Right now I’m listening to Corbett on WILK FM in Scranton, PA, right smack dab in the middle of Hillary Clinton territory. Corbett says that anyone who thinks Obama is leading in PA by 10 points is delusional. Both candidates are in PA right now, but Barack and Michelle are staying out of the Scranton area–I wonder why? Maybe those Hillary-billies are just too bitter and clingy for them to deal with?
As evidence that PA is really close, Corbett cites the bus trip that Ed Rendell has kicked off a bus tour to travel all over the state stumping for the Democratic ticket. Ed knows that the race in PA is tight. In addition, Bob Casey is doing a diner tour to convince Pennsylvanians to go out to the polls for Barack.
I wonder if the diner tour will bring voters’ back to those primary days when Barack just wanted to eat his waffles instead of talking to the press?
Corbett will be interviewing Sarah Palin at around 4:30 this afternoon, so if you have some time available, join me in listening to Corbett. You can stream the show here.
Fight back against the haka! Puma Up!

Now that is something we definitely do well here: fight back against the haka!
Thanks for the news, bb.
Believe me if Obama was up by 10 in PA, Obama would be somewhere else.
bb…I posted this morning on my blog about this. the media has been trying to push the meme that McCain is desperate and that’s why he is in PA. they are saying he must win it. that’s crazy, no repub has won pa since reagan, and the only reason McCain would be there is if he thinks it is close. he doesn’t need pa to win, but if he wins it the odds are he wins the whole thing. I read somewhere that kerry only won 12 counties in PA, mostly areas around the metros philly and pittsburgh. I don’t think that Obama is doing nearly as well in pittsburgh (kerry’s ketchup connection is from there I believe.) If Mac wins PA, that would be just as historic as O winning NC or VA, and he probably has a better chance.
that waffle looks yummmmmmy
MSM has everything so screwed up, voters don’t know which way is up. 🙄
Gary,
You’re so right. There is no way McCain and Palin would both be in PA right now if Obama were really way ahead. Don’t forget Obama was supposedly ahead in the primary too, and Hillary won PA by 10 points. According to Corbett, even Howard Dean is in PA today! The Dems are worried.
that waffle does look yummy….
The tax debates on earlier threads today drove me crazy. The Bush tax cuts will almost certainly expire no matter who gets elected. It’s almost inconceivable that they’ll be renewed, so it’s a moot point.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m not for tax increases, and particularly for the Marxist death tax, but there will be a tax hike even if Obama loses, which I hope he will.
bostonboomer, I think you can also surmise that they must be pretty confident about the southern states. the same article I wrote about made it sound like Obama is campaigning in the red states while mccain is trying a desperate act to take pa. I think it is the other way around, mac is trying to take pa and is secure about the southern states, and Obama is increasingly desperate to win NC and VA because there is no ther way he can win.
Remember when Patrick Murphy said Obama would win PA? How much did he lose by again?
Oh yeah, 10.
Wait 9.7 for Obots, remember when they fussed over that?
in fact the AP article I quoted flat out says that McCain needs to win PA period, otherwise he loses. that’s just a load of crap. the whole article is pure propaganda and haka all in one.

I *third* that! (yummers) 🙂
cnn just put out this report “Teen shot over vandalized McCain sign, police say” the teen was shot in the arm, by a 50 yr old man. “Bishop said the teenagers probably will not be charged — and are unlikely to damage campaign signs again, as the incident scared them.”
Yes, bostonboomer, I think the memory of BO eating waffles, bowling in his dress pants, and calling out gun owners is quite recent and fresh. If it turned off so many democrats, can you imagine how it is galvanizing republicans and independents? I thought Ironman’s point on the other thread was significant- there is no early voting in PA. Less chance for BO rallies to corral all his suppporters into coercive tactics at his rallies. More time for reflection.
Yeah, Mawm, I do remember when they fussed about it being 9.7 and NOT 10. Big effin’ deal.
Oh, I just saw the waffle picture you guys are talking about. Have to admit that is one yummy looking waffle.
I don’t like waffles.
It’s all the twisted political perspective of rationalization. Remember how Bush’s squeaker wins became “mandates” in his and his supporters’ view?
Any tiny transcient lead is inevitable unbeatable victory to these Obama folks.
Same pathology….

