    • Consequences Of Indicting Trump
So, a New York DA has charged Trump. There’s some posturing by DeSantis, but Trump will almost certainly go to New York and surrender. This is a watershed moment, no former President has ever been charged with a crime. This is a political act. Many President have committed crimes and have not been charged. It will lead to red state DAs indicting Democratic p […]

The Trolls Coordinated Attack- In their own words

Here’s what was in the moderation queue. Normally, I wouldn’t post this stuff but it’s pretty clear that the 45 comments that appeared in the moderation queue were part of a coordinated attack. And the IP domain name 67.159.XX.XXX looks like the tag team (yes, there are at least two of them. Wave to JZ!) are using a large common server. I’m doing a domain search right now to figure out if they are using proxy servers or if they can be traced back to, oh, I don’t know, a university department. That seems to be where a lot of Obama trolls originate. But take a look at what they’re up to in their own words. Classy.:

  1. Holy CR*P.

Too bad they weren’t dumb enough to tell us who was sending them!

  2. Give up already. Your guy is king.

  3. I’ve always pictured a bunch of Obots in an office filled with computer workstations, with a Trollmaster directing their work.

    Looks like I was close

  4. it would be truly tragic if they were using an educational facility’s ISP, and someone filed a complaint. it’s pretty clear from the content that they’re violating TOS of any ISP i’m familiar with.

  5. And it isn’t as if they are doing it for principles – only because it makes them some bucks.

I wonder if they are setting up for coordinated attacks on McCain.?

  6. Yes, campskunk. It would be traaaaaggggiiiiicccc.

  7. Alice – I doubt it.

They just can’t quit us! 🙂

  8. This is merely proof of what we’ve all surmised from the beginning – that there were coordinated Internet attacks coming from the BH0 camp.

Thanks for sharing this, RD. And allow me this opportunity to thank you for all you have done, are doing, continuing to do to keep democracy alive in this country, and to inspire others like me to work for that goal as well. I don’t know how you put out a perfect essay nearly every day without repeating yourself, but kudos to you, RD.

  9. I swear I recognize the style of those two from a forum I used to post on.
I’ve been getting some very obscene posts at my blog as well these past few days.
I haven’t seen the likes of it since 2001 when I made the mistake to engage freepers. But it seems all beneficiaries of stolen elections are ultimately the same.

  10. Look at who their role model is. A guy who flips a former First Lady and sitting senator the bird, wipes her off his shoulder and shoes, hits his wife’s a$$ in public, and then expects to be trusted to host dinners for heads of state. Living in a multi-million dollar mansion isn’t classy if you don’t know enough to flush.

  11. Thanks Riverdaughter. I wonder what they think they are going to accomplish?

  12. Let’s be fair, we don’t know who these trolls work for.

They could very well be GOP trolls posing as Obots.

But even if they are, it doesn’t change my vote.

  13. Myiq – That’s why I’m sad that they didn’t spell out who their boss is. I like to know mine enemies and smite them with my wrath.

  14. I’m not an expert on federal law, but I’ll bet this is illegal under some of the various anti-hacking legislation that is out there.

  15. myiq at this point Obama is reduced to convincing me it’d be better for me to stay home. I don’t see myself voting for him. The little roll call yesterday clinched it for me. I hope the arm twisting they did was worthwhile.

  16. myiq: Didn’t you hear? The Obots are working for the GOP this year. They’re doing just about all they can to swing this election for McCain.

  17. Unconfirmed reports SS in San Diego and Michigan at Romney’s sisters home.

    I can do McCain/Romney 2008!

Democrats f*cked with the wrong Americans!

  18. It certainly seems that way, RD. I can’t imagine how they think they are going to attract working class voters with a speech in a Greek Temple on the 50 yard line of Mile High Stadium.

  19. As Alice said, why would they be doing this? The crowning is this evening, and they won’t be changing anybody’s mind here using ANY tactic. I think they just enjoy harassing people because they are such bad little brats.

