Stormy Daniels For the Senate!!!

senator-david-vitterstormydaniels

(Little Isis Note: I’ve decided not to sell my laptop… selling my TV instead! So my Hiatus is officially over! Besides, this was just too irresistible not to post about.)

I went over to Uppity Woman earlier this evening and nearly choked on my juicy juice when I came across her gem of a post about Porn Star Stormy Daniels considering running against David Vitter for his Senate Seat in 2010!!!

I’m sorry, but this is just irony at it’s finest. The hilarity! I would consider it the Ultimate Karma if Diaper Boy was booted out of his Louisiana Senate Seat by a Porn Star… and a woman Porn Star, no less!!! THERE IS A GOD!!!

Oh please, please, please let this happen!!! I will PRAY for this!!! Oh, this is just too, too rich!!!

Now, seeing as how Vitter would be in no position to criticize Stormy for her profession, for obvious reasons that I will not mention here for fear of becoming X-rated in my snark (I am sorry, but can you blame me??? This is hilarious!!! You cannot make this sh*t up!!!), it is easy to see how many in Louisiana might be able to over look Stormy’s Porn Starness if she were the alternative to Senator Diapers- I mean, Vitter.

But it all leads to this interesting Generational experiment. I’ll admit it up front: I would have no problem whosoever voting for a Porn star if He/She was the best, qualified candidate for the office, had character and principles that he/she stood by, and a left leaning stance on the issues in line with my own policy positions. It is the standard by which I have so far judged all of the public officials I have voted for. I don’t see how it could be any different for a Porn Star, but seeing as how all of you here are older than me, I am aware of the fact that you may disagree.

I am also aware of the fact that you may now be staring at the computer screen with an expression of disbelief on your face. Oh come on! You all KNOW ME!

In any case, I am just interested in your thoughts, as I always am. Try to stay on topic in this thread. In the meantime, I’m just going to Google images of Stormy Daniels and…. OH MY LAWD!!!!

  1. Somebody needs to up those parental controls on your laptop my dear!!! ;P

    • Hmmm, that thought did cross my mind too. 😯

      • Oh, come on! I’m nineteen! I’m a big girl! (and a good girl! Er… most of the time.) :p

        • Oh, now, now, if I didn’t hemm and haaa a bit, I wouldn’t have earned my gray hairs. 😯 Besides, it is a way of doing the extended hands, while you watch the little ones take off walking… 🙂

I got a chain photo of the gran kids, a chocolate bar and a 4X6 photo too for gran moms Day (in the mail). Funny but I think I have all the pictures about the place and people must assume I take them and arrange them. When the little ones come by they always run to look for them, and it seems to comfort them and they smile.

So, little one, enjoy all the fuzzing…while you are young and see it is all good, and well meaning.

          • Awww, Woman Voter, that’s so sweet!

            (… and I’m a sucker for awww-moments!)

    • Porn Star To Run Against Senator David (I-Have-To-Pay-For-It) Vitter

      littleisis,

The big news folks have taken an interest too. Good note. 🙂

  2. That she can get up in the morning and dress herself makes her more qualified than most of the twits holding office now.

  3. well, that’s entertainment. Note to self: watch that election close. Never know, there might be a nip-slip.

  4. Another reason why it would be great: Vitter was one of the only two Senators to vote against our heroines confirmation. It’s like a karma double whammy!!!

  5. Great to have you back Little I! And let me just say that I don’t think Tweety will have trouble covering this story!

  6. Just when you think political theater can’t become any more surreal…

  7. Heck, I might even work on her campaign if she’ll take Vitter out … what a whacko that guy is

    • I would donate money to her Campaign, volunteer as a staffer, and possibly temporarily move to Louisiana just so I could vote for her. It would just be too sweet of a revenge against that repulsive creature who now occupies the seat… what a loon.

      • you’re more than welcome to stay here in the girls’ room. Since jean graduated med school last week and moved into her boyfriends condo, I doubt she’ll need her 1/2 of the room and Em’s going to Nebraska for awhile.

    • Senator Stormy has SUCH a nice ring to it!

  8. If she runs I hope she doesn’t choke.

  9. This will get ug-lee, and it’s not Diaper Boy who will bear the brunt of it.

  10. Hell, yeah, I’d vote for her over Vitter! But what I can’t get over is that he’s even considering running for re-election. Seriously?

Just slink away already, Vitter. Please.

  11. This isn’t a generational thing. I’m 62 and would vote for her in a heartbeat against Vitter, if I could vote in LA. Hell, the only ones I might not vote for her, or a like candidate, against would be Feingold and Bernie Sanders. The rest should be removed in any way possible.

    • Must be an age thing, ralph. We share the same number of years, and the same taste in senators – you just named my two favorites. I would love to see a porn star stomp Vitter’s butt (hold the visuals).

  12. Anywho, I am getting off to the sack… night everyone! Carry on without me!

  13. I think that’s funny. I would love to see her running against that dweeb. I think the two of them neck and neck would seem right and correct given where our politics is today.

  14. From Huffblow: “Obama to Fire His First Gay Arabic Linguist”

    http://foxyurl.com/1Y5

    Isn’t that special?

  15. Something uplifting:

  16. And people thought Texas was gonna cause heartburn for the Feds. Montana Gov signs weapons law.

apparently this bill negates the federal laws regarding gun control and should be interesting to watch the standoff between Montana and the Obama administration….Interesting note is that the gov. and two senators are all democrats….

