The world is facing an imminent water crisis, with demand expected to outstrip the supply of fresh water by 40 percent by the end of this decade, experts have said on the eve of a crucial UN water summit. Toe-Sucker Morris weighs in (Barf-bag warning)

This is what a Dick looks like

She fired his ass and he’s still pissed:

Hillary Is Up to Her Old Tricks

The Wikileaks documents show that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has, as Voltaire said about the Bourbon kings of France, learned nothing and forgotten nothing.

Her request that American diplomats at foreign postings and the United Nations gather personal data about their foreign counterparts is eerily reminiscent of her use of private detectives to unearth negative information on those who were politically inconvenient during the husband’s campaigns for president and his White House tenure.

At the time, I called these operatives the “secret police.” Now, apparently, we call them the “diplomatic corps.”

The Wikileaks documents show that you cannot only not teach an old dog new tricks, but you can’t stop her from doing the ones she has always done.

[…]

Seems like old times. In the 1992 presidential campaign, the Clintons retained private detectives to learn negative information about the women who were accusing Bill of improper conduct so as to provide blackmail material to cow them into silence. During his White House tenure, FBI files on prominent Republicans somehow ended up on the desk of an operative who was hired pursuant to Hillary’s recommendation after a career as a bar bouncer.

Linda Tripp, whose efforts led to the denouement of the president’s affair with Monica Lewinsky, found the details of her personnel file splashed all over the newspapers. A subsequent federal lawsuit found that her file information had been released improperly, and a U.S. district court judge levied a heavy fine on the government for the violation.

The fact that this current State Department covert operation was initiated under Rice does not lessen Hillary’s guilt for having pursued it. Clinton, not Rice, has run for president and is presumed to continue to be interested in the job. Her addiction to spies, dumpster divers, sleuths and negative research operatives has always been a cause for concern.

The jury has been out on how well Hillary is performing as secretary of state. I have always been critical of her riding on her husband’s name to achieve fame and power. But when she was appointed secretary of state, clearly despite her husband rather than because of him, I felt it prudent to withhold judgment. This is, after all, the first real job she has ever gotten on her own.

If you need someone to talk trash about the Clintons Dick(head) Morris is the guy. Like Levi Johnston he’s made a career out of biting the hand that once fed him.

He *knows* all this stuff even though he wasn’t there when it allegedly happened and he took no part in any of it.

I’d call him a sleaze bag but that would be an insult to sleaze bags.

  1. The Hooker, Line And Sinker
    By Howard Kurtz
    Washington Post Staff Writer
    Wednesday, September 4, 1996; Page B01

Sherry Rowlands, the suddenly famous Virginia call girl, is taking all the credit for the downfall of presidential adviser Dick Morris. She says the Republicans had nothing to do with it.

    […]

As for Morris’s downfall, Rowlands said: “Someone as intelligent as he is should have kept his lip buttoned when he unzipped his pants. I mean, how can you maneuver worlds, and he can’t even control what he’s doing in his own room with a paid lady?”

Morris’s resignation was announced hours before President Clinton delivered his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention last Thursday night. His departure came after the Star, a supermarket tabloid, published allegations by the $200-an-hour prostitute that she had a long-running relationship with Morris. The Star, which says it paid Rowlands less than $50,000 for the story, made her available to “Hard Copy.” A spokesman for the program, which often pays for interviews, declined to say whether Rowlands was paid.

In an interview with Time magazine published yesterday, Morris again declined to address the allegations, “even if this episode destroys me.” He said he would not be advising Clinton informally: “I’ve sent myself out of the game. I’m not going to run the campaign from the locker room.”

    […]

Asked about Morris’s wife, Rowlands said: “I’m sure this is hurting her, and was not meant to hurt her. He’s the one who hurt her, not me. . . . He loves his wife — that’s why he would pay me . . . to come see him. That makes him feel he is not cheating on his wife. This is business as long as he’s paying for it.”

She quoted Morris as saying: “My wife probably has an idea that I fool around, but she really doesn’t have solid evidence. . . . She does tell me if I need to do that, please be discreet.”

Rowlands quoted the political consultant as saying of his influence over the president: “They all know who holds the leash . . . that’s around Clinton’s neck.”

Rowlands also recounted an episode in which she said Morris let her listen in on a phone conversation with the president:

“Hillary answered the phone and she said the president was exercising at the moment and she would get him . . . and when [Clinton] came back he sounds really mad . . . and he said, ‘Look, Dick, I would prefer you not use this phone anymore. You can understand Hillary is upset, my wife is not well, you know with all this Whitewater trial and everything, she is not well. You know the regular lines, do not call the private residence anymore.’ And he was embarrassed and he said, ‘I’m sorry, sir’ and hung up.”

  2. He’s a low–life scum sucker. But, he probably always has been. He’s always been out for Hillary–when I’ve occassionally heard him on TV, he’s pretty nice about Bill.

