After the X level solar flare last week, I went in search of a good aurora borealis video on youtube. I hoped to find one from the US, and there was a pretty decent one from Minnesota. But nothing compared to the very professionally produced video from the tourist board of Finland, my new favorite country. This aurora borealis happened in 2011 but it is spectacular.

I have twice seen northern lights in lower Michigan, both times of less intensity but one of those times of equal quality to what is shown here.
