    • Is It Dangerous To Hit Targets Inside Russia?
Now, to be clear, a few targets have been hit in fairly minor ways, but let’s assume a real strike with Western provided weapons. The opinion below has been stated often. The Manchurian President? Once again, Obama is neither a communist nor a socialist!

This is too much. A new book by Aaron Klein, of World Net Daily, tries to make the case that President Obama is a creation of radical communists and socialists who mentored him, built his political career, and now control his policies. The book is entitled The Manchurian President: Barack Obama’s Ties to Communists, Socialists and other Anti-American Extremists.

The Manchurian President…unmasks exclusively important aspects of Obama’s carefully covered-up college years, with new details of his student career at Occidental College, and later at Columbia University.

Obama’s associations with the Nation of Islam, Black Liberation Theology and to black political extremists are also revealed, with extensive new information on these subjects.

Also detailed are Obama’s deep ties to ACORN — much more extensive than previously documented elsewhere. The book crucially describes how a socialist-led, ACORN-affiliated union helped facilitate Obama’s political career and now exerts major influence in the White House.

In one chapter, the book unmasks the extremists among Obama’s “czars” and other top advisers, including new information linking Axelrod and Jarrett to communist activists.

The many issues pertaining to Obama’s eligibility to be President are carefully examined and given a much more extensive analysis than in previous works, including questions about Obama’s birth documentation and whether or not he legally qualifies as a “natural-born citizen” according to the U.S. Constitution.

The Manchurian President also exposes how Obama’s healthcare policy, masked by moderate, populist rhetoric, was pushed along and partially crafted by extremists, some of whom reveal in their own words that their principal aim is to achieve corporate socialist goals and a vast increase in government powers.

Oh really? Then please explain to me why Obama is pushing a right wing Republican agenda. The man isn’t even a liberal Democrat. He isn’t even a moderate Democrat. If he’s any kind of Democrat, he’s a Reagan Democrat. But to me he seems more like a Reagan Republican.

Obama is anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-freedom of speech, pro-war, pro-torture, pro-NSA spying, pro-Wall Street, and pro-privatization of Social Security. How can anyone claim that is a communist/socialist agenda?

I swear, sometimes I just want to start tearing my hair and run screaming into the street. This country has gone insane.

  1. we told them that he was not the best candidate. they didn’t listen. don’t blame us.

    • You’re assuming that the Obots have come to their senses. They are still making excuses. Just check out the comments at Huffington Post attacking Bill Maher for criticizing Obama and offshore drilling.

      • I see that McCain voters are to blame

Blame the American people and the rallying cry of drill baby drill. 30% or so believe in global warming? Bone heads. Obama didn’t cause that. Blame the public. How many of those fisherman in the gulf voted for McCain and drill baby drill?

        • God these people are too stupid for words. McCain didn’t win therefore whether these people voted for McCain is irrelevant.

I swear some of these people have no brains. They seem to not get that if you arein charge then you are responsible, for good or for bad.

  2. My impression of those who call him a Socialist

  3. SoMebody call Angela Lansbury and arrange a special command performance of Auntie Mame, because it’s time to activate him.

    • I could actually believe that Axelrod carries a deck of cards around with him.

      • Lol Sadly, I can’t believe that Axlerod represents any greater power than maybe the Hair Club For Men.

      • Except Axelrod’s mind control came from nuclear industry, not communists.

  4. From the Amazon book description:

    Highlights of The Manchurian President:

    *Obama’s mysterious college years unearthed

*Shocking new details of Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers and other Weathermen terrorists

*Obama’s ties to Islam and black liberation theology

*Startling facts about Obama’s eligibility to serve as president

*Obama’s membership in a socialist party probed

*How Obama’s “hope,” “change” slogans stem from communist activism

*Radical socalists involved in drafting stimulus bill, ObamaCare

*Communists, socialists and other radicals on team Obama, including an expose on Obama’s top guns in the White House

*Never-before-revealed depth of Obama’s relationship with ACORN

    • {{{ yawn }}}

These people have too much time on their hands; the orderlies need to tighten the straps on their straight jackets too.

    • This is the mirror image of Obot morons who believe, based on nothing, that Obama’s whole shoddy career has been a covert op to lull the Powers That Be into a false sense of secruity and bam! Won’t they be screwed when he whips off his disguise to reveal Amazing Liberal Crusader. They won’t know what hit them!

      Wait for it…wait for it…any day now….

      • It’s the two versions of 11 dimensional chess. He’s only pretending to be a right winger–so that he can suddenly turn us into a communist dictatorship!

vs. He’s only pretending to be a right winger–to lull the Republicans into a false sense of security before he turns into FDR.

        • Could be 11 dimensional chess…he’s pushing the corporate agenda to it’s logical extreme. Once a critical mass are poor, destitute, and hopeless, they will embrace communism/socialism (not FDR style). Look at history to see what other nations have supported when the people got hungry enough.

