    • Visiting The Hospital In Canada
So, last night, after a few days of illness, getting worse, I took some codeine and a sleeping pill, lay myself down to sleep, and couldn’t. Right then, obviously serious enough that I needed to go the hospital. I arrived, at one of Toronto’s (Canada’s largest city) largest hospitals. There was no one else in […]

  1. Who is the woman in red?

    • Betty Crocker. I think we could photoshop a red dress on Sallie Kercheck and no one would know the difference.

  2. I remember Betty Crocker from when I was far too small a child to possibly grasp any of the “semiotic meanings” of Betty Crocker.

Then again, my only real memory of President Kennedy is of “that man who is on TV when I want to watch Yogi Bear! And why does he have a circle on his desk?”

  3. United States Teen scientists have breakthrough on skin disease: http://youtu.be/YW7u5JORrm0 via @youtube #Teens #Youth #teenagers #Science

    ………..

Thought RD would find this story of interest. Go teens Go!

  4. The image of Betty Crocker is a composite of more than 75 typical American women in the 21st century. Her image has changed over time, but has always been created that way. No woman has ever modeled for the role. What it says about Sallie Krawcheck is she looks like a typical American woman. Not sure it says much else. Not sure where you’re going with this?

  5. Two things tell us all we need to know. Obama is considering her and the NYT likes her.
