Living here in Georgia, I get to witness some of this unhinged conspiracy thought from those one the Right. With the possibility of a Trump loss, I can only expect many on the Right will even fall even further down the rabbit hole…

    • Interview Part 2: Politics Thru Climate Change
This second excerpt from my interview is more interesting and longer. This is the second clip from my interview with Ian Welsh (Ian blogs at ianwelsh.net). For this segment, we went on a wild ride discussing the big picture mess that is US politics and society more broadly. I asked Ian what might happen if […]

If Trump fires Rod Rosenstein …

… I don’t care what the weather is like tonight, I’ll be out there.

I’m listening to Creamsicle talking about what a “disgrace” it all is that Bob Mueller got the NY FBI to kick in the door of Trump’s lawyer. They’re looking for evidence of bank fraud and campaign finance violations.

He sounds very whiny. It’s so unfair. It’s a witch hunt. 🙄 It must be a very new experience to be held accountable for what you do.

Anyway, he’s planning something in Syria. He said we’ll know about it very soon, “probably after the fact”.

He’s a dangerous cornered animal.

Omg. Check this out. It’s from 2017.

Trump’s personal lawyer will serve as key RNC finance executive

Is it possible that this raid is related to that contribution to Elliott Broidy, former RNC finance chairman, from the United Arab Emirates?

  1. I wonder why Cheeto Benito hasn’t moved against Rosenstein and/or Mueller already.

Perhaps he believes the same thing many of his cultists do–that the “Deep State” is a coherent entity, rather than a metaphor for the continuing institutional interests of the various security and intelligence agencies, and the armed forces, and the corporations who make big bucks selling those institutions the stuff they need to do their jobs.

Also, that the “Deep State” got rid of both JFK and Nixon.

Maybe he fears that if he succeeds in blocking the Deep State from getting rid of him in the way that it got rid of Nixon, then the DS will merely shrug, and set about getting rid of him in the way it got rid of JFK.

We already know that he prefers fast food because the workers don’t know who a specific order is for, reducing the chances that he could be poisoned deliberately.

Or, more simply, perhaps he has been told that if he fires Mueller, the previously watertight Mueller organization will start leaking like a Russian pee hooker. 😈

    • Maybe the Republicans in DC would be motivated to get off their duffs and do something if Mueller was fired. Anyhow at this point things have gone too far. Firing Mueller would not stop much of anything.

  2. Raise your hand if you got the vibe that Cohen was a crook when you first saw him on CNN in 2015/16…

    • If Cohen is a lawyer for the mob, what does that make trump?

  3. Is Hillary drinking Champagne in that pic?

  4. God, I hate Ruth Marcus!