Buttermilk pancakes perhaps?
Nope, bacon, eggs, I am not a whole foods kinda girl. Give me some cholesterol and caffeine to start off the day.
I love homemade waffles with syrup and butter and all sorts of berries and whipped cream (the real kind, not the cool whip that kills the grass when you accidently drop it on the ground). But I like buttermilk pancakes, too.
Mawn: “Wait 9.7 for Obots, remember when they fussed over that?”
OMG. Yes I do remember that!
as if on cue, cnn joins the haka
this is nonsense. if McCain is “increasingly behind” in traditional red states like CO and VA, and he’s 10 pts behind in PA, why would he try to take PA instead of trying to retain CO and VA which would be easier? Especially given the fact that CO and VA have a higher combined total of EV’s (22) than PA does (21). this is utter hogwash.
Speaking of Ed Rendell, whatever happened to H.O.U.N.D?
Seems to me that dog wouldn’t hunt
Kim,
I’m pretty sure the Hillary-billies will be eating bacon and eggs and home fries, not Belgian waffles.
I don’t believe what they say about Virginia.
Jim Webb won by a narrow margin in 2006 because George Allen stepped in macaca and Webb is a conservative ex-marine ex-Reaganite.
myiq: Leave Eddy alone! He is all the “hound” I need.
Corbett finally endorsed McCain/Palin today. Palin should be calling in soon. I heard her giving a speech in Harrisburg earlier. She is good.
I don’t believe anyting period. plus alexander mooney, who wrote that account might as well work for the O campaign.
I don’t want any sweet pastries for breakfast. I can do bagels or croissants and fresh fruit, but please no whipped cream in the morning.
BB, we eat grits down here
new polls out this afternoon (stocks up 800 pts!) McPalin up, not by much but up, in FL, VA, OH, and PA.
I posted earlier that 8,000 people came to her Fredericksburg rally on Monday and the weather was anything but nice. We have a group going out this weekend to canvas roads with McCain signs. Hang in there gang…
Yes we do Mawm and cheese grits are fabulous.
Sarah is on with Corbett.
Sarah on now with Corbett.
bb: They finally got Diane Wilkerson. About time. She has had corruption issues in the past and they kept voting her in. Stupid. Our own version of Marion Berry.
I can only guess that ObamaNation has been up to their usual dirty tricks in VA and that’s why they think they will take it. The NAACP has already sued Tim Kaine over election readiness, as if they have a crystal ball and know what’s going to happen next week. IMO, they’re getting ready to have a hissy fit if/when VA goes red.
Well, I may have to log out early. I just got chewed out by a resident manager for having a dog in my apartment. Problem is, I don’t have a dog, nor do I live in an apartment. Seems my lovely boss, rented an apartment for his cupcake and told them it was for his paralegal. My boss and I have a few things to talk about.
I have a feeling that Pennsylvania, by a very slim margin, will go red this election. I can’t say this makes me happy, per se, but in this case I would be slightly less upset by it. Obama had a big rally in Downtown Pittsburgh yesterday. Today I saw a couple more McCain signs up, including one “Democrat for McCain.”
I only hope that Obama’s shortcomings as a candidate do not hurt downticket Democrats. I watched Congressman Tim Murphy debate his challenger, Steve O’Donnell, yesterday evening. Murphy came off as such a slimy, conniving jerk that the thought of him getting another term in office made my blood boil.
Kim, if you make it up here to chapel hill, there’s a restaurant called Crook’s Corner, that is supposed to have the best cheese grits in the south. We’ll take you out, my treat 🙂
Kim: He sure is a piece of work.
new polls out this afternoon (stocks up 800 pts!) McPalin up, not by much but up, in FL, VA, OH, and PA.
Link?
Cool. Thanks GCH, but I should be taking you out for all the work you guys have to done to further our cause.
Pat: I am almost at my breaking point. She also chastised me for being late on my rent. I don’t live there and I told her I didn’t live there. She was dumbfounded. I probably should have played along, but I have had it.
she does well on the radio
I love Sarah’s accent. It reminds me of North Dakota.
OMG, Kim that’s terrible! What a slimy boss.
Thanks for the link to WILK, bostonboomer. I’ve been meaning to listen to Corbett’s show but never got around to it.
FYI – it’s lashing down with rain here in PA and snow flurries are expected. I bet they postpone the World Series again tomorrow.
Off to read upthread now.
Consumer confidence is the worst its ever been … that’s pretty amazing
Hmmm, Corbett sounds like Danny Bonaduce, don’t you think?
20,000 showed up to Palin’s Leesburg VA rally yesterday. Wish I could’ve gone but there wasn’t enough notice to take the day off.
It is rainy and windy here and the leaves are falling from the trees like crazy and blown into my neighbor’s yard. What a shame!!!!!!!!!
johninca: don’t have one. I’ll see what I can do. Sean Hannity was reading from some of the new polls out this afternoon. I was hauling kids at the time and didn’t hear the source. But I don’t mind digging for you!!
A caller just said she heard Sarah Palin talking and at first thought she was just another caller. “She sounds like one of us.”
pat it is cold and windy even down here in NC. we should still have pretty balmy weather, but if feels like winter already.
rc– Any poll with Mc up in VA or PA would be considered a bombshell, so I’ll be on alert.
Pat,
A few days ago, the guy next door used a leaf blower to blow all of the leaves from his yard onto mine. I should have gone out at yelled at him, but I have the flu and didn’t have the strength to deal with it. Now the leaves are all wet and I still haven’t been able to pick them up.
It is only natural that consumer confidence is this low. The hospital I retired from is planning on laying off 10% of the workforce which is approximately 1,000 people. This effects families so you can multiply that number by 3 in a city of 175,000. Also, two large autodealers here in my city who have been in business for over 40 years each are closing as well.
My city government is meeting to make cuts in services. And my state is in the red so I know my property taxes will escalate as a result. So yes, consumer confidence is low.
Argh, johninca, I admire you so much that it drives me crazy when you talk about the death tax. There is no such thing. It was a name dreamed up by Grover Norquist who wanted to get the little people on his side. You wouldn’t believe how many people think that tax applies to them. People with very little money at all in their estate. But the rich don’t have the numbers to vote themselves out of this tax so they had to scare everyone into thinking they were subject to the Estate tax too.
It would be very helpful for all of us playing in this sandbox if we stopped using words crafted by the Frank Luntz types to sell unpopular concepts to voters. So, let’s dispose of the “death tax” and call the estate tax what it is: a means by which we prevent a moneyed aristocracy. There’s nothing wrong with being wealthy. What we want to prevent is the taxation of work but not investment. Reward Joe the Plumber not Paris Hilton.
God, this place is like a breath of fresh air. I just spent the long weekend with Obot relatives going through my mother’s estate. I have not been online since Friday and had to endure an enraged rant from one of my brothers attacking me for being a PUMA. He insisted that PUMAs are “nothing”, so few in number that we are meaningless, but the anger and visciouness was telling. Why the anger if we will have no impact?
I just wanted to say thank you all for your dedication, support, and patriotism. It’s great to be back home again.
Most people are sick to death of watching CEO’s walk off with huge golden parachutes while their companies fold and the workforce is left holding the bag. I am all for anyone legitimately making money, Bill Gates is one who comes to mind, it is the sleazy practices that allow millionaires to be made while the rest of us suffer.
Spreading the wealth should not be mistaken for the illegal activities of those who have managed to game the system and walking away without penalties.
Most of us are looking for a sound business plan that will prevent these disasters from happening as we are experiencing now. We are paying triple for the outrages perpetrated via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
martha stewart just said she was for Obama on Fox, maybe she and rezko could get together and starta Felons For Obama club

As soon as I read your comment, I realized that all this time I had a mental image of Danny B in my head while listening to Corbett!

Why not, the list of felons on the voters rolls in Florida are celebrating.
bb: The sound of a leaf blower drives me right out of my head. I have to do it the old fashioned way: rake. They are out there today in a wet abundance. Yikes!
RD,
When they start taxing your 401 k and spreading your wealth around, let me know how you feel then. They can do it, if they get a filibuster proof majority.
Politico admits mcCain is getting hosed in the press, but among the many explanations why this should be OK: Obama’s campaign is like W!