        • Bingo!

  5. He may not be a socialist, but I hear he’s going to stay at a Holiday Inn Express when he goes to the Gulf.

  6. Right…

  7. At this point in time anything the Loontards on the right comes up with that f**ks Obama and the Democrats up is good by me.
Socialist, commie, vegan, what ever as long as it means there will be fewer Democrats in congress after November is alright by me.
The Malamute just ripped my hand open again and I am not in a good mood.

    • What is it with the pets today? Someone’s cat on an earlier thread decided to roll in stuff (cocoa?) My 3 dogs have all decided to go eat tons of grass, lap a lot of water, run around maniacally to make it slosh, then happily puke it all up on the carpets. I keep finding slimy green “gifts” that I missed earlier.

Our animals are trying to tell us the world has gone bonkers?

    • Spammy evidently takes umbrage at dog puke.

      • Dog bites?

        • I tried a reply and spammy nabbed it. Let me try again:

    • I have to agree. It is vital to get teh democrats out NOW, so that at least the damage perpetrated is not done in the name of good people.

If Obama was a communist, I’d bake him a pie

  8. Even Ron Paul, loon that he is in many ways, pegged this right: He’s not a socialist, he’s a corporatist.

“A careful examination of the policies pursued by the Obama administration and his allies in Congress shows that their agenda is corporatist. For example, the health care bill that recently passed does not establish a Canadian-style government-run single payer health care system. Instead, it relies on mandates forcing every American to purchase private health insurance or pay a fine. It also includes subsidies for low-income Americans and government-run health care “exchanges”. Contrary to the claims of the proponents of the health care bill, large insurance and pharmaceutical companies were enthusiastic supporters of many provisions of this legislation because they knew in the end their bottom lines would be enriched by Obamacare.

“Similarly, Obama’s ‘cap-and-trade’ legislation provides subsidies and specials privileges to large businesses that engage in ‘carbon trading.’ This is why large corporations, such as General Electric support cap-and-trade. To call the President a corporatist is not to soft-pedal criticism of his administration. It is merely a more accurate description of the President’s agenda.

    • Ron Paul may be a loon, but he’s not necessarily stupid. The 11-dimensional-chess proponents on both sides, however, are loons and are stupid. It used to be a lethal combination, but you’d never know it looking at the media and our elected so-called representatives.

  9. Time for Flockdraw

    • Time for M-80 firecrackers and tomato cans.

    • I don’t get it.

      • Rampant senseless destruction.

      • Senseless destruction.
Stop the world, I want to get off.

        • Darn that gravity! I’d jump off if I could.

          • If they keep all this up the gravitational pull, the magnetic field, and whatever else keeps us balanced on our axis will be thrown off kilter. We’ll be sucked into one of the black holes they’re creating with the hadron collider and then smashed to smithereens by T-Pyxidis as incoming.

  10. We’re not going to have drinking water for days, maybe weeks!

    • The devolution of society has begun. The Gulf Coast is destroyed, Times Square evacuated, Boston metro area without water, what next?

      • I hate to contemplate. Anything is possible now that the US has embraced Iran as a viable member of a women’s rights council.

        • I don’t think (how true) it was the United States as much as everybody else sticking their collective finger in Uncle Sam’s eye.

      • It really does seem like we’re edging towards the end of the world, doesn’t it? We’ve been living in a kleptocracy that is finally coming apart at the seams after decades of mismanagement, corruption, falling wages, growing unemployment, and collapsing infrastructure.

        • There are still islands of sanity left. The good news is as the loons & crooks run the Big PX into the ground, its gyrations will have less and less effect on the rest of the world.
I have friends in Canada that lost their jobs due to the collapse of the U S auto industry. As Canada looks else where for trading partners they will find work and we will become the economic back water we deserve to be.

    • I feel for you, during hurricane Agnes back in the 1970’s my place got flooded. There is nothing that drains the life out of your soul as unstoppable destruction. A close friend of the missus just lost their home to a fire this Friday. So far they are coping but it has to grind the life out of you after a while.

      • Agnes was horrible. We lived close to the banks of the Susquehanna and I remember being evacuated from my roof into a boat.

        • I lived in Elizabethtown and worked at Three Mile Island doing construction. The water took out the basement but didn’t get up to the first floor. It was a double whammy for me but it sounds like you had it much worse. Marietta, Columbia, Harrisburgh, Middletown, Steelton and Highspire got it bad.

          • We were in Middletown and I can still remember seeing the wall of water coming down the street. it was devastatingly frightful for a child to see. It is burned into my memory.

  11. Personally, I really feel for Obama being a CIA plant out to render the left useless (as if that’s hard).

    • I mean if I had to choose a manchurian scenario.

      • Or maybe obama’s just a Trojan horse’s ass: open him up and see all the little republicans come scurrying out.

