Today is Beltane, the Celtic fire festival that announces the beginning of summer. There’s a big fire festival on Calton Hill in Edinburgh every year with a procession of the May Queen to meet her Green Man. They are accompanied by Elementals representing fire, earth, air and water. The pictures are spectacular and it looks like everyone has a good time, running around half naked with bodies painted from head to toe.
You don’t need to be a pagan to appreciate nature and the change in seasons. I’m a water worshipper.

I looked for Beltane songs online. A recommendation was “I Touch Myself” by the DiVinyls, which, I have to admit really taps into the spirit of Beltane but I think I’ll save that one for tonight.
Ahem.

No, it does not, you nitwit! it connects ashes from burned acts to smokey eye makeup which she wears profusely — there is a direct connection between how many facts she burns to how much stuff she puts on her eye (which she does and why?) and Wolf prefaced the joke by saying how resourceful Sanders was to use the ashes for eye makeup — the absurdity of it all should point to the joke it was but also to the harsh truth about how much burning/lying she does. These people in the media are not even smart!
Say what? If i remember correctly, Huckleberry (sorry her southern accent makes me type that) wore very little make up at the beginning and then it appeared she lost the battle and started wearing more and more makeup to include false eyelashes which I think look ridiculous on anyone who isn’t on the stage. I think she looked sensational at the WHCD dinner but on TV press briefs she kind of resembles a disjointed Picasso. Not her fault, she is just not photogenic, I can relate, neither am I. Also, I think Wolf was taking aim at her “substance,” not her appearance.
She has a bit of a cross eye and she compensates for that with the eye makeup — at least that is my take. If I want to be unkind which I do, I will say that trump makes her do that because she is not a good looking woman and his eyes must hurt to look at her as she is performing for him in the press briefing room.
You know scandal du jour is Kelly and he called the buffoon an idiot. Who wouldn’t. I think that quote from Letterman is apt. We all know there is something wrong here and with him. Hillary warned us that he was a misfit. Let us just get on with moving him to his golf properties permanently before he does any more damage.

Recommend this thread; explains why trump got elected by mostly White even when they figured he was a misfit. Whites feared meritocracy taking hold in America more than whites being on top. As an immigrant, the meritocracy part is what made me fall in love with this country; the American Dream, come from wherever but you will be treated fairly and you can succeed.