“October 16, 2008
House Democrats Contemplate Abolishing 401(k) Tax Breaks
Powerful House Democrats are eyeing proposals to overhaul the nation’s $3 trillion 401(k) system, including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.
House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller, D-California, and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, are looking at redirecting those tax breaks to a new system of guaranteed retirement accounts to which all workers would be obliged to contribute.”
Steven Corbett is ruining the good work he’s been doing by putting that motherf@#&ing, c@#&sucking, wife cheating, corrupt Rudy Giuliani on.
I can’t bear to listen to that creep.
In honor of Barbara West, who in the Biden interview quoted from the Communist Manifesto, I’d like to quote some policies advocated by Marx as well:
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance…
I must have retired just in time since my 401K and pension from having worked about 30 years was pretty darn good. Had I postponed it another year, as my boss had requested, I would have lost at least 20%. Not that I am rich by any means, but at least I have enough to see me through and my house is free and clear. It is the darn property tax that keeps climbing while services are being cut which impacts.
The estate tax only applies to the top 5%. There is no death tax.
MA Blue: I loathe Rudy and the thought that he could possibly have come this close to a nomination was scary. People fell all over that crook’s schtick and were willling to overlook his astonishing lack of morals. Thank God they went with McCain. He is at least a bona fide hero.
johninca: can’t find it (hate when I can’t find something) but he was reading from some report… it’s probably better if we all just assume we’re 10 pts down.
RD: the death tax affects me and I’m no were near rich. Most states that we’ve lived in factor in retirement accts, property and life insurance. I live in NoVA and housing hear is through the roof (even with the fall) and with small children we have quite a bit of insurance because of the nature of our employment. We had to factor the death tax into preparing our wills. Surprised the hell out of me cuz we’re not even close to O’s $250,000
dakinikat, I think Martha is for Obama because Trump is for McCain.
I wonder if the McCain camp figures that the story is out there now, even if the LATimes refuses to release it. We will probably make it even worse on our heads. Maybe Obama will have to ask for it to be released.
birdgal, I heard the rumors.
I’m poor, and will probably die poor, but will never ask a politician to take 55% from Riverdaughter or anyone else and give it to me– because unlike our government, I’m not a thief.
Excuse me, but why have you not written a retraction of the story about the woman who claimed an Obama supporter carved a B on her face? Considering the amount of bile you guys spewed about it and all….
I liken this election to the Second Revolutionary War and we MUST WIN to save our country!
Great Britain (Obama) with its larger and better trained army and navy (i.e., endless campaign funds and groups like acorn) launched a huge land and sea effort to crush the revolution. However, they had to transport and supply its army across the Atlantic Ocean (from the East coast to the West coast of the U.S.). As the war continued, the British won many battles but gained little from their victories. The American patriots (i.e., McPalin’s Army of supporters) always formed new forces and continued the fight to final victory in November 2008.
McCain/Palin 2008!
There’s only one election race I would put money on and that’s Mark Warner vs. Gilmore. The polls have been all over the place with Obama vs. McCain.
Mountain Sage
LOL, Mountain Sage. Yep. I’d put money on that one too. Warner will win by a large margin. I’ll be voting for him and Judy Feder, both downticket dems, but McPalin at the top of the ticket.
obama is too much of an effete snob to be a marxist

Most tyrants and authoritarian rulers live in the lap of luxury. Even Fidel in his palace while wearing his rebel uniform is not immune for the benefits of surrounding oneself with as much luxury as they can grab.
A caller from NH is saying that there are a lot of Hillary signs still up in NH with McCain/Palin signs right next to them. He heard Hillary speak in NH today. She was campaigning for Jean Shaheen for Senate and didn’t have much to say about Obama at all. Interesting.
I posted on the last thread:
Obama to have a spread the wealth speech to convince America…”We have tried Capitalism and look where it got us….Socialism for real Change”
Oh I almost walked into Republican Headquarters today…Almost….what stopped me?
Vote Yes on Amendment 2…Thank God/des I am still a Democrat!

The last thing I want is a fillibuster proof senate. We need divided government.
Government in the hands of one party is very scary.
I thought it was interesting she pointed out it would not help Obama. I wonder if others have written similar replies.

I am voting for women only I have become a vaginally challanged Gynocrat!
fuzzy, so is her competitor, so no conflict with %30 solution.
Yeah, Rudy is a creep. I lowered the volume.
kind of random and off topic, but I just wanted to say thanks to this, sites like it, and all the people who are supporting this effort to defeat “that one” and the impending disaster he brings with him. It is really cool to see both sides unite for a common goal, sure some of you are “libs” and some of you are “repubs”, whatever, I don’t really care about all that. I just think it’s pretty frickin’ sweet to see people who would normally not be within a million feet of each other fighting for what is right regardless of what side or party they claim. I though barry was supposed to be the one who did this? I thought he was the great uniter and the hope and change and blah blah blah, evidently that’s just one more lie to chalk up to the hype. This is just one more reason I love this country and its people, when the times get tough we always seem to band together for the common good no matter what background, or ideology, or whatever. I think barry underestimated that, and I hope it comes out on the 4th in such a remarkable way that his career is completely crushed. (one can dream right?) Thanks for letting me post and for all you all do.
johninca — hate to break this to you, but Marx was talking about feudal inheritance rights, which have been abolished in almost all Western countries for quite a while now.
Plus, Marx was pretty much right in much of his theoretical analysis, in light of the times he was writing in. He just had no talent for workable remedies. His was really a political and social agenda, not an economic one (Das Kapital notwithstanding).
myiq — HOUND went off the air (web) shortly after Ed created it. Less than a month. The HOUND page on the PA Dems site disappeared entirely.
The tax cuts versus raised taxes discussion is fascinating and important, but it’s a bit academic now, since whoever is president will have to raise taxes to pay off the trillion dollar giveaway to Wall St., not to mention all the money that already went to keep AIG and Fannie and Freddie afloat, plus very possibly to keep Detroit afloat, and of course, the monthly bill on Iraq and likely escalating bill on Afghanistan. I’d love to use that money for UHC, better education, and a better social safety net, but that’s not happening. Obama isn’t going to lift a finger to actually implement ANY program he’s talked about in the past year. I don’t think it matters whether Biden’s saying 200k or 150k or $1.50 as the income floor on tax increases. We’re ALL going to be paying for money already spent.
doesnt matter which party! woman should rule the world fewer wars and more healthcare…
that rudy site is a blast … i’m suprised some publisher isn’t on that guy to write a book
Is her competitor Liddy Dole?
I have serious problems with liddy dole! Mawm but at least she isnt MR Evil Jesse Helms!
Martha is a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, and held big fund-raisers for Dems before the prision thing. Some of us thought that was part of the reason she was targeted, but that’s speculation of a legal sort.
Oprah has also been very supportive of Martha, both BP and AP.
Lets line up all Obama Multi Millionares and take all there money over say $ 1 million and put in a spread the wealth fund….I can get behind that!

