To protest the gender double-standard applied to above-the-waist nudity, 2 dozen women took to the streets in Portland Maine on Saturday, sans shirts.
In the irony of all ironies, their objective was to prove that a topless woman should be no more noteworthy than a topless man. However…
For some reason, the protest organizers were surprised to be given the level of attention their little march garnered.
An interesting argument. What say you? Should women be as free as men to go shirtless in public?
