It’s warm here in Pittsburgh this morning. Odd to be this warm in October. But I have activities planned this weekend so I hope the weather holds.

I never blame the victim, but I am going to say something that a feminist isn’t supposed to: putting the other Weinstein victims aside and acknowledging their youth at the time, I see both Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie in a different category because they were and are children of wealthy and powerful show business families. I don’t believe that they would have been blackballed if they had come out in a timely way to warn other young actresses about the danger that Harvey Weinstein presented. How many young women without their connections might have steered clear? In no way am I saying that ogre Harvey Weinstein is not the villain of the story. I just don’t understand the silence of Paltrow and Jolie.