Death tax- Isn’t that code for Paris Hilton needs to buy another diamond collar for Fido so puhlease don’t take her inherited money away? There are exemptions before the government starts taxing. I have no problem with the government taxing the Paris Hiltons of the world.
Mawm…what is Liddy Doles stand on LGBT rights?
We really need an American Progressive Party…Dont you think?
MABlue; That Harding column has me itching for more. That whole club of Rudy Lovers must have been something in itself. And this guy is determined to get even. Can’t wait for the Judith stories to come out. Stay tuned!
Remember it was the Bush justice dept. that pursued Martha Stewart and eventually put her in jail. If I were her I wouldn’t be voting for any Republicans either. But as I’ve said before, endorsements mean NOTHING.NADA.ZIP.ZILCH. An endorsement WILL NOT change anyone’s mind about who they’re going to vote for. So I wish they would just stop with the stupid endorsements.
I want my old and pure Democratic Party back!
My sister lives on NH coast and she says it is awash in Obama love, lovely homes plastered with huge black/white pictures framed in bright red. I said, well, that old joke about black & white and re[a]d all over might very applicable to Obama.
Mawm, the one phone call I received this year (I finally picked up because they were calling non-stop) was from Emily’s List. I told her flat out that, no, they could not expect my support because I refuse to support any organization that backs the sexism and misogyny coming from the Obama campaign. She didn’t say anything. Nothing. I sure hope they’ve received that response more than once.
My husband declined doing a sound gig this weekend to benefit Obama. And I’m thinking why the hell does Obama need more freakin’ money!
griffithinc: I disagree. Just waiting to hear who Michael Jackson is supporting before I make my decision. I live for these endoresements since I know full well these celebs know more than I do.
♥♥ for Pat!
gxm: Your husband should have done the gig, but somehow forgot to plug in the system. Poor Barky no PA. And yes, why the hell does he need more money. Where the hell is all this money coming from?
Dolly Parton likes Sarah, and that’s a pretty good endorsement. Seriously. I very much admire Dolly Parton on many levels.

johninca — hate to break this to you, but Marx was talking about feudal inheritance rights, which have been abolished in almost all Western countries for quite a while now.
Hey, I didn’t know that Fidel Castro was following this blog. This may sound “feudal” too, but I really think he should be calling a priest and making an act of contrition instead of telling us what Marx really said.
Parentofed: Of course I love Dolly! Who in TN doesn’t? But her endorsement wouldn’t make me vote for anyone. It would be cool if Dolly would appear w/Sarah though. That would be awesome.
Going home gang. Keep up the good work.
PUMAS RULE!!!!!
edgeoforever: Hysterical piece! Loving the squirm coming from Kos. Couldn’t happen to a better group of people.
What is more disturbing though is the LA Times reluctance to release that tape. This is not reporting as I once knew it. Shameful. And they wonder why the printed press is losing readers. Wow!
I missed the tape story, Pat. What’s that about?
griffithinc: When we moved to NC, we sold our grand piano and now only harpsicord hubby built for the church. Whenever I keep him waiting, he starts tinkling on the darn thing. He’s playing at a fever pitch right now, so I’d better go……
johninca — I have no idea what you’re on about now.
katiebird: There is a tape as it has been confirmed by the LA Times itself, that has Obama praising some professor who has ties to supporting Al Qaeda. They refuse to release it. O’Reilly called them on it last night but they are holding firm on the specious grounds of “privacy”. The tape may be the bombshell everyone has expected because it apparently shows Obama speaking warmly about this guy who has been accused of supporting terrorists.
sent this to hilpac just to raise the hairs on the back of their necks:
To Whom it may concern,
I am sorry I have no reserve funds for the Democratic Party at this time. I cannot take a chance that some of this money will go to support Barak Obama. I have pledged not to support Barak Obama or see he sees one cent onf my money. Mr Obama stole the nomination from Hillary Clinton! I do not reward bad behavior. I am actively working to defeat him in Florida on November 4th!
I have heard that Barak Obama is requiring all contributions for down ticket Democrats be funneled through Obama for America. He takes a cut and if their is anything left it goes to the Down ticket Candidates. I am making sure every Democrat knows this is going on since I have had no Denial from the Democratic Party. I find it appaling! So until Mr Obama is no longer a factor in the Democratic Party my Wallet is closed.
I look forward to resuming our political relationship after Mr Obama is sent back to The Senate of th US to complete his one term.

Hey everyone did you see how the stocks rallied today.
The polls are close and the stocks rally. And they say it isn’t related.
I said it about a month ago, if BZero can’t win PA, he can’t win — it’s as simple as that. We continue to get hit over the head about VA, Webb, a Repub who happens to run Dem, won VA by 9,000 votes even after macaca. It is going to be tight, but the late deciders who won’t break for BZero are going to decide this election.
The other point is this: BZero has spent more on advertising than Geico on that cockney lizard and Diet Coke. If it is still a contest after that, what does that tell us about up to 10% of late deciders.
Puma Up folks with the battle cry of “Remember New Hampshire!”
anyone on the ground in Virginia? I wonder how that state is going to go. To be fair, although I am sure McCain can win PA, he also needs to take VA and NC

If you want to defend Marx, the place for you is on a Democratic congressional ticket, but first you have to win a primary– or, as we learned this year, steal one.
I just want to go to bed and pull the covers up over my head until November 5th. At that time, should I wake to a McCain win, I will celebrate. If not, all you seers who told me that he could not possibly pull this off, get ready for an “unannounced visit”. And don’t bother to hide. I will be equipped with a GPS system, Mapquest, and a box of Depends!
“Goddamn America!” Lovely sentiment.

I caught a quick blurb on Fox about the possibility that McCain may win the electoral vote and lose the popular vote, a la Bush.
Didn’t catch the entire thing so I don’t know the scenario they were using.
Grail Guardian’s important post is now up…I just posted it at 6 pm ET. It is full of disturbing information that people need to know about!!