    From the AP:
The state of Montana has signed into power a revolutionary gun law. The State of Montana has defied the federal government and their gun laws. This will prompt a showdown between the federal government and the State of Montana. The federal government fears citizens owning guns. They try to curtail what types of guns they can own. The gun control laws all have one common goal, confiscation of privately owned firearms.

Montana has gone beyond drawing a line in the sand. They have challenged the Federal Government. The fed now either takes them on and risks them saying the federal agents have no right to violate their state gun laws and arrest the federal agents that try to enforce the federal firearms acts. This will be a world-class event to watch. Montana could go to voting for secession from the union, which is really throwing the gauntlet in Obama’s face. If the federal government does nothing they lose face.

If guns and ammunition are manufactured inside the State of Montana for sale and use inside that state then the federal firearms laws have no applicability since the federal government only has the power to control commerce across state lines. Montana has the law on their side. Since when did the USA start following their own laws especially the constitution of the USA, the very document that empowers the USA.

Silencers made in Montana and sold in Montana would be fully legal and not registered. As a note silencers were first used before the 007 movies as a device to enable one to hunt without disturbing neighbors and scaring game. They were also useful as devices to control noise when practicing so as to not disturb the neighbors. Silencers work best with a bolt-action rifle. There is a long barrel and the chamber is closed tight so as to direct all the gases though the silencer at the tip of the barrel. Semi-auto pistols and revolvers do not really muffle the sound very well except on the silver screen. The revolvers bleed gas out with the sound all over the place. The semi-auto pistols bleed the gases out when the slide recoils back. Silencers are maybe nice for snipers picking off enemy soldiers even though they reduce velocity but not very practical for hit men shooting pistols in crowded places. Silencers were useful tools for gun enthusiasts and hunters. There would be no firearm registration, serial numbers, criminal records check, waiting periods or paperwork required. So in a short period of time there would be millions and millions of unregistered untraceable guns in Montana. Way to go Montana !

Let us see what Obama does. If he hits Montana hard they could probably vote to secede from the USA. The governor of Texas has already been refusing Federal money because he does not want to agree to the conditions that go with it and he has been saying secession is a right they have as sort of a threat. Things are no longer the same with the USA. Do not be deceived by Obama acting as if all is the same, it is not.
Governor Schweitzer is very popular with Montanans, and this is an example of how he has built his popularity. It’s a breath of fresh air to see a politician run on a platform of promises, and back up those promises with action. Governor Schweitzer promised to protect the 2nd amendment rights of the citizens. With the signing of this bill, he has lived up to the billing. I don’t care about the (D) or and (R) in front of the name, say what you mean and mean what you say. Good for you Brian Schweitzer!

    • I love my home state! GO MONTANA!!

    • Who doesn’t want to be drafted to fight in Civil War II over this? *raises hand* go ahead and secede.

      • I wouldn’t miss Montana at all. It would probably save the rest of us lots of money on roads and services.

So long Montana. (We would have to make all new flags, though. Kinda, expensive. Could we just make DC a state and call it even!!!)

    • There’s a bunch of case law involving “interstate commerce” that says the feds win.

How many people live in Montana anyway? 40? 50?

      • Yeah, Montana’s 17 residents will form a mighty, mighty nation. 🙂

  17. She is more honest in her job description then the people in congress who sell themselves to the highest bidder and claim to be working for the people of America..
She may even read the bills before voting on them. That would be different.
I would vote for her in a heartbeat.

    OT
Doesn’t GE own MSNBC? I just saw an ad about GE and the computerizing of medical records that backtrack is pushing.
How much money will they make on that scam? Now I know why MSNBC has been on its knees to backtrack and why they do not care about loss of viewers.

    • How much money could we possibly save by computerizing medical records?

      Millions? A few billion?

That’s a drop in a bucket compared to what we spend on health care.

  18. How safe would the medical information be with the hackers and the government snooping?
I am not computer literate as most of you know but in today’s climate I do not want anymore personal information computerized.

I don’t know if it would save any money. They would just add charges to the patients for transferring records or storing records or keeping the records safe..

    PUMAS,BUBBAS,EQUALISTS AND THOSE PEOPLE RULE

  20. Well she talks about the empowerment of women in the business industry as part of her platform so she already is better than Vitter. Her zeal for the free market is a bit concerning though.

  21. Dare I mention Cicciolina the Italian porn star member of Parliament? Elected in 1987 for 5 years, (and a total waste of taxpayer’s money IMHO.)

    http://tinyurl.com/qney3t

  22. Oh, thank the Gods you are back, LI!

And I absofriggin LOVE the irony of her running against Vitter. Thanks for the update.

(And you weren’t missing a damned thing on the tube anyway.)

  23. It would be the best unwritten headline since John Ashcroft was beaten by a dead guy!

  24. Voting for a porn star is one step too far for me. Don’t know if it’s a generational thing, me being 65 but I won’t go that far.
    I find it disgusting.

  25. Hey that was the cleanest pic I could find of her on Google Images.Believe me there was a great graphic of Vitter in his diaper that tempted me.

    Oh Look! Here it is!

  26. well I’m guessing she’s got the Bourbon St vote locked up

what about the rest of the state?

  27. What’s next stripper attorney generals and street walking congresswomen?
