    • Flynn flip? Sure looks like it!
It’s starting to look like Robert Mueller may have given the Resistance another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving. The New York Times is reporting that Flynn’s lawyers have notified Trump’s legal team that they can no longer talk about the Mueller probe. This is the clearest indication that Flynn is either a cooperating witness […]

    • Trump’s Policy on NAFTA is Mostly Correct
Yeah, I know, Trump is wrong on everything. But I agree with Thomas Walkom on NAFTA. The bottom line is that what Trump wants is what the left should want, and if it doesn’t, it isn’t the economic left. And Trudeau’s pretty face and lovely abs don’t change that. Trump wants to: raise the minimum […]

BiFF: POTUS Travel Ban… on POTUS

The US 4th Circuit Court of Appeals today, in a 10-3 decision, rejected the Trump administration’s plea to reverse the hold on its travel ban orders, thus narrowly avoiding the scenario that the president and his entourage, who are travelling now in the Middle East, would be refused entry back into the country.

Thus, in spite of arguments that the president’s return “stands to cause irreparable harm to individuals across the nation”, the Richmond-based court upheld the ban, allowing travellers from the Middle East to enter the country. The weak vetting implemented by the Obama administration is deemed unlikely to prevent Trump’s return, a career employee at the Department of Homeland Security confirmed.

A Trump administration spokesman confirmed their intention of appealing to the Supreme Court. Democratic party leadership indicated the Supreme Court would be unlikely to rule before Trump had returned, making an appeal on their part also unlikely.

  1. Over at P. M. Carpenter’s blog, a commenter calling herself “Anne J.” posted this, which I think is worth re-posting. (Boldface is mine.)

The imbecile in chief is an embarrassment, not just on his own, but because he is a reflection of the people and the attitudes that helped get him elected. He is a reflection of the moral decline of American society. He is a product of the selfishness, petulance, and apathy that kept people home every election for the last several decades. He’s a reflection of people who think being a douchebag is a sign of strength. He won not only because of the people who voted for him, but because of the smug, self centered “conscience” voters who think they are smarter and more virtuous than everyone else because they voted third party or not at all and do not hold themselves accountable in the least for helping put this cretin in office. He is America’s self inflicted wound.

What could I add? Bravo, AJ.
