There is vast confusion in the more active left about this, so let’s clear it up by way of Bernie Sanders. Clinton was more popular with POC and women than Sanders was. She was also more popular with old people. However Sanders is well liked by POC and women. Every survey I have seen shows […]

Snow falling

4I woke up to snow this morning. The street outside wasn’t plowed. I live on a hill. Thank god for anti-lock brakes.

Pittsburgh has many beautiful city parks and I wish I could be in one of them today, walking in the soft quiet snow, taking pictures.

And coming back to a warm room and a pile of books.

El Douche just found out he isn’t King of America, thanks to the state of Washington. May others join in the fight and may the Dems finally grow a backbone to take this dictator down.

Let the fight begin to win back sanity.

I wish I was a fly on the wall to see Douche huff and puff around his tower.

  2. Me, too, Shadowbox… Me, too!!

Love the pic, RD! It’s so peaceful. Here, there is a deluge. Looking to build an ark…

All hail the 9th Circuit!!! I read the whole thing, in jubilation. Favorite part: “Instead, the Government has taken the position that the President’s decisions about immigration policy, particularly when motivated by national security concerns, are unreviewable, even if those actions potentially contravene constitutional rights and protections. The Government indeed asserts that it violates separation of powers for the judiciary to entertain a constitutional challenge to executive actions such as this one. There is no precedent to support this claimed unreviewability, which runs contrary to the fundamental structure of our constitutional democracy.”

    • First, I just wanna say how happy I am that California is finally getting rain.

Second, that ruling sounds like the Wolfgang Pauli classic, “This isn’t right, it isn’t even wrong”.
