    • Pa. Supreme Court strikes down congressional map as unconstitutional
I have long said that gerrymandering is wrong and the current map is unfair. I will not accept a partisan gerrymander or a map that is unchanged from the one drawn in 2011. https://t.co/pK4JcM6iyf — Governor Tom Wolf (@GovernorTomWolf) January 22, 2018 PA progressives made a real effort to turn out the vote in the […]

    • Sears Canada Steals Pensions
So, Sears Canada went bankrupt. Their pension fund is underfunded. Pensioners will be screwed. As usual, before going bankrupt Sears paid large dividends and bonuses to its executives, but somehow didn’t have the money for its pension. This isn’t, but should be, illegal. Mistress of Deflection

KellyAnne Conway is Trump's propaganda minister. How do we know she's good at her job? It's the degree of frustration and confusion she leaves in her wake.

But it's no mystery how she does it. It's not the force of her arguments or incredible persistence in promoting ugly "facts" to defend her magical theories.

She's got a technique. Vox breaks it down for us. After this, you'll never look at KellyAnne the same way again. She's just another magician who knows sleight of hand.

In the end, it is all an illusion if invincibility. As they conclude, there's no reason to keep inviting her back on TV for an interview if you know in advance what she's up to.

So why does the media still treat her as a legitimate and ethical spokesperson for a public office?

I don’t agree with every last thing Milt Shook says–one of the commenters is correct that he somewhat overlooked how many white women joined the ranks of Trump’s Chumps–but he makes quite a bit of sense.

  2. This song, “A Victory of Love”, came off the same album as “Forever Young”.

It was never released as a single. I first heard it about eight or nine years ago. It has become my favorite Alphaville song.

This video is fan-made, but it looks like it would have fit right in on early MTV.
