    • The current world peace paradox
(MANDOS POST MANDOS POST MANDOS POST MANDOS POST) In a weird twist of fate, American liberals and (some) leftists are finding themselves in the non-traditional position of standing in the “hawk” corner, while (some) American conservatives under Trump are in the position of wanting to cut deals with so-called traditional enemies of the USA.  Whether […] […]

The Democrats’ big mistake. HUGE

So, it looks like the federal healthcare exchange site is not going to meet its deadline. And there are a bunch of Senators getting all antzy about Obamacare (really? Just now? Didn’t you guys READ what you passed??). And to top it all off, Obama is going all Waffle Man on us, all right?

Now, I’m not going to claim that Hillary Clinton would have given us a better healthcare bill, although I’m going to bet she would have researched it to within an inch of her life. But what I am absolutely sure of is that damn healthcare site would have been up and running on time because it would have been tested thoroughly two years ago. Because, you know, some people do their homework and are diligent pains in the asses and some people aren’t, all right?

Here’s a blast from the past from Tina Fey to remind the party where it went wrong. Well, first, it listened to a bunch of overeducated grad student guys who had problems with women and were quite willing to saddle us with an untested corporate schmoozer type from their tribe. This was clearly more important than poor and sick people getting healthcare. Some accomplishment.

Thanks for ruining everything, Assholes.

  1. I kind of get lying about some dumb thing to get past an election. I mean, you just keep saying your lie then the election happens and who cares if the truth comes out. But, do they think THIS batch of lies isn’t going to matter? That people won’t care when their health insurance doesn’t really cover anything? That people who expect to sign up for this stuff can’t even get into the website? It’s obvious they think we are stupid beyond belief but, dumb as we are, most of us keep track of multi-hundred dollar expenses. And we expect value for them.

I really wish Hillary would say something about all this. I am really curious about what she thinks.

  2. Bill Cliinton spoke out recently and the Obots are all over him….I heard one on the radio this AM warning Bill that if he doesn’t shape up, they will take it out on “him” (e.g., HRC) in 2016. I bet Bill is quaking in his boots.

  3. I only wish I could watch as a disinterested party…..

  4. Charles Blow’s column today (11/14) was about the polling showing a downward slide in how people view Obama’s character. It has taken the dual healthcare debacle of plans not providing coverage and computer glitches to show that Obama is a poser.

Hillary would have done her research and she would have learned from her earlier attempt. Hillary is a person of substance, nor is she afraid of a fight.

I’m sorry that it has taken Obamacare and the people it will hurt to get people to realized that Obama is not who they thought. I never was a fan of Oprah and I have not forgotten how she characterized him as “the one.”
