    • So Trump’s Russiagate attorney actually connected to scandal
How… inconvenient! From The Nation: Marc Kasowitz—Donald Trump’s long-time lawyer who’s representing the president in the ongoing investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russian agents to interfere with the 2016 election—is looking more and more like he’s not up to the job. A Wall Street “tough guy” with little or no experience in […] […]

    • The End of Cash; The End of Freedom
Recently the Indian government took high value bills out of circulation, in order to fight corruption. This has been bad for the economy, not just because the gray economy is large in India, but because India is a place where a ton of business is done by cash, not by credit. In France, because of […]

Trump on Election Fraud. Message: He Cares

BiFF is on it:

Capitulating today to public demands for clarity regarding Russian interference with the 2016 elections, President Donald Trump created a panel to investigate fraudulent Russian voting during his campaign against Hillary Clinton.
Trump commissioned the panel by executive order, to be headed by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, and co-chaired by VP Mike Pence. Trump denied that Kobach and Pence’s strong ties to alt-right, extreme racist, white nationalist, and homophobic groups would in any way preclude their objectivity in prosecuting the case against Russians infiltrating the US or Ukraine to vote against the Republican party.

“Kobach and Pence’s strong ties to alt-right, extreme racist, white nationalist, and homophobic groups will in no way preclude their objectivity in prosecuting the case against Russians infiltrating the US or Ukraine to vote against the Republican party,” said Trump.

“A photo ID is just crucial to stopping this,” tweeted Trump. “I mean, even I know 8.7% of the people from Georgia are really from Russia. And 10.7% are muslims! And they ALL voted for Hillary! We must stop this!!!”

The Confluence apple-ogizes for any spreading of fake news and alternative facts. The correct percentage of ethnic Russians in Georgia is 6.3% as of the 1989 census, the most recent year for which data could be found on wikipedia.
