voting public. Every single Republican president leads us into one or more recessions, and some into worse than that. And yet people forget, and they do not understand, and so every time that a Democratic president improves the economy, they go back to voting for Republicans again.

  4. He belongs in a ‘shithole’ country, not America.

    • They shot the protesters 3 days before Trump said what he said.

      • No one should be shooting protestors, Niles. It’s immoral.

        • A cr@wd@d disappoves of shooting black folks?

          *faints from the shock KLUNK*

          • *sigh* disapproves

TurdPress, have I told you lately that I loathe you? 😛

      • Can you read? They are justifying their deed based on his words. If he were a dictator there he would do there what he is talking about here and he would be in good company. He is unAmerican.

  5. If you want this insanity to stop, vote Democrat!

    • Oh please. 🙄

    • This would have happened anyway despite trump. On the other hand, he is inciting violence getting people killed. Let us get him out of office.

    • Wages “soared” to .4% above the inflation rate. And that is for this month compared to last year at this month. So the average worker who was breaking even given the cost of living, just got .4% ahead for this period. Put another way, the person making $3,000 a month who desperately manages to put $100 a month into savings, now can put $100.40 in the bank, another 40 cents each month! And that is before taxes.

If Trump and the Republicans keep power, the ACA will be gone, health insurance premiums will shoot up, and they won’t cover anything. The cost of living rise will more than subsume wage gains. Eventually, people will have to curtail buying; corporate earnings will decrease, there will be layoffs, and the economy will sink into recession, as it has under every Republican regime which practiced trickle down economics. The slight exception was Reagan, but that was because of the unprecedented military buildup. There were still two recessions under Reagan, a skyrocketing deficit, and then a recession under GHWB. A major economic decline is inevitable under Trump.. Trump is doing what he did in every one of his businesses: pile up debt, keep borrowing, and then walk away by declaring bankruptcy. Can’t do that if you are a country.

    • Lies, damned lies, and statistics… 🙄

    • Yes, how brilliant to inherit a strongly recovering economy and douse it with toxic accelarant and backward facing policies.

  6. Kickass ad from Texas Dem candidate. Vote for her!

  7. Time to stop blaming tRumps base for his white nationalist fear and threat campaign and just expect this is who he is, it’s how he gets through the day exploit (group. Person or thing), attack, abuse then deflect change exploited group, Person, or thing, repeat. Injury then supply it’s an exhausting goat rodeo for those who are not mentally ill any wonder they don’t believe their vote can change things. Gotta put tRump cable talk shows on ignore, shun them, neither adds any value to your daily life.