  3. His time must have expired on his 15 minutes of fame.

  4. Tacky dude. Is Townhall populist right or establishment right. It’s hard to tell. Jeb Bush likes to write for them.

  5. Yea, that whole Yale Law, and career as one of the 100 best lawyers in the country was all manufactured by Bill too huh? She’s just been faking the whole SOS thing. I saw this article earlier today and considered commenting to rip him a new one, but then figured I wouldn’t waste my time. He’s disgusting. & HE has the nerve to talk about riding Bill’s coattails?!! What has he done? He is the simmering Poster Child for CDS.

    • Well said.

    • Yale Law grads are a dime a dozen…this isn’t:

“she became the first student in Wellesley College history to deliver its commencement address.[24] Her speech received a standing ovation lasting seven minutes….”

If anything, meeting WJC and moving to Arkansas may have derailed an even more promising career…..we’ll never know…

      • That bit of Hillary’s history is awesomeness to me.

Just sit and count down 7 minutes.

        Hillary’s address moved people.
        She moves people now.
        She is the ONE.

      • I do think that she would have already been president if she had not married Bill. I am sure that she would not change that part of her life. She is incredible and we, as a country, are crazy for letting her get away.

        • Amen to that, Honora. And to be perfectly honest, Hillary is not far enough left for me, but I know talent (and brains and tenacity and class) when I see it.

      • Too bad we don’t have a video or film of it.
She should have reenacted it for 08 campaign, with applause and all.

Then Obama would have said “All she had was a speech.”

        • Right, a reenactment as historical proof not like Obama didn’t do that for his infamous anti-war speech.

Now that would have been something two competing reenactments. Although one would have really happened in the past. Who knows about that other one? Wasn’t even mentioned in the Chicago newspapers when it allegedly happened.

  6. Last I heard from him, he was advising W to start a “fresh” war” as Iraq was done giving him good ratings…

  7. Old dog?

    Go f*ck yourself, dickhead.

“The Wikileaks documents show that you cannot only not teach an old dog new tricks, but you can’t stop her from doing the ones she has always done.”

  8. Boehner to create women’s restroom

Speaker-designate John Boehner (R-Ohio) intends to commandeer a swanky office space adjacent to the House floor and build a women’s restroom for female lawmakers.

For years, men have had the luxury of using facilities located adjacent to the House floor, just outside the Speaker’s lobby. But women have had no such option.

If women need to powder their noses, they must instead go downstairs or to a restroom several halls away from the chamber.

What if they need to take a piss?

    • We never have to piss…didn’t you know that? But our noses have always been caked with powder!

    • So I guess Speaker Pelosi did not think this ‘lady law maker powder room’ thing was a good idea??? Why do I think that the ‘swanky office’ may have been Pelosi’s outer, outer, outer meeting office.

Can we get one of those ‘This is what a Feminist looks like’ Ms covers for Boehner?

    • Well, it’s official. The Republicans have now OFFICIALLY done more for women than the Democrats.

    • Once again, the Democrats are a day late and a dollar short.
Newt Gingrich put it to Tip O’Neill when the Speaker decided to do business as usual and quash the House Banking Scandal inquiry.
As to a women’s rest room, I’ll bet the Speaker’s office has its own facility and Nancy couldn’t care less about anybody else.

Things I have given up on seeing in my life time.

      A woman President.

      GLBT’s serving openly.

      Same sex marriage.

      Gender equality.

      Single payer.

Gee, thanks … Obunko, Pelosi and Reid.

  9. Too much excitment, and to top it off, women in the white gonna get a hitching post.

  10. Morris must have a hidden love for Hillary, a woman who looks at him like dirt. It’s the only explanation for his deranged behavior.

    • Somewhere I read that Morris tried to date her in college (or had a crush on her) and she rebuffed him. This could explain his obsession with her.

Morris = Levi . Brilliant analogy!

  11. Enraging as this bile is from a disgusting, tiny cockroach that tries to pass itself off as a functioning human male (he had to pay for it, for heaven’s sake; there were no takers for free), I take great delight in the knowledge that he has never gotten over her beating him. That fact screams from his rantings. Beat by Hillary. Yup. Look where she is. Look where he is. You better believe it drives him crazy. All the time. A crazed cockroach.

    • As I understand it, they don’t consider it cheating if they have to pay for it. It’s just a business transaction without any oogie feelings and stuff. He really does love his wife, sort of.

  12. What a vile human being.

  13. So, did his wife stay or did she go?

    • Quick google tells me they got back together as Dick started making his name as a Clinton sex expert attacker. Maybe wife Eileen McCann, attorney, sees something in TS that isn’t evident to the casual observer. Well, she has to live with it.

      • Sometimes I think about dismembering him.
        — Eileen McGann, wife of Dick Morris

Dick Morris should sleep with one eye open because Eileen might just be waiting for the right moment.

