    • How Important Is The Drone Attack On The Saudi Oil Field?
As you’d expect from the title, both more and less than it seems. The impact on oil prices is not that big a deal, despite the screaming. If they were to, say, wind up at $75/barrel for a few months, well the last time we had prices that high was… less than a year ago. […]

Will Donald Golf While Napa Burns?

img_0088

Rosy fingered dawn in Market Square

I mean they’re only up to 15 deaths so far. It’s not like it’s a tragedy.

They’re going to expect to have all the fire fighting done for them, I’m sure. But it’s only wine country and Donald doesn’t drink wine.

So what if it’s California and the world’s fifth largest economy. Did they vote for Donald?

Fuck’em.

Jerry Brown is just going to whine to generate partisan ire. He’s a Democrat, you know.

Donald can filter him out.

Donald Trump is not a cannibal, for which the cannibals are profoundly grateful:

I’ll bet he doesn’t taste good.

It’s warm here in Pittsburgh this morning. Odd to be this warm in October. But I have activities planned this weekend so I hope the weather holds.

It’s not even “rosy fingered dawn” yet and I’m already walking to my office.

A little Chrissie Hyndes this morning:

  1. Not to make light of the suffering, believe me, but this might be a good time for me to break up with the Gallo brothers.

  2. The same Media blow dried blowhards who, a week ago, were telling Hillary to shut up and go away are now outraged that she took a few days to condemn Weinstein. Hello, she’s not the president -thanks to you- she has more important things to do than tweet.
They twist themselves into pretzels to blame her for everything

  3. I never blame the victim, but I am going to say something that a feminist isn’t supposed to: putting the other Weinstein victims aside and acknowledging their youth at the time, I see both Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie in a different category because they were and are children of wealthy and powerful show business families. I don’t believe that they would have been blackballed if they had come out in a timely way to warn other young actresses about the danger that Harvey Weinstein presented. How many young women without their connections might have steered clear? In no way am I saying that ogre Harvey Weinstein is not the villain of the story. I just don’t understand the silence of Paltrow and Jolie.
