  3. Kind of OT. I am beginning to think the police force across the country is not trained to use firearms properly. That may be one reason there are so many police shootings and the extra assumption about blacks may have a weapon and therefore, more ‘shoot to kill’ situations. They are acting like scared little cowards in all these various situations. They would rather shoot first and kill where possible or not go in to the ‘combat’ situation at all. The FL case makes it doubly dangerous for these officers when there is an AR-15 involved. Does this make sense?

    • Pretty much destroys the good guy with a gun argument. Of course, for those of us who deal in reality not fantasy, it was always a silly argument.

      • I think the root of it is that it takes a lot of conditioning for normal, healthy humans to kill even a bad one. It also takes courage and willingness to sacrifice their own life if need be. Trump and his minions are con men and they will say whatever. It is up to the media to be the voice of the majority and social conscience and call bs.
