    • A ‘textbook case’
This is interesting. Yes, Donald Trump is clearly mentally ill. You almost have to have something wrong with you to want to be president, but there is that and there is this: A striking number of leading mental health experts are concerned enough about the possibility of a Trump presidency that they’re willing to speak […]

    • The Silver Lining of Thanksgiving Past
I had originally intended to write a rather cynical Thanksgiving weekend post – pointing out that the Indian tribes who helped the pilgrims in that first Thanksgiving feast made a big mistake by helping Europeans figure out how to live and prosper in the new world. Their reward, ultimately, was slavery, scalp bounties, smallpox (sometimes […]

Sarah Palin Uses Info Gleaned From ‘Treasonous’ WikiLeaks To Pen Op-Ed On Dangers Of Iran

Sarah Palin sought to build her foreign policy credentials on Tuesday, with a new op-ed arguing that the Obama administration needs to “toughen up” on Iran based on information from leaked diplomatic cables that she had earlier denounced.

Their point:

Sarah Palin hypocritically uses WikiLeaks information to gin up war with Iran.

The important point:

Sarah Palin hypocritically uses WikiLeaks information to gin up war with Iran.

When are progressives gonna figure this shit out?

What's the matter? Don't you like clowns?

  1. Android Keeps WikiLeaks Apps, Apple Banishes

It seems that all the world’s corporations have banded together against WikiLeaks, with the major credit cards having blacklisted payment options, Amazon having shut down the hosting, Facebook having locked down the FB Page, and — well, you get the idea. Now, add to that list Apple, who has removed the WikiLeaks application from their web store.

Design Taxi’s report gives us further details. The application was fairly simple, and allowed users to access the content from the WikiLeaks site directly from their iPhone or iPad. It had been up for only a few days, but had nearly 5,000 downloads in that time (and garnering its developer over $5,000). When asked for the reason for the application’s removal, an Apple spokesperson stated that “Apps must comply with local laws and may not put an individual or group in harm’s way.” Of course, this very statement puts Apple directly on one side of the heated debate over the legality and risks of this whistle blowing website.

I guess progressives are gonna boycott Apple now.

  2. I was wondering when Palin was going to become the anti-Christ. I mean, Obama has been the Messiah, it’s not so hard!

  3. Pls note Assange apparently uses an Apple computer as disclosed in a recent interview…oh dear, what to do now?? Still throw the iphone out of the window??

  4. (snark on)

You must be so disappointed since you’ve been her biggest supporter. Hang in there…

    (snark off)

  5. Honk, honk.

It’s right in front of people’s faces. But then so was Obama saying Reagan was his favorite and Social Security would have to be privatized and cut and abortion rights should be narrowed and being gay is just a lifestyle, etc.. Sometimes people can’t hear what they don’t want to hear.

  6. I just put my cursor over the link to check the source and as soon as I saw it was Huff-n-Puff it all made sense. Talk about “ginning” up controversy, I guess it was a slow news day so they had to find a Palin story to push.

  7. I don’t know why Sorkin is making his next picture on Edwards. Palin is more interesting. Those two photos up there could be movie posters from a KubricK film.