“I Demand More Than Your Vote–I Want Your Mind!!”–A Call to Boycott Obama’s Media Buy (10/29)

“Maybe those Hillary-billies are just too bitter and clingy for them to deal with?”
Maybe.
Fredster: this time, I think it would be poetic justice. We can run around screaming – teh math!
I think the VA poll reports are haka. I just don’t see it. There are certainly pockets that will go for Obama but overall the state is on the conservative side. In my Loudoun County neighborhood there are 3 McCain/Palin yard signs that I pass regularly and one Obama sign.
My husband has served on Dem committees and plans to vote McPalin because he’s so disgusted by the sexism and misogyny. He finally had enough last week and said that’s it, no protest vote for McKinney, he’s going to vote against Obama.
And the NAACP just sued Gov. Kaine, a Democrat who endorsed Obama, so I’m guessing ObamaNation is already setting up it’s defeat strategy and getting ready to cry foul if/when Virginia goes red.
I see McCain with n electorial vote and popular vote win popular vote by 1.5-4.5 million all Hillacrats all PUMA Proud!
Pat shall I bake cookies for you unannounced visit?
Martha didn’t endorse O per se. Cavuto said “You’re for O, right?” and she said “Yes” and that was about it.
NV Swing Voter posted a link re an exit poll of 7,147 early nevada voters on the previous thread which is very, very interesting. PUMAS should read it all.
Poll shows Obama has slim lead over McCain
http://www.lvrj.com/news/33433079.html
some of you said you didn’t like this kind of exit polling, but it was done by a Dem who himself ran unsuccessfully for a senate seat.
BO, according to this guy’s large survey, only won 50 to 48 for mccain, but:
“62 percent of Clark County voters were Democrats, while 23 percent were Republicans and the rest nonpartisans or members of minor parties. Through Sunday, 55 percent of early voters were Democrats, 29 percent Republicans.
Of all registered voters in Clark County, 47 percent are Democrats and 32 percent are Republicans.
In Washoe County, 51 percent of the early voters through Sunday were Democrats, while 33 percent were Republicans.”
if this guy’s survey is true for the bulk of early votes, then surely this is precisely the PUMA effect we all know to be real and rarin’ to go on nov 4.
please correct me if i’ve misunderstood anything in this article.
Ah, well — it would be wrong to let news influence an election. Wouldn’t it?
My Question who will Obama for AmeriKa sue when sue loses? Puma Pac or the Confluence or No Quarter or possibly JSND?
Come on people lets get this video out there in which Obama calls Wright a great man.
It can spoil his 30 minute ad tomorrow, if this is what everyone is reporting.
I have a bunch of flyers, and It’s been nagging me for a week what to do with them legally.
I’m driving home from work and I realize, I have 90% small businesses in my area and city.
I’ll get up early Sat and Sun and stick them in the doors they have to open to get in.
I never never realized the SMALL businesses in this area are really the ECONOMY here.
GO McCAIN/PALIN and most of all. Joe the Plumber.
high katiebird how are you…
I thought Fidel Castro died. Did I miss something?
Maybe I dreamed it.
Hi, FuzzyBear! I’m doing OK. I just had leap out of my chair and across the room to shut off Katie Couric. I could have broken a leg — but it was worth the risk.
I keep remembering that 4 years ago we were SO certain that Kerry would win. He had Virginia all wrapped up.
All that taught me is that we won’t know anything until election night. too many people make up their minds when they’re actually in the voting booth for us to know for sure.
I keep telling myself not to worry: I don’t actually want either guy to win.
BB, I think he’s better now.
Why is this election even close?
a) This is the year of the Democrat, even a baboon running with a (D) behind his name is favored to win against any (R)
b) The press is entirely an organ of the Obama campaign
c) In thin election cycle, Obama has spent at least $300 mio more than McCain
d) The seating Republican Republican POTUS has a 20% approval rate
Again, why do we have a close race?
GaryCH, is that the Crook’s that has a large pig-on-a-stick sign (maybe the sign is gone)? We used to go there when I was in grad school there in the late 80’s. It was good.
gary and Kim – you better be bring NC. Get to work.
gary – I love your new site. The Electric Blues is beautiful.
For O to win VA, he will have had to have registered and be able to get every AA person to the polls. As mentioned upthread, Webb barely won and he is the centrist, guns and God type of Dem that Virginians will vote for. AA’s had no reason to show up and vote for him so that could be the difference.
I love Johnny salivating over Sarah!
Fuck you Obots or whatever your names are!
LOLOLOLLLLLLLLL!!!!!
I’m promising you FL! Red as a tomato.
All good questions MABlue
OMG – MSNBC is saying there is no chemistry between Johnny and Sarah. These are sick f*cks.
I hope people here are right about VA. Although I will say one thing, if VA was already in the bag for BO, he wouldn’t be campaigning there. That’s for sure.
I live in Florida. I turned in my absentee ballot today, with a vote for McPalin. First time ever voting for a Republican. This is a Repub county. Lines to vote were long.
Tim’s a good guy.
Ana, and BO wouldn’t be inundating us with ads. It’s freakin’ non-stop here in VA.
Carol, Well, I guess it’s nothing like the chemistry between BO and Tweety.
johninca — there are no inheritance rights anymore, except for spouses in some states. There are only defaults for people who die intestate.
Besides, pushing death tax haka is pretty far from anything Marx had to say. There are lots of good reasons to be against Obama, but this Marx-Obama connection you’re trying to make is about as valid as “Marx begins with an ‘M’ and Obama has an ‘M’ in his name! Oh noes! He’s a socialist!”

Some quotes in that ‘Rev. Wright is GREAT’ video, Obama also stated SOMETHING like this: “In times of economic scarcity, generally, the politicians in this country want to look for scapegoats, want to organize around race as apposed to around principles and around values, and I think that’s a mistake but I think that can be encountered by grass roots mobilization, work at a local level…”
I replayed the video and tried to type at the same time; a few words (not significant; like ‘today’, etc.) may be missing here or there, but the quote is pretty close (for those who don’t want to bother listening to the video. BUT, the video IS interesting; Obama ALWAYS talks about ‘race’) Wonder if his ‘grass roots’ and ‘local level’ means organizations like ACORN?

Katie,
I’m glad he’s better, but as far as I know he handed over the reins of power to his brother. I guess I just don’t understand why we need all this “marxist” and “socialist” talk. There is no one like that running for POTUS. What we have is moderate Republican against Reagan Democrat.
Myiq: that’s the only way to go, really. By the time the grace period’s up on your credit card, the economy will have totally collapsed and you won’t have to pay it back anyway. Obama is not a socialist – he’s an opportunist, a parasite that feeds on whatever host will bring him up the ladder aka sociopathic demagogue Neofascist.
gxm, I’m in Fairfax and there are plenty of McCain signs here. I’m thinking NoVA will not be blue enough to turn the state, but the DC volunteers are coming in to help with the GOTV effort fot BO.
Also, I got called by Emily’s List also, and gave them an earful. Also by NARAL, NOW and just today by some college kid asking for money for BO so they could serve coffee to people waiting in line at the polls.
Urge-Ha! Keep the CHUMP change!
JohnboyNNJ thanks for the video, but the part I don’t get is that we always see these video of Obama supporters at McCain rallies, never the other way around. I don’t blame McCain supporters, they are trying to go and show support for their candidate, and then they get bombarded with this crap, I would be annoyed and upset as well.
Tweety just said a McCain insider called Sarah a “whack job”!
They should immediately demand the name of that person from him and make him put up or shut up. I am sick of the “insiders”. That’s a f*cking lie.
I’m cool with having a strategic alliance with the GOP to defeat Obama, but I HAVE ASOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN JOINING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
If they want to talk strategy, fine, but if they want to argue policy they came to the wrong place.
The Confluence was created as a place of refuge from Obama propaganda. We don’t want any GOP propaganda either.

