Newly released data shows that properties owned by the Trump Organization and Kushner Companies profited from pandemic relief programs: In total, it was more than 25 PPP loans worth more than $3.65 million. https://t.co/O4Ltezu7lj — Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) December 2, 2020

    • Schools and Covid
Back in August, when it became clear that schools were going to reopen in countries like the US and Britain that did not have Covid under control, and which never would control Covid until there is a vaccine, I wrote an article warning against going back to school while Covid was out of control. I’d […]

Everything that’s wrong with America summed up by a teenager.

Welcome to the much lauded “private sector”, Emma where there will always be some business person who will trash government on the one hand while money grubbing for tax payer money with the other.

This, I am pretty sure, is part of what the Trump voters were angry about but they keep voting for the very same people who will give them more of it.

  1. The people with the power to make changes

The problem here is that the people with the power to make the changes (i.e. government) is controlled by the people who give them their jobs in the first place… and that is not us, its the money people who have been empowered by the Supreme Court via Citizens United, Corporations are citizens, etc.. Get the money out, ban all advertising except ads done directly by the candidate, and maybe we can get our country back.

    • Yep, Hillary talked about CU and corporate influence during the campaign (on her to do list IIRC). She talked about it during her Rutgers Q&A recently.

  2. Change the people in power — vote them out! It almost feels like we need a whole generational change at the voting booths.

  3. There is an article from yesterday that says fake news elected trump. Duh, in view of that I suggest all social media be limited to well curated arts/sciences and charge a subscription fee. Everything related to the personal and political should be forbidden. There is no exercise of first amendment here. If they don’t want to adhere to the media rules, they cannot act like media/journalism sites in disguise serving for free, fake news and propaganda to gullible people.

  4. huh, the dumb fuckers believed when turmp said that he was going to drain the swamp. The most galling thing among everything else with this WH is the corruption from top to bottom.

  5. Pardon the pun, you reap what you sow. Not soy beans in this case.

    • I won’t be surprised if Hillary is blamed for it. We will see if his supporters wake up or stay in their coma.

      • This is about China’s new counter tariffs on Soybean in the recent couple of days. They seem to have aimed at hitting his base. Both Russia and China are doing things to hurt him with his base but his dumb supporters are oblivious to it.

        • “…his dumb supporters…”

          You misspelled “cultists”. 😉

  6. we were robbed in plain sight. Too bad the electoral college mfers could not correct it. Too bad the media mfers poured gasoline on this treason fire from the start.
