I was born in 1968, the year Wallerstein calls one of “world revolution”. It was a revolution that both failed and succeeded: women and minorities got more rights, often a lot more, but the end result was an oligarchy, where most people were equal in their lack of power, and where every year saw ordinary people becoming poorer, no matter what the official st […]

It’s Delegate Night @ NØ WE WØN’T

TONIGHT at 8pm EST — “DELEGATE NIGHT” on “No We Won’t” P.U.M.A. Radio !!

Please join us tonight (at 8pm EST) for yet another action packed show!

Dr. Lynette Long (of http://www.lynettelong.com/caucusfraud) will be joining us to tell us about how — had it not been for the the anti-democratic nature of this year’s caucuses (and of caucusing in general) — that it would actually be Hillary Clinton who would now have the delegate lead today.

Then, Michele Thomas of the HRC 300 Delegates petition will be with us to discuss the continued importance of that petition, and will be joined by Sacha Millstone (whose delegate status was threatened by the Colorado Democratic Party) and Deb Bartosevich (the Wisconsin delegate who *did* lose her delegate status).

Listen in and learn how your party officials are subverting your vote.

Thank you,

Will Bower & Sheri Tag

  1. The McCain/Obama Forum was a gift from heaven.

  2. Poor Hillary. She has been transferred via handcuffs and gag across state lines to NM to stump for BO with Richardson.

    There outta be a law!

  3. Hillary-zila

  4. Thank you Carol…….Something to beat the Supers with.

  5. Hillary on Fox Live in just a minute.

    Someone save OUR QUEEN!

  6. As Tweety once said, to take the castle “you have to kill the Queen.” He was referring to Hillary.

  7. God I hate those ^(%$##@$%#!

  8. AAAAACK! Richardson is $%^&*( scum.

  9. well, she looked great. that was sort of a weird non-hug with Richardson. can’t say I blame her.

  10. I hope your radio show emphasise the phoniest of Obama, the McCain/Obama forum has shown everyone to see. His gut wrenching decision, his wise advisors, etc. etc.

  11. Yeah, he almost grabbed her breast as she moved away from him. I don’t think he will be spending the next Super Bowl at the White House with Bill.

  12. The radio show sounds good. I’m sorry I missed Hillary. Was it painful to listen to her praising the two morons?

  13. Now they force Hillary to campaign with Judas…that’s to much for me…

I think I have to steal this from Carol:

  14. They only showed her for a couple of seconds.

  15. luckyann – I’m sharing it and encouraging it for everyone.

  16. it was painful but as Carol said, mercifully brief

  17. Judas now feels okay about the roll call vote. He has given his blessings

“It’s going to be placed in nomination in recognition of the 18 million votes that she got — her historic candidacy. But then she is going to pledge her delegates to Sen. Obama so that it’s a unanimous — a unanimous election. That — that gives me comfort,”

  18. “Judas” is “helping her pay down the DEBT”.
My “secret wish” is that when her #’s come out the “DEBT’s been paid & there’s enough to…”UN-SUSPEND” the campaign!!!
    I girl can “DREAM” / can’t she??!!

  19. Question for the show tonight …..Who is going to speak and fight for Hillary at the convention. Or have they fixed, the count of regular delegates, already.

  20. Even if Hillary pledges her delegates to Obama, don’t they have take a second count.

  22. And there will be a betrayal and the other former candidates who had fed at the political trough asked, “Is it I Hillary?” Hillary replied, “It is the one who dipped his hands into the largesse provided by Bill and me for all those years, who was trusted and we placed our trust in thee.” Judas Richardson asked, “Is it I Hillary,” and Hillary replied, “Judas Richardson, it is better for that person if they had not been borned.”

Judas Richardson after having sold his soul for 30 waffles with the false prophet was cast out of the inner circle and began wandering. Wandering from one cable show to another, spewing the virtues of the Waffled One, but found few takers. Woe was to be his constant companion when even IHOP rejected his entrance.

