Rogers and Astaire. Verdon and Fosse. Temple and Robinson. Miller and Flanagan?

Something lighthearted and fun this morning.  This is 10 year old Autumn Miller working on a combo with her Hip-Hop dance instructor Todd Flanagan.

There are a couple of other Miller-Flanagan combinations on youtube.  Here’s another to Nicki Minaj’s The Boys.

One Response

  1. I love to watch these two dance. Autumn is a force of nature. Part of this has to do with the natural energy of kids. But she also embellishes her moves in a way that only a natural dancer could. The “hands up” move is a case in point. She makes her hands into butterflies and it’s very eyecatching.
Todd is a big guy but he moves with uncanny grace and speed. His moves seem to explode and then recede into subtlety.
Everytime they do this combo, my attention shifts first to one then another. then I have to watch it again to see if I missed anything.