    • If she went there would be trouble?
If she stayed there would be double?

  14. Obama and GOPers Worked Together to Kill Bush Torture Probe

    Wed Dec. 1, 2010 2:47 PM PST
In its first months in office, the Obama administration sought to protect Bush administration officials facing criminal investigation overseas for their involvement in establishing policies the that governed interrogations of detained terrorist suspects. An April 17, 2009, cable sent from the US embassy in Madrid to the State Department—one of the 251,287 cables obtained by WikiLeaks—details how the Obama administration, working with Republicans, leaned on Spain to derail this potential prosecution.

It amazes me how the Republicans get so much for free from Democrats. Obama must owe lots and lots to Bush. I wonder what that might be.

  15. By what means does Dick Morris receive a paycheck? He’s never been elected to anything. Nobody ever asks him anything unless it is to pile on a Clinton.

  16. Morris simply gives me the willies.

  17. Gin and Trefoils- perfect together. Oh wait! Did I miss Happy Hour?

  18. That Mother Jones link smacks of a quid pro quo, doesn’t it?? I always wondered why the R’s didn’t roll out the heavy ads (think Rev. Wright, etc.) against Obama. I just kept waiting for them to do the usual socialist, commie, wacko ads and they didn’t come. I think a deal was done.

    • I agree. The GOP took a dive in 2008.

      • Yes, I think the deal came down to not going after a W’s war crimes in exchange for the presidency. Could this be why impeachment was off the table as soon as the Dems won Congress?

  19. Unlike our historic President who can’t put two coherent sentences together that aren’t written for him, here is 21 yo HDR’s (nee Clinton’s) speech at Wellesley (1969).

    http://www.wellesley.edu/PublicAffairs/Commencement/1969/053169hillary.html

  20. why would i listen to a crusty old loser like morris anyway? anyone who doesn’t get a measure of those one is negotiating with shows a lack of intelligence. can anyone tell me why these women would tolerate not having equal bathroom facilities to the men? are they nuts? what kind of respect are we supposed to have for them when they won’t even stand up for themselves and half of the population of this country. these symbols matter. this makes me really wonder about those we elect and their vision.

  21. This entire wikileaks thing is blown up b.s. and people like Dick Morris know it. Listening to NPR yesterday I heard quite a few say as much. EVERY diplomat around the world gathers this type of information on those they have contact with and they always have. It’s standard procedure to do so. They gather every tiny detail about the people they are going to meet with. It’s been going on forever and ever. So these documents were leaked but, that doesn’t make this something “new” or anything extraordinary in any way. The only thing it’s done is make a “thing” out of something that is part of this job. If we stop doing this while other countries continue to do it we’re at a disadvantage meeting with those people. it’s become a necessary part of the job. I’m not sure leaking this stuff was anything all that “sensational” though it’s being treated as such. Meanwhile the leaks on the war are all forgotten and stuff.

Our media has become so dishonest it would be laughable were it not so tragic. They blow up coverage of some things not so important while utterly ignoring coverage of far more important issues. The think covering whether Sarah Palin is a mega star contender or not endlessly is more important than covering the history of that Cat Food Commission so people could see what has really been going on. Now there is a REAL scandal.

There’s a certain gleeful slathering hate that comes out whenever a powerful woman is the slightest bit implicated in anything. Especially if it’s Hillary…though they NEVER cover or spin positive on the good they do. I’m so sick of this blatant hate disguised as “newz” coverage. It’s so weirdly bizarre how the context is missing. Diplomats around the world must find this hilarious given they all know what this job entails. NPR also noted how Obama has zero diplomatic skills compared to Bill Clinton…notice Dick Morris hasn’t mentioned it…surprise, surprise.

    • Larry Johnson over at NQ has said the same thing–this is just a bunch of hyped up nonsense. Johnson has a long history in security and intelligence, so I tend to think he knows what he’s talking about. Link here:

      http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/2010/12/02/fox-news-joins-the-parade-of-fools/

And frankly, as soon as I read Hugo Chavez was calling for Hillary Clinton’s resignation, I knew the game was up. Talk about a feeding frenzy.

But it’s a great distraction from the Fed’s partial dump of “where the American taxpayer’s money went in the bailout lotto, foreclosuregate and all the other wonderful escapades of the Wall St. crooks and their political handmaidens. Not to mention the Europe’s financial meltdown, the Chinese bubble on the verge of bursting and oh yeah, that little disagreement between the two Koreas. Has anyone noticed that POTUS seems mum on all subjects??

Nah, much more fun to wield the axe in Hillary Clinton’s direction, attempt to stain the indisputable record she has as a tireless, savvy worker bee [her unforgiveable competence] and listen to the crazed rantings of Dick Morris, who obviously never met a strong, powerful woman he didn’t hate or hold a grudge against.

Welcome to modern-day America, where distraction and attention deficit order are the elixer of the masses.

      Makes my head hurt!
