Happy D-Day

And now a word from Aldo Raine on how deal with Nazis.

Memorable quotes:

Now, I don’t know about y’all, but I sure as hell didn’t come down from the goddamn Smoky Mountains, cross five thousand miles of water, fight my way through half of Sicily and jump out of a fuckin’ air-o-plane to teach the Nazis lessons in humanity. Nazi ain’t got no humanity. They’re the foot soldiers of a Jew-hatin’, mass murderin’ maniac and they need to be dee-stroyed.

So much for Nazis being “fine people”.

and the German will talk about us, and the German will fear us. And when the German closes their eyes at night and they’re tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. Sound good?

The California primary is over, guys. Time to put on your best D-Day face and squash the GD Germans. We’re only going to disembowel them metaphorically. Then we’re definitely going to beat them soundly in November. Give them a Veterans Day to remember.

Sound good?

  1. Because you media mfers are incompetent and treat all his scandals with a lack of seriousness that is astounding. Look how this incompetent fucker blames the Democrats! trump is not running circles around the Democrats, he is running circles around you, media fuckers. Get your act together for your country’s sake. Make Russiagate stick!

And this Alter guy even read the article?
“the media presents the Russia scandal mostly as a political threat to Trump, not as a serious threat to the nation”

    • Because the employees of the Mainstream Media want to keep their jobs, and their employers would not be pleased if they reported anything that induced the citizens to throw out the Rethugs and replace them with Dems, because the Dems might raise the employers’ taxes.

In short, the owners of the MM and their fellow fat cats are, by and large, a foul mob of traitors who don’t might selling their country to Tsar Putin to increase their profits. 😡

  2. The Democrats running for office in the midterms must use this David Corn’s piece as a template and talk about saving our country and our democracy. No way around this. Do this!

  3. What happened in yesterday’s primaries? Does anybody have a handle on it?

    • We won

    • My thoughts would be that in CA, where I live, the results were somewhat inconclusive, but the main thing is that we avoided the “lockout” on the November ballot, which was feared to possibly result from the inane “top two primary” system essentially put in by Schwarzenegger. Actually, the Republicans were locked out of the ballot in the Senatorial race, but Feinstein was going to win that, anyway. I read some of the analysis from Dave Wasserman of Cook Report, and Harry Entmann of 538, and they both opined that Republicans did pretty well in the currently Republican held Congressional districts but that usually the Democratic turnout is higher in the general election than in primaries. Some of those districts ran about 52-55% in R turnout, which has to change if we are to flip those seats. Democrats are targeting seven R held seats in CA,, and we probably need to win five of them to move toward taking over the House. Right now, it looks like we have a decent chance at that, or it could only be two or three that we win.

In the rest of the country, the notable surprise was a flip of a Missouri State Senate seat to the Dems, but that doesn’t do much on the national scene. Women did very, very well in Democratic primaries, almost always beating a male opponent. The question is whether that can be carried over to a general election constituency; it will be crucial that it does. One more thing: it appears that Democrats in key Republican districts in CA at least voted sufficiently for the candidates endorsed by the DCCC, rather than throwing away their votes on the fringe candidates. We will see if the Bernie folks actually go all out to vote for Democrats, or whether they find reasons to sit out the election again, or simply do not contribute or help on the ground, because they turn up their noses at the non-Bernie candidates.

      • All in all, pretty good news. When are the Stoneman Douglas warriors eligible to vote? That will be a good day.

  4. This sounds like the Onion but apparently true. WTF!

  5. He also told Melania, people love you, our country loves you. “OUR Country?” He looks at her like he looks at other immigrants?