Kids, you all should really try to develop love lives to help you mature into strong and complete adult human beings.

  20. Carol,

No way can I vote for Romney. You might want to look into his tenure as Governor of MA. I think it will be McKinney for me.

  21. And can we just add to your list, samanthasmom..”and who kisses the lips of his vice presidential candidate’s wife.” Did you see that last night??? I could NOT believe how he just planted a huge kiss on Jill Biden’s lips. Umm, what was THAT about?

  22. If you take away the misogyny and sex*sm, the false accusations of rac*sm, the caucus fraud and delegate stealing, the organized trolling, and all the other bullshit that has taken place in this campaign, Obama is still unqualified to be President.

All that other stuff just goes to explain how he got the nomination, he’s still not worthy of it.

  23. RD – Whether they mean to or not, that will indeed be the result of their actions!

  24. izarradar:

What grossed me out was when he slipped her the tongue

  25. myiq
Style aside, I doubt GOP-ers would troll this entry – especially in a coordinated fashion. Cui prodest? What’s in it for them?
If this were a post about Hillary, maybe. But trolling an Obama critique – nah…

    This thug serves The Thug.

  27. Now you’re kidding, right? Please, Goddess, tell me you’re kidding.

  28. Romney would be a wasted opportunity for him IMO but he could pull some arguments against health care I guess.

  29. $6 million to feed one man’s ego.

How many poor people could we feed with $6 million?

  30. Looks like Mommy’s basement is pretty crowded today!

  31. Well, it shouldn’t be any surprise that the server they are using is based in Chicago.

  32. A vote for anyone other than McCain is a vote for Obama.

  33. Wow, I only got told that I’m “going to get what’s coming to me,” if Obama loses.

By that I’m assuming it means I get a party that isn’t completely corrupt, selling out its values to advance an amateurish poseur whose only interest in being President is being President…and funneling our tax dollars into the pockets of his friends.

I assume it also means I get another shot at getting Hillary in the White House.

    I can live with that.

RD; it was a pleasure to meet you and struggle to keep the fire of Democracy lit…literally. “This little light of mine I’m gonna let it shine…”

  34. OMG, I’m so glad I missed the kissing.

You know, he offered that woman in PA a kiss if she’d vote for him too!

If that’s his strategy to win in November, he doesn’t have time for the coronation tonight. He has buy seven crates of Chapstick and start kissing every voter in all 57 states!

  35. Hey Everyone:

    We want to stop Obama.
So we may have to put up with the most revolting republican as vice president.

Four reasons Mitt Romney will be VP:

    New Mexico

And well you could throw in Oregon for good measure.

  36. Carol:

In some states, the outcome is pretty much preordained.

McCain will win the red states and Uh-bama will win the blues.

The votes only matter in the swing states.

  37. Ben – Romney is really not that bad. You know who could be worse?

I’m thinking it’s gonna be Romney too. I can live with that. What I can’t live with is another neocon warmonger like Lieberman. That is an absolute no sale for me.

Carol – No, that’s not true. A vote for McKinney is not a vote for Obama. Come on now Carol Diamonds, you know that! 🙂

  38. If Obama wins because we don’t shut him down with a viable candidate, he wins, game over! They win! Finito!

  39. Romney is disgusting, but perk up. He’ll be the easiest to beat in 2012. Look how poorly he did in the primaries. Even the other republicans hated him.

  40. If the GOP is reading this blog, they would know that they don’t need to send faux Obama trolls to get us angry. We have enough anger to take us all the way to November already. If the GOP were commenting here, we’d be getting love notes.

  41. I am sure you are saving these as are the rest of us in the blogger community.
By the way, I guess you all read the SunTimes article a few days ago about the conviction and sentencing of the man who sent the hate mails and emails.

  42. I think we need to start thinking like the opposition. The Romney is rich thing is not a big deal. They are all wealthy. Hell, Biden got his son a cushy job at MBNA credit card company headquartered in Delaware. At least Romney and Cindy came to their money legitimately and not through politics.

