    • The Silver Lining of Thanksgiving Past
I had originally intended to write a rather cynical Thanksgiving weekend post – pointing out that the Indian tribes who helped the pilgrims in that first Thanksgiving feast made a big mistake by helping Europeans figure out how to live and prosper in the new world. Their reward, ultimately, was slavery, scalp bounties, smallpox (sometimes […]

OccupyWallStreet: Puppies vs Babies- Round1

In no particular order, babies and puppies spotted at various occupy events around the country including Seattle, Austin and NYC

  1. I speak Occupied Wall Street English.

  2. ahhhh,,,,, but where are the kitties?

I image those outlier NYC cats are keeping the rats from the tents :)

  3. Hey, it’s horribly, horribly premature to involve politics at this stage. Nothing to see here folks, just keep on Occupying..

Give them time at the member to member level. One thing some Zucotti OWS people wanted, was to change the two-party system….

    • The OWSers are probably doing meta-politics and mutual co-discovery at this point. The politics will emerge in due course, and whether or not you find the politics that emerge to be to your taste is probably a matter of deepest unconcern to the OWSers.

    • Hey, Catfish, glad to see you again. it looks like you just can’t quit us. ;-)
(I think we’re wearing him down, conflucians)

    • Would you like some cheese with that whine, Mr. Catfish? :P

  4. Before I vote I need to know if that baby is saying what the f*ck or win the future. My vote will be determined by the answer.
But seriously, you expect me to chose between babies and doggies? I can’t do it.

  5. RD, email me ASAP. I have something to send you…. Thanks…

  6. Get more of the ordinary folks photos out there to counter the Faux Spews plants in the crowd.

  7. Last night, in Liberty Square they had a parents support OWS night. Lots of toddlers were listening to music, older kids playing chess – it was quite a sight!

  8. http://occupybanner.wordpress.com/

Check out the occupy banner project.

    • Yeah, I was going to add that to this blog but I don’t seem to have a plugins option in my settings. Maybe it has to do with the current theme we’re using. It may be time for an overhaul. I know that Katiebird has been itching to try something new. ;-)