Hi, Fuzzy — I just did! Thanks.
I’d NEVER register Republican at this point. I am pro choice, I don’t get any one who argues against gay marriage at all, I strongly support progressive income taxes and think sales taxes should be abolished. I totally think privatizing social security is a horrid idea. I support a single payer, government sponsored health insurance program … do I need to continue forward to prove my liberal credentials?
thanks did you remove it katiebird?
myiq – wash off the paint and powder. I recognize a Republican when I see one. You are just a misguided one.
I don’t want to demonize Republicans. I don’t think they are stupid or evil.
After the election maybe we can have arrange some debates and discussions on issues.
But right now I am down to my last nerve and the people pushing GOP talking points are getting on it.
I almost entered Alachua County Republican HQ….but the vote yes on amendment 2 sign on the door stopped me I cant support that.

xax: if you have money you can hire a ghost writer to follow you around and just create a book based on the vibe and blather
I’m in Pittsburgh and have been comparing the yard signs to what we had in 2004…then I believe Kerry was up double-digits at this late stage, and the signs in my area (S Hills, primarily white, mid-upper class, Jewish) were about 50-50 Kerry-Bush. NOw it’s predominantly McCain. Near where I live, during the primaries, it was wall-to-wall Hillary. People left their signs up for months.
Interestingly you often see yards with 2-3 signs for down-ticket Dems, but no Obama sign. Or down-tick Dems, and a McCain sign.
It’s a startling difference from 2004. I have a hard time believing Obama is as far ahead here as most polls suggest. One union working Dem was quoted in the paper this week saying “We’ve always voted Dem. Republican was a swear-word in my house. I”m voting McCain.”
Strange times.
Carol I am not a republican by BF was but that was just so he could vote for David Duke in the 80’s to embarras the republican party by having a grand dragon running as their LA governor…..then he changed to democrat…when he came back to florida!

fuzzy: the only thing Obama for Amerika sue outta me is my bank’s toxic assets in my name

The time to debate the issues is after the election in my opinion. The GOP trolls have a better shot of seeing snowballs in Hades then convincing me that I am wrong to be pro choice. They should be happy though. The fact that Obama and his cabal stole the primary is enough for me to put aside my feelings on the GOP’s “family values” and vote McCain Palin anyway.
I don’t see the Republicans here pushing anything,
Is there a secret tunnel around here, I don’t know about.
I get the UNITY thing, and that’s OK, NO DEAL,
But where is all this propaganda, I’m reading here????
Where’s the TUNNEL—-I get this feeling every once in a while, you guys see things, we all don’t see.
Am I right—I should say READ—-
many people credit david dukes winning of the republican primary as the result of thousands of gays and african americans changing their party affiliation to vote for him so the republicans would have to back him in the GE….
I still can’t figure out how tweetie still has a job … he’s ratings have to be way below sealevel
I was joking. Calm down everyone. At this point I really don’t think claiming to be either party is such a good idea.
MSNBO is saying there’s a lack of chemistry between McCain and Palin? I wouldn’t bring up the subject of chemistry if I were MSNBO, since most of America wonders about the chemistry between Tweety and Bush, also Tweety and Obama. Some kinda hormones talking there.
Carol, I think with tension so high, we need some smiley faces or <snark> tags — I know I’m holding back the hysterics and I’d hate to take it out on someone who’s just trying for a laugh.

Ugh. I just wandered into the MSM online–I haven’t done that in a long time, and sure enough I got sucked into a comments section for an hour, responding to the limitless pit of ignorance. The “New Thing” in the media is their transparent defense of media bias. Last night, it was John King, and today Politico got in the act. Their argument: it’s the McCain’s campaign’s fault, because they have done a poor job. You see, they are giving him negative reports, because they are just MIRRORING his poor campaign! Seriously. They didn’t actually CREATE that impression, they are just reporting what they see, and since McCain IS doing a bad job, that’s what they write about…it’s useless. They are blind and/or lying, and it’s not going to stop. I came running back here for sanity.

The only way you will get them to see the err of their ways is to talk with them. I always like to ask the men who seem to fear homosexuality who exactly they feel will be switching over their Playboy subscriptions to Playgirl and hitching up with a male if we were to allow gays to marry. I also am quick to point out that if someone else’s marriage effects your marriage so darn much you have a pretty poor marriage to begin with. My neighbors business is their own and my marriage is between hubby, I (and God).
I also thought Carol was joking