  43. Carol – Obama is going to win New York. There’s nothing I can do about it. So, my vote is for McKinney.

If I see McCain doing well in the polls here, I will vote for him. But I think the chances are pretty slim.

  44. So did the trolls get through or did their attack land in the moderation bin?

  45. Why was Giuliani so unpopular?

  46. What joy we will get from Romney slicing and dicing The One.

  47. I am in SC we have been a red state since Strom started his insanity. I don’t have to vote for anybody. I can still say I have never voted Republican. YAY!

  48. Carol you asked me in an earlier post if I was the kim from SD? What did you mean? I am Kim but yesterday another Kim was posting Obama crap.

  49. I’m in Ohio.

Ohio WOULD have voted for Hillary; make no mistake. And yes, even Republicans…this is confirmed from using diehard random people I encounter asking them.

Ohio is going republican this year.

Congrats moronic 50% of the Dem party!

  50. Got to go home and then go to the other job. Damn I wish my daughter would just graduate.

  51. I’m sorry, but the troll stuff is damned funny.

    What absolute morons. soooo stupid!
thanks for the entertainment, you little wankers!

sorry RD, that you have to waste your precious time and energy, tho.

    hey, they won’t vote, right?

  52. I’m from Ohio, too. This was Hillary country.

  53. Hi Conflucians:

there is a show tonite 9pm eastern

  54. Didn’t ya’ll get the latest media line from the Obats? It’s not a Greek temple – it’s supposed to look like the Lincoln Memorial. MLK gave his famous speech in front of the Lincoln Memorial, so 45 years later, BHO has a replica of the Lincoln Memorial because he’s just like MLK.

    I’m gonna go puke now………..

The Great Pundit Cable Republican PUMA Fraud (Brent Budowsky)
    @ 5:16 pm

Yes, indeed, one of the pundits with the latest “Hillary supporters will vote Republican” words admitted she was repeating the GOP talking points, which indeed she was, along with the jib-jab of the cable talkies and the flim-flam of the so-called experts who treat smears as truth and talking points as news.

The “Hillary supporters will vote Republican” myth is a fraud, a figment of the imagination of Fox News, a fantasy of the Hillary-obsessed pundit class, and a mirage that will be shattered when the PUMA Republicans are revealed for the fraud they are and more than 90 percent of the Hillary supporters will vote against more war, against overturning Roe v. Wade and against the economic royalism of the oil company party led by John McCain, who opposes equal pay for women while he would privatize Social Security for the elderly.

The pundits chortled when a Gallup poll showed McCain pulling ahead, but they are silent when the next Gallup poll showed Barack back on top.

Here’s the catch. When CNN dredged up that African-American Hillary delegate saying she would give Barack Obama two months to prove his worth to her, that woman will end up voting for Obama and is counted in the bogus math of the alleged “Hillary supporters will vote for McCain.” In fact, the polls that show Obama slightly ahead count NONE of those alleged “Hillary voters” as Obama voters when in truth MOST of them will be.

In short, they are already being counted AGAINST Barack, yet when there is movement in their numbers, it will be TO Barack.

Let’s be clear. This convention has not dealt with economic or energy issues, as it should have. Democrats are in the fight of their lives. Make no mistake about that.

But make no mistake about this, either. No matter how many times the pundits repeat the Republican talking points, no matter how much the cable talkies are obsessed with Hillary, no matter how much propaganda is spread by the Republicans and repeated on the cables as news or by the pundits as wisdom, the truth is this …

The PUMAs are nothing but a fraud who speak for no one except a handful of people and Republicans who support them, promote them, and try to sell them to the press as they once sold Mr. Chalabi as the future of Iraqi democracy and once sold Jack Abramoff as the go-to power guy in Washington.

It is fraud, it is a sham, it is a myth — and don’t believe anyone who tells you otherwise.

