I have watched part of the Nuremberg trials since the election, and it’s incredibly compelling in light of current events: First released 40 years ago, ‘The Memory of Justice’ uses the Nuremberg Trials as a springboard for unanswerable questions. • Macron v. Le Pen in France
This is the final showdown. A reminder, Macron ran Hollande’s economic policy, and wants to do even more “liberalizing” of the French economy. AKA. more gutting of worker’s rights, wages and so on. The polls show Macron winning, but given the reliability of polls lately, who knows. What I do know is this, Macron will […]

How Not To Fire A College President

  1. Your link about the College President lead to this story Which has a couple of interesting thoughts. This Hillary 2016 is an idea that won’t die. … The Obama embracing Clinton thing was interesting too after seeing Obama’s awkward reception when he was picked up by the pizza guy..

    • If you were Hillary Clinton, would you want to clean up after Barack Obama? Hell no.
I do agree on one thing. The Big Dog must have asked for something big. I can’t imagine what it is but if I were Hillary, I wouldn’t accept anything less than a Supreme Court appointment to replace Ruth Bader-Ginsburg before the election.
It would be a real Hail Mary pass.
Other than that, I’m not sure what Clinton wanted from Obama. It’s curious how so many people want Hillary to run but didn’t have the balls to ask for it in 2012 when her chances were pretty good.
There was a different article in The Hill about what it means if Hillary doesn’t run in 2016. It seems that Congress has already come to terms with that possibility. They think it’s going to mean a political vacuum because there isn’t anyone with her stature coming up, especially women. Elizabeth Warren *might* have the necessary components but she has to win MA first. Other than that, they got nada.
I think they are a little bit concerned.

  2. Off topic: It’s been 13 years now, but I still miss the Moon.