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but Hillbuzz did a post about the PA race too.
Tonight we spoke with a friend from Hillary Clinton’s campaign who is now working for McCain/Palin — and is specifically working with Democrats for McCain in Pennsylvania. We worked with her in Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for Hillary and have spent many LONG hours with her in the trenches in all of those states. She’s smart, doesn’t BS, and never lies.
She says the same thing we do: John McCain will win Pennsylvania.
On November 4th, the news networks are going to be spinning and sputtering and playing catchup, but everything we see on the ground in PA is what we saw during the primaries: Obama has no shot of winning the Keystone State.
Here is specifically what we talked about tonight: never in any of our careers have any of us ever seen members of one party switching sides and voting for the other party as we see in this election with Democrats for McCain. There has never been anything like it. Not even the “Reagan Democrats” who voted for Reagan over Carter, for the simple fact that these “Reagan Democrats” weren’t identified and labeled until AFTER the election.
No, Democrats for McCain are real, are voting for McCain right now, and are open and organized, as well as self-identifying. Lynn Rothschild might be our poster gal, as one of the most prominent of our ranks, but it’s telling that everyone from Team Hillary that we know now works for McCain. ALL OF US. Whether they are open about it, like we are, or are working quietly behind the scenes, we can’t think of a single person we worked with on a daily basis for Hillary who is now working on behalf of Obama.
Here’s an interesting take on the unions. Big Brother thuggery sometimes gets its just reward in the privacy of the voting booth.
Union members repeatedly tell all of us that they are lying to pollsters because the unions have been polling these people — and the unions will threaten people’s jobs if they don’t tow the union line. So, the people lie when asked whom they are supporting. But, the unions can’t control who they vote for on Election Day. And that’s when things are going to get interesting.
What’s happening here that’s not being reported is that “Reagan Democrats” who vote Republican whenever they feel that Democrats are out of touch, socialist, or too liberal are voting for McCain…and these people are being joined by PUMAs, DeMcCrats for McCain, Hillocrats, whatever you want to call them, who don’t like or trust Obama and who believe McCain/Palin would address the wants and needs of centrist Democrats much better than Obama ever would.
You can believe pollsters (who wrongly predicted the Obama v. Hillary contest) or you can believe the Democrats on the ground who worked with the voters and volunteers in the primary and who are with them today.
In Pennsylvania, we are not alone.
The same people who ran the board for us in the primary — who assured us daily that the polls the media was pushing were wrong in claiming Obama would beat Clinton in PA — tell us on a daily basis that McCain is going to win Pennsylvania. There’s a damn good chance this won’t even be close, if what people are seeing on the ground right now holds, and is indicative of the whole state.
DEMOCRATS are staffing McCain offices across the state. DEMOCRATS are phone banking and canvassing for McCain. DEMOCRATS are raising large sums to fund this last week of campaigning.
DEMOCRATS.
This has NEVER happened before — and the media is ignoring it. The media consistently claims that Obama enjoys the support of 85% of Democrats, versus only 80% of Republicans who supposedly are supporting McCain. We call BS on all of this — we’d say 90% of Republicans are supporting McCain, and 65-70% of Democrats are actually supporting Obama. At least that’s the case in Pennsylvania, and in Ohio too. Our mission this next week is to reach out to every Democrat we can and let them know it’s okay to vote Republican this year — because the Republican is the better choice. . . .
We do not believe Obama will carry Pittsburgh or Harrisburg in PA. He’ll win Philly, but not by the large margin he needs to take the state. You’ve heard Governor Ed Rendell is “worried” about Obama’s chances in Pennsylvania. That is an understatement. Obama will lose a state that hasn’t gone red in generations.
The thing is poor people would see zip of that Obama shared wealth. Did his constituents in Chicago see any freaking wealth? They couldn’t even get any heat while Barry partied down with their slum lord. a Barry POTUS would follow the same model ….just on steroids
thanks dakinikat! we always agree on economics and I wasnt educated under the tutelage of John Maynard Keyens….

Gary and Mawm: I never ate at Crook’s in CH, but I ate at Dot’s and it was very good home cooking.
I also ate at Foster’s [Sara Foster, the former catering co-owner with Martha] and it was a thoroughly wretched experience. I never saw so much young angst in my life; they were so surly and rude as hell that I wrote a letter of complaint to the company. I bet that place is Obot Creepy right now. Yuck. I got a letter of apology, but I never went back.
Also ate at this fabulous Italian restaurant on that back road behind CH, can’t remember the name of road/restaurant at the minute.
Well, I’m a moderate but I am most definitely a Democrat at heart, even though I cannot return to my former party unless and until the cancer that is Obama and the current DNC leadership have been excised.
Two things: I heard on the radio this morning that in NC, polls show the two candidates a hair’s breadth apart, but 19% of Democrats who voted early voted for McCain.
I took a drive around my neighborhood just now and saw a boatload of McCain/Palin signs, and only two Obama signs. I took that as a good sign.
Pa is the Key not Ohio or florida they are red that is why Obambi is not fighting there he knows the are lost…if the MSM doesnt call PA for Obama within 15 minutes of the polls closing we will know that there is something afoot.
See I believe they will try to pull an indiana on mccainin PA because see when pa closes the polls will still be open in the midwest and mountian timezone and the pacific….a big red wave early on could depress obama votes in NM and CO so dont besuprized if PA OH and FL are put in to close to Call for longer than necessary to help BO.
How can these ridiculous polls claim double digit leads for Obama across the country if Gallup is now Obama +2, Zogby is at +4, and IBD is between 2.8-4? It’s not rocket science.
I’m telling ya, if McCain pulls this out it will be the biggest punch in the face to the media AND the polling industry. They will never regain their credibility. I.would.love.that.
fif: wow, that says a lot… i feel things on the ground are completely different from what I hear on the news too–afrocity was here last night saying she was calling into Iowa and getting tons of support for Mac/Palin … media says Iowa is going blue also…
when I was calling Texas for Hillary and Penn for Hillary in the spring, I could tell that she was going to win those just from all those phone calls
Eddy is moving to Republican. He doesn’t want to go to jail with the rest of the Democrats when Johnny and Sarah start naming names and sending people up the river for the financial crisis. He is going to bring home PA for McCain. His hound is no longer barking against the PUMAS. He knows we were right. He has had the courage to let the truth leak out even if he has had to retract.

Carol could you at least entertain the idea of my ne American Progressive Party? I am done with the democrats if they dont de obamafy after november 4th.
Aw, man! It’s not enough y’all were talking about awesome breakfast foods (eggs, cheese grits and biscuits… yum), but now I’m envisioning poor fuzzy missing out on a lovely cut of grilled heaven because of The One.
Consider this a cyber-hug, fuzzy.
My neighbor just returned my husbands huge Obama “Had Enough” magnetic sign that fell off his truck. There are only two Dems in our entire neighborhood and he was relieved when I told him I voted McCain/Palin. (He said the thing most of the neighbors hated was the “Had Enough”.) Then he started in about taxes, blah, blah, blah –
I almost regretted my vote. I had to tell him I’m still a Democrat. Mine was merely a symbolic protest vote.
“We want to make sure every voter heading into the voting booth knows exactly what Barack Obama would do to bring about fundamental change as president,” campaign spokesman Bill Burton said.
Hasn’t Obama been talking, and talking, and talking for friggin’ MONTHS?! What can he possibly say in yet another speech that people have not already heard? What does that say about his ability to connect to people, after all this time and money–he now needs an uninterrupted half hour? It could be a new form of torture in the post-9/11 era: unending Obama loops. I’d surely spill everything I knew just to make it stop!
well, i’d like to have two things vindicated in this election:
the first is that you can’t buy the BIG office and the second is that you can’t fool the majority of america
sorry new American Progressive Party….
Dakinikat…I loved economics I took it in the 80’s so it was all milton friedman and keynes was out of style. I believe he was treated wrongly because of the way his govt spen save cycles were missrepresented by the dems….
see in good times govts should runn surpluses so that in the bad times govt could run deficits and “prime the economic pump” I think that is good public policy.