    • I can buy the CIA conspiracy theory. But not the communist one.

      • CIA plant is a strong possibility. His mother worked for the agnecy through the Ford Foundation. His whole biography is a fake.

  12. “Obama is anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-freedom of speech, pro-war, pro-torture, pro-NSA spying, pro-Wall Street, and pro-privatization of Social Security.” It sounds like fascism to me.

    • Today, Obama spoke out against the first amendment during a commencement address at U. Mich.

      • I’d say that equating political disagreement with violence is fascist–but that would be mean and wrong of me.

      • Even apart from the free speech aspects, it’s just un-presidential to constantly be taking shots at your critics. I mean, gimme a break. Obama cannot STAND to have anyone say bad things about him, and MUST retaliate, every time.

That’s fine in a campaigner – hit back hard. But a POTUS should not do that. It comes across as weak and petty. Even Bush had decorum enough to have his surrogates hit back, rather than lower the presidency to that level.

    • I vote fascist too …

      • fascist he is. But I don’t damn care if they call him a communist or a crocodile, as long as they vote against him. I think it’s pointless to spend time defending him- let them slander him, bring him down. Why in hell would anyone waste time in defending their enemy from an unjust accusation?

        • Maybe because the people you claim are ‘defending’ Obama are in fact defending themselves. Genuine liberals and leftists have no desire to have Obama identified with them when he is in fact a right-wing kleptocrat.

      • whatever he is, he needs to be gotten rid of.

  13. Meanwhile my hand is killing me, blood is seeping out from under the band aids and Bailey is looking at me expecting a treat.
It reminds me of Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Bob Casey jr expecting a campaign contribution.
The only difference is Baily didn’t know any better.

    • If I laugh will you slap me? ((( great analogy)))

      • No because it’s one of those moments and I won’t stay mad at the big stupid galumph for long. He’s a dog and dogs bite sometimes when they are not happy. Unlike lying bastard politicians.

    • Awww…that’s a shame. I hope it will be OK.

      • You should have seen the first time he got me, I had chunks hanging out of my ring finger. One of these days I’ll learn that when he starts to growl that I should let off trying to get his collar off. Silly me, I thought I was faster.

  14. Wait, was the movie Manchurian candidate a communist? I am really confuzzled now – as I remember him being brainwashed in China, but doing the bidding of his mother’s group – who were clearly right wingers.
So, maybe by saying “Manchurian” they inadvertently hit on something? 😛

  15. Police say a car bomb caused evacuation of Times Square.

This is starting to creep me out.

  16. Geebus! Spammy had a full belly. I had to force him to belch about 8 comments out. yeeesh.

    • fetus fetishists or obots?

      • No, just regular commenters.

        • hmmm, i can never figure out why some crap gets through and then all of the sudden it picks on regulars

          • There are a lot of odd trigger words, but the funny thing is they don’t always kick in. I never end up in spam for saying “racist,” for example, but some people do.

          • I used to, but not anymore. I thought maybe that was taken off the list.

          • It seems like spammy “learns” who are the regular, reliable commenters or something.

          • He tends to grab me everytime I laugh, smile or wink. Lol Spammy–the sucking black hole of cheer.

  17. Well Bailey says it’s time to be walked so I’ll see you guys later. Buddy the cat is getting feisty too so I got to see what he wants. Don’t know whats worse, the two legged kids or the four legged ones.

  18. Agency postpones awards luncheon celebrating offshore drilling safety.

The LA Times notes that last year, BP “was among the luncheon’s winners, cited for ‘outstanding dedication and leadership in promoting improved medical care and evacuation capabilities for offshore facilities.’” During the Bush administration, MMS was embroiled in scandal over its employees being in bed (sometimes literally) with the oil industry it was supposed to be regulating.

  19. Late night drinking thread up. Bar’s open.

  20. bb:
    anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-freedom of speech, pro-war, pro-torture, pro-NSA spying, pro-Wall Street, and pro-privatization of Social Security

if you look at this list there are quite a few items on there that fall on the communist/socialist reality list: like anti-gay, anti-freedom of speech, pro-war, pro-torture, pro-NSA spying—-and you could certainly add anti jew and anti-minority populations—-assuming that you accepted the failed Soviet Russia as an example of communism which probably defines the perception of communism/socialism for most Americans.

The record of the soviet union on women is in reality a very mixed bag, especially if you acknowledge trafficking in women. Nor were there ever many women in real political leadership positions. There was a good communist record on abortion rights, child care and supporting women entering the work force but that may have been more about shortages of men because of the Russian Revolution and WWII than it was real ideological commitment.

    • That is interesting, and I did think about it. But Obama isn’t nationalizing the corporations, so I think that makes him closer to fascism than communism. But who knows? His goal appears to be either to be another Hitler or another Stalin.
