Not confirmed, at this point. “What sources are telling FOX Business Network is that former President Obama, now less than 100 days out of office, has agreed to a speaking engagement during Cantor Fitzgerald’s healthcare conference in September,” FBN’s Gasparino said. “We understand that he is going to be the keynote speaker for the lunch, […]

Life goes on

There will be more to say about Syria and how the Republicans stole a Supreme Court appointment. But today I am in the strip district of Pittsburgh getting dinner at Wholey’s (salmon) and apricot nectar for my prosecco.

The sun is shining. It’s getting warm. Going for hike in Frick park later.

Go outside. The drama will still be here when you get back.

From this afternoon’s hike in Frick:

  1. Those preppy looking boys are at least playing music and not wearing a bullet proof vest and pretending they are in charge for their senile mentally ill FIL. Life goes on, indeed.

Check LM’s TL for other captions. We are all little peons who can’t change the course of history (easily, anyway) set in motion by mfucking idiots, but we can laugh at them from our peanut gallery.

  2. Your lips, your lips are JUICY

  3. “Worth it.” 😛

  4. Name, prediction, or both? 😉

    • “Cousin Wo used to mix it up with this dude named McGarrett, but that was a long time ago.”

      • I love the Hawaii 50 reference. The actor who played Wo Fatt made an intimidating villain in that 1960s tv series.

This summer I watched “The Manchurian Candidate,” the original movie from the 1960s and was amazed at the performances and the ending. My local library had access through interlibrary loan to a new edition of the movie that was issued a few years ago.

        • Of course, Hawaii Five-O (my favorite cop show when I was a wee lad) spelled the name with one “t”, but I figured it was close enough for the joke.

  5. I found this maybe last month, and I didn’t feel like waiting until December to post it.

Looks like Mommy may have had a few, and this gift really isn’t the best idea–and it doesn’t help that she reminds me of Joan Crawford. 😮

  6. Hate to interrupt the political break but I found this Susan Sarandon quote from last month “You know, they want to keep women apart because together we’re just so powerful,” just gonna leave this here…
The caption at advocate said it best “The Oscar-winner who publicly dragged Hillary Clinton during the election asked women to support each other.”
