    • Congress introduces legislation to destroy Social Security
< class="repubhubembed"> In December, 2015 just ahead of the Iowa caucuses, then-candidate Donald Trump stood up at a town hall and reassured a concerned AARP Iowa member that they “were not taking their Social Security.” In fact, throughout the campaign all he would say is that there was “waste, fraud and abuse” inside the Social […] […]

    • Basic Reasoning and Reading
Competent and good are not synonyms. Smart and good are not synonyms. Evil and competent are not synonyms. Virtues are not all moral virtues. Bravery is a morally neutral virtue. It makes bad people worse, and good people better and without it all virtues and vices are nearly meaningless. Competence is morally neutral. It is […]

Q.: What’s wrong with this picture?

A: Absolutely nothing

  1. I didn’t know Obama was left-handed until seeing this photograph.

  2. left-handed…right-winged!!!

  3. He has the butt a shade high. I’m this pic will be made into targets by tonight. Bachman is probably plinking as we speak.

    • I am not a shooter but I also wondered if the gunbutt shouldn’t be a little lower and more against the “meat” of the shoulder.

  4. “I’m betting this pic”

  5. This is off topic, but it concerns the subject of indentured guest workers, including H-1B workers. I remember RD mentioned H-1B workers at least once.

  6. He is trying to appeal to his critics that he likes guns too. Personally, I know his Wall Street base is quite happy with him and the insurance companies love him (my premiums just went up again this last enrollment…).

    • I don’t object to people owning a gun or rifle for protection or hunting. And I see nothing wrong with skeet shooting. It’s the gun collectors who think they need to be able to mow down their neighbors when TEOTWAWKI comes and who don’t lock up their weapons of mass destruction that I have a problem with.
Not sure how this relates to his Wall Street base. You can despise him all you want for being in their pockets but that has nothing to do with the gun issue.