  56. These idiots are so smug they have to brag about their ilegal activities. YES this is illegal and a violation of the TOS at almost any site. It’s called a cyber attack and it happens more than you know.

I do covert opps on a couple of their sites to see what they are up to as they have done this and more to me and others and I see them bragging about shutting people down or harassment by this method all the time. These are proffessional trolls. Perhaps some are even the paid bloggers that we all read about?

  57. Who the hey is Brent Budowsky?

  58. Report it to their ISP. Trolling violates the TOS of virtually every ISP out there; we often have to do such things in the abortion support and information group I’m a member of.

  59. chatblu, my guess is that he’s someone with his head very far up his ass. Fine. Let them think we aren’t real. Then watch their faces with glee when the returns come in in November. Bwahahahaha!

  60. Fair enough, Cindy. I’ll take my invisibility cloak to the cleaners

  61. myiq2xu, i hope you’re right because virginia has gone red every GE since johnson. i’d love to vote for mckinney so i hope it’s not close here.

  62. They have also attacked my site River.
I was at first angry. I assumed I would be left alone because I am not a wordsmith of any note. ( compared to you and some of the others I read.) But I have come to look at it as a badge of honor. Morbid? tes! But if they would come after a little guy like me with their nasty attacks, I can only imagine what you are going through.

  63. Oops…I meant yes…not tes. sorry

  64. I’ve had a coordinated attack on my blog as well….they even pulled out the big C word.

    Mountain Sage

  65. Yeah…That is their favorite insult! Being a father of three women and married to a very strong, independent and fiery woman, I hate that damn word! I knocked a guy out once when I was younger for calling my sister that. Although I do not condone violence, there are times when a good rap on the mouth is justified! 🙂

  66. Ugh, sorry you had to deal with that trash RD. Did you wear surgical gloves and a mask? Whatever is wrong with people that do this kind of stuff is something that you definately don’t want to catch.

OT but noteworthy: Did you see this great article by Geraldine Ferraro?

  68. No I didn’t have gloves on, but my Father in-law was a surgeon and he gave me a tetanus shot and made sure I didn’t break any skin. As I said, that was back in the 80’s and we all know what hysteria there was about AIDS back then. But no…It all turned out okay.

And yes…I read that article this morning. Thanks

  69. Warren: I’m a Republican? OMG! Why didn’t anyone tell me?! And where is all the money???

  70. RD — and they were found in moderation? That would imply that we found SOME way to deal with them. Wouldn’t it?

  71. reddragon62;

Good for you standing up for your sister like that! That word is meant to reduce us to nothing more than our reproductive parts. It’s wrong and sick and they know it. Calling someone a dick is just as bad though sometimes I must admit it can be sort of correct.

  72. Wow Warren!

Now I am a Republican. I am sorry to inform them but I am a life ;long Dem. I am a Committee Man in my district and my brothers and sisters are all either Dem Activist’ or Precinct Captains.

Not one of them is an Obama supporter!

Welcome to “Change We Can Believe In”.

  73. RD & MyIQ please check your email.

  74. I was “Raised” by a strong Mother and my 5 sisters. That word was taboo in my Mothers home and still is!

Besides, we ( Native Americans) believe women are sacred. Also, back in the day, and to some extent today, it was the woman who “Ran” the home! When you married into a family, you went to live with your Wife’s family and you had better respected the Mother-In-Law. She was law and you could not even look her in the eyes as that was disrespectful.

Now I realize times change and it is not that way today, but “WE” still hold most of our traditions and the woman is still seen as an equal partner in life.
This is how I was raised and how my Wife and I raised our Daughters. My Son
    ( God bless him…lol ) never had a chance…LOL

Maybe more of the “Men” in this country should treat their women as equals and not as objects or lesser beings. Maybe then we would not have so many problems in our society.

    Just saying.