The “New Thing” in the media is their transparent defense of media bias. Last night, it was John King, and today Politico got in the act.
——————-
Fif, isn’t it the most pitiful thing you ever did see? Fluffer hacks defending their own… that Politio bs doesn’t even ackowledge that this did NOT begin in the general when BO ran against McCain.
They were pulling BO’s cart from the very get-go, and then they have the nerve to slime everyone else’s campaign as negative. Ugh. Liars. Liars!
poe, that restaurant you described could be most eateries here. this is obot hell.
julie, I hadn’t heard that about early voting, that’s great news. there’s no way he can win with numbers like that. I don’t listen to the radio going to and from work anymore because I can’t take the non stop obama commercials.
OMG – even if I supported O I think I’d be sick of the non-stop Obamarama every-freaking-where! I swear, I hear about all this negative campaigning that McCain is doing, but considering that Obama’s got almost a total buyout of my state, I wouldn’t know what the hell McCain is doing because I hear nothing but Obama, Obama, Obama! (And Elizabeth Dole).
Gary – I was shocked as hell when I heard it. It was during our local news cut-in during Bob and Sheri. And it got repeated every half hour, so I know I wasn’t hallucinating. I was so stoked!
I am neither party. I vote for who I think will do the best job. Honor and Integrity will be my guide from this day forward. People who have made real sacrifice are the top of the list for me.
CAROL HAKA 👿
gary the tuesday night dinner I host for steak night is going on now I am not there and I have not had one call from my friends asking me why….guess they dont miss me!
I cannot believe how exclusive you have to be to be in club Obama….you have to sever all social ties too to prove your total alliegance to the one….
Will we be so exclusive to these idiots when they want to come home to Hillary in 2012?
I hope we are biigger people than they are on November 5th and beyond!
They were pulling BO’s cart from the very get-go, and then they have the nerve to slime everyone else’s campaign as negative. Ugh. Liars. Liars!
alice: and then in the comments you can see the effect of it, because one person after another talks about how “negative” the McCain campaign is, and poor baby Bawack has been mistreated. A friend of mine who only reads left-leaning periodicals like The Nation, The Atlantic etc. listened as I described the truth about Obama yet again, and then said…
“What about the hate rallies?”
What f*cking “hate rallies?!” The ones created by the media in their sordid minds? What about Obama’s army of haters? We’ve been listening to them for months, and not a peep about the vicious Obots, the misogyny and rac*-baiting. It’s infuriating.
fuzzy: the middle path is always the most prudent path!
speaking of Biden , someone should ask him if Patti Solis Davis IS indeed his Chief of Staff? Remember Barry hired her for VP chief of Staff?? When all it was was a big FU to Hill .
You know what, I have no idea what Joe Biden is talking about–ever.
julie, that’s funny, I listen to bob and sheri too! I always make it until the first commercial break and when the obama commercial comes on I turn it down for the rest of the ride. sometimes I make it all the way to 540 🙂

Regency – You AND Joe Biden.
Obama’s been talking, but he had to limit his time because of the moderators [not much, all the moderators let him drone on] and by McCain. He likes the stage all to himself. Obama has talked his way into good situations and out of unfavorable situations his whole life. He’s never accomplished anything but talk. It’s always worked before, of course he thinks it will work now. It’s just a new audience to schmooze.
I love a good breakfast crepe- filled with chese shrimp crab and lobster….coverd with more cheese and and asparagas.
fuzzy, you can always come visit me and mawm. 🙂
Gary – you’ve gotta do a NC road trip and pick up all the NC PUMA’s if all goes well next Tuesday! My morning job starts at 5 so I usually get to hear the whole Bob and Sheri show. And yeah, the commercials drive me nuts.
I just saw an AOL poll (???) and it showed McCain creaming O. O’Reilly said that polls he’s seen have called it a dead heat at this point
But what do they know?

Great point. It’s Barry’s go to in all situations .

All I know is I’m bringing a case of champagne!
I read last week that Dem. John Murtha, powerful Ways and Means chairman, is behind by 5 points. That would be a big blow to Dems in the House.
Perhaps Murtha regrets calling western Pennsylvannians ‘racists’. Tried cleaning up by calling them ‘rednecks’.
Those bitter, clinging, racists, rednecks got payback on their minds…perhaps.
That would be awesome Gary!
Fuzzy…steak is just a dead animal on your plate.
Voter rolls stuffed with dead and absent registrants
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – Mississippi’s voter situation is hard to believe. Places like Madison County have over 123% more registered voters than people over the age of 18.
Sue Sautermeister, First District Election Commissioner in Madison County, tried to purge the rolls, but ran into trouble when it was discovered it takes a vote of three of the five election commissioners and the purge cannot take place within 90 days of a federal election.
Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann is the first to admit the situation with voter registration in this state is terrible.
“It is terrible,” he says. “Combined with the fact that we don’t have voter ID in Mississippi, anybody can show up at any poll that happens to know the people who have left town or died — and go vote for them.”
http://www.wlbt.com/global/story.asp?s=9248483
Virginia: I keep getting ridiculed for this but I still say Obama never wins VA. I’m like the Hollywood producer in “The Godfather,” yelling at Robert Duvall: “Johnny Fontane never gets that picture! I don’t care how many Mafia goombahs come crawling out of the woodwork!” Similarly: Obama never gets Virginia! I don’t care how many Obots come crawling out of the dungpile! As my bettin’ friends say: “House it.”
Ultimately, Obama is not going to do as well in suburban areas as the polls suggest.
The Bradley Effect is real.
Of course, the “Mickey Mouse voted for Obama 50 times” Effect is also real.
So who knows.
cooldude, you are below vile. People like you are a disgrace to every person who ever fought for civil rights.

*Obama’s hypnotic command that…
“a light will shine down from somewhere, it will light upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will say to yourself, ‘I have to vote for Barack’”
An example of Obama using both of these hypnotic hand gestures, hypnotic programming followed by hypnotic anchor back to back, in a way that can be nothing other than hypnosis: You can See the video of this speech excerpt:

Thailand is abundant with tourists, conceivably it is because of alloy of abstruseness and excitement, the mix of age-old belief and avant-garde nightlife. Thailand, has been accepted as Siam for centuries, Thailand has been a capital of ability and adoration and the 21st aeon has not afflicted that fact.
