There is vast confusion in the more active left about this, so let’s clear it up by way of Bernie Sanders. Clinton was more popular with POC and women than Sanders was. She was also more popular with old people. However Sanders is well liked by POC and women. Every survey I have seen shows […]

The Book Book

So, apple has a new watch and Kansas City has a new Ikea.  The new Ikea opened on Wednesday.  I think it’s just a stone’s throw away from Katiebird’s house.  Some of my favorite Ikea products in no particular order are:

1.) Lack tables

2.) Kallax shelving unit (you can’t have too many)

3.) Chocolate

4.) Cinnamon buns

5.) Curtains (they’re all pretty good and affordable)

But did you know they also came out with a new product with the latest technology?  Check it out below.

That video reminded me of the Medieval Helpdesk (video from Norway):

  1. #6. cloudberry preserves (!)

    • I thought I saw cloudberry the last time I was in Ikea. Are they as good as a the lingonberry? (It tastes great on warm swedish pancakes toped with a flurry of powdered sugar)

      • Cloudberries are just sublime. The berries only grow in Norway, Sweden and upper Canada and are (i think) slightly sweeter than lingonberries. Here in Minnesota there are a few Scandinavian stores that occasionally import fresh cloudberries, although it is still rare. Yum

  2. I was thinking about visiting it tomorrow but just realized that tomorrow is SATURDAY.

Traffic hasn’t been too bad around here this week but, I have a feeling tomorrow will be scary. Still, I’ll print out your list RD and keep it handy!

  3. I’d love to see what you did with your kitchen. Never have gone to Ikea…. Hi KB.
