Competent and good are not synonyms. Smart and good are not synonyms. Evil and competent are not synonyms. Virtues are not all moral virtues. Bravery is a morally neutral virtue. It makes bad people worse, and good people better and without it all virtues and vices are nearly meaningless. Competence is morally neutral. It is […]

A taste of how bad Hillary media has been

Following up on yesterday’s discussion of the study that showed that Hillary Clinton gets a lot more negative media coverage and a lot less positive media coverage than any other candidate- for no apparent reason other than some 23 year old smear campaign started by Sally Quinn for her own purposes- here is an oldie but goodie video from the last time we had to put up with this crap. This video was put together in 2008 and features many of Sally’s “friends” including Chris Matthews who seems to be spewing what must have been cocktail chatter he picked up at Quinn’s house.

It’s a great video by the mysterious vlogger ShuttheFreudUp. Pass it around.

  1. that video made me cry…

  2. I remember Keith Olbermann spitting out that “the Clintons are running a campaign right out of the David Duke playbook,” which he said because he desperately wanted Obama to win, he hated the Clintons, and so he took leave of his senses. Then when Hillary was within 100 delegates of Obama, and probably would have been ahead except for the travesties in Florida and Michigan, which had not been completed yet by the DNC, it was daily demanded of her that she leave the race so Obama would win. When she said that she remembers races going on into June, such as 1968, when she recalled RFK in the California primary, the media said that she was suggesting that someone might assassinate Obama so she could win. At that point, you are in a world of Hitlerian “big lies,” and there is not even a sliver of an argument that the media is anything but insanely biased against her. Virtually anyone would have retired from public life after that horrific spectacle. But we are very fortunate that Hillary surmounts this, and that she has enough love and support among the general populace to at least vitiate the evilness of most of the mainstream media.

  3. Thank you for posting it. I had a link to it, but it was pulled down a long time ago.

  4. I have a confession. That day when they said she cried was the day I started to fall in love with her. The reason not so much the crying, but what made her in that state. Her diagnoses of what is going on is right on the spot. Frankly it was making me sometimes physically ill just thinking about which I do all the time. So in that instance I felt so grateful for her for saying it out loud. But did anyone listen, or at least try to defend themselves against what she said? Well you the answer. The reason of course what she said was true and they know it.