  75. Oh my Bad!
I thought you were referring to me when you said RD.

  76. Well I was talking to you reddragon62! I was saying what a great husband, dad and son you are for not allowing that word! Thank you on behalf of all my sisters! (pantsuits or not)

  77. I miss seeing you as often as you used to post here. Rememer that you line said re Roe v Wade on grandpa doing the honorable thing? I love that line & have used it in oodles of situations. Of course, I credit you.

  78. well, crap, that last post was to KenoshaMarge…. trying to do 6 things while I read here.

  79. Katiebird,

I put a bunch of messages in moderation, because they were so creepy. Maybe I did it.

  80. Thank you Caffinequeen. I have had the great honor of being born to a “Strong Woman”!
She made me the man I am today. I strive everyday to honor what she has taught me and walk a path she guided me on.
She taught me many years ago when I was but a wee dragon, that once I married and had a life of my own, the greatest honor I could give her was to live as she would have wanted me to live….and to respect the woman who blessed me with her love and the children we both cherish.

  81. Some of those open proxies could be traps set by the feds…

  82. msindy;

If you check some of the really awful BO sites you’ll find that they all recomend using proxy servers and they instruct each other how to out-game the security systems.

One blog I know of was bragging the other day about how they shut down another they were going on about “just guessing what the problem was” in such technical accuracy that it matched exactly the explanation from the service provider. Just guessing but they were congradulating the “Guesser” for a job well done. Hmmm me thinks there is something rotten in Denmark!

  83. Ever since I started reading blogs about the American election, I noticed that in many blogsites a common thread of hate filled short comments streamed through with amazing regularity. I am not a computer expert but even then I felt that some group(s) had organized a concerted effort to create negative aura around Sen. Clinton via the websites. Many once “respected “(?) pundits in mainstream media set the pace but the regularity, intensity and uniformity of attacks using language that could choke me senseless if I said them seemed to come from one source – a demented Obama supporter. I suspected then, as I still suspect now, that a “call center” populated by paid hacks whose first language is not English must be the “factory” of those hate filled blogs.

  84. p.s. I noticed too a few “words” that give away the nationality of creators of those rotten blogs. Please do everything to shut them down. They are pests to sanity and decency.

  85. They’re thugs. Probably the same people that hijacked caucuses. Immature & hateful.

  86. Riverdaughter,

I don’t know your email address, but do have a name and address for that troll’s IP. Please feel free to email me at the address I left for this comment if you haven’t got that already. I can send the whole thing.

  87. Oops, see you got it up there. Nevermind 😛

  88. These weren’t script kiddies bouncing from proxies for fun. This was a targeted attack. Trust me, these people don’t type in full sentences or use proper grammar. Plus, look at this post:

JimmyZ, you know how this works. First the mod blocks by name, then by IP. come back through different proxy. Does everybody else know?

Everybody else? Wow, they would be elite to spam a political site…not. These are most likely college kids working for the Obama campaign.

  89. This definitely appears to be coordinated by the BHO camp. I notice that the posts didn’t start until after Obama’s speech was over. The end of the speech may will have been the signal to begin Operation Silence Confluence.

  90. You can tell that school is back in session. I didn’t see all that during the summer so much. But I knew that it would begin around this time. JimmyZ needs to start studying harder.

  91. One less vote for McCain helps Obama win. McCain needs every vote because the bump from tonight’s speech will be significant and I believe lasting.

McCain voted against Cheney’s energy bill atleast.

If we won’t vote for Obama just because he is (supposedly) a Democrat), the same goes for McCain. Just because he’s a Repub doesn’t mean he’s worst than Obama. Remember Kerry wanted old John, and Obama wanted Hagel.

So voting Repub to defeat Obama is really the only way this time around.

  92. You might want to notify CERT – computer emergency and response. This crap is illegal. And you have proof.

I haven’t read all of the posts, but the firewall should be able to deny IPs.

  93. You might want to look into the Simple CAPTCHA plugin (http://blog.zorex.info/?page_id=2).

  94. yes, sure it is illegal, but it won’t find them..