  23. No one asked Judas to do a fundraiser for Hillary. He is an idiot

  24. Prolix – hysterical.

  25. I predict that when BO announces his VP this week his numbers will go down even more.

When all of those that were holding out for Hillary as VP see that he chose someone else, they will turn on him also.

  26. Hail… Prolix……Well done.

  27. Wolf Blitzer just told Richardson – “to help clear up her ENORMOUS Debt.” These people make me sick!

  28. Just out of curiosity…

If you heard me say, “Gotta get it hard. Gotta get it in”

Would you think I was talking about an Olympic Sport?

‘Cause some guy on TV was supposedly talking about a Beach Volley Ball Game. But what did he mean?

  29. Katiebird, did you hit the dvd button by accident? Was there background music that went “bow-chickey-bow-wow?” I’m not judging here…

  30. Prolix, I swear — I was just walking through the room. But, it was Bob Costa’s voice. Wasn’t he the guy arrested for biting a woman during (cough) about 15 years ago?

  31. good one Prolix! maybe the awkward huggy thing was Judas Richardson trying to deliver “the kiss”

as if anyone would need *him* to identify *her*

  32. Nope, Bob wasn’t the cannibal it was Marv Albert if memory serves. Although Marv might now be starring in those “special sport dvds.”

  33. Incredible!

SuperDeligates – Hillary or McCain 2008 – It’s Your Choice!

  34. Oh, yes.. Well then, I’ve got no explanation for it. There’s no DVD or VCR attached to that TV. In fact there isn’t even a cable.

  35. Excellent new video on the theme, “Obama Fails”

    Please spread it around.

  36. Someone commented on NoQuarter on the SaddleBack Forum regarding Obama: “I haven’t seen so much bombing since the ‘shock and awe’.”

I think that pretty well sums it up.

Do you think Obama may declare he has some kind of temporary illness that might render him incapable of proceding this time around and needs to yeild to Hillary? If he were smart, he would.

  37. People – apologize if this has video already been posted and/or discussed:

So now, of course, Obama wants to claim Bill Clinton’s legacy for himself. In April it was “all those people who fell through the Clinton and Bush administration”. Now the Clinton administration was “the longest period of uninterrupted economic expansion with 40,000 jobs”.

This guy has neither sense nor shame.

  38. The best (most ridiculous) excuses was, he just got back from his vacation and was trired.

  39. Hillary-zilla, So he goes on vaction because he’s tired, NOW he’s tired because he was on vacation??

Does Obama have fibromyalgia or is he anemic?

The man blinks and he’s already tired. WTF??

  40. Please America. recognize what the DNC, and the MEDIA has given us.

  41. “GaryNC”
Thanks for the Obama Town-Hall up-date.
I had spoken to someone in his office about “questions from NYers” & when was he going tobe in NY again. He brought up a “town-Hall” Breakfast in June. I “LOL” really & said “I know; but that was $250 to get in”, how about something “FREE”??!!
He said Sen.Obama does’nt take Lobbyist/Pac $ so he has to charge for events. To put it “nicely”, we agreed to disagree on that. I also told him McCain has ALREADY met with Hillary supporters “FOR FREE”!! Then I said what everyone misses is that it’s NOT ABOUT POLICIES FOR “US”/ it’s about STYLE!! McCain is OPEN & DIRECT like Hillary is; & @ this point we have’nt seen much of that from Sen Obama.
Maybe I’ll try to “CRASH” the NC one??!!

  42. This email confirms that you have donated Puma PAC $15.00

    Just donated $15.00 to PumaPac.

Good thoughts for everyone going to Denver.

I love the thought expressed in “we are the ones that noone expected”. (I think I got that quote right)

  43. MSNBC……….Andrea Mitchel….says their was no cone of silence for McCain. How low can, she go.

  44. Hillzila, that one is too easy, but I won’t even go there.

  45. Yea,……I hope someone calls her on it. Where is everyone today.

  46. Well, an hour to go. see U’all later.

  47. Out enjoying a Sunday, everyone will be around for the radio show though.

  48. PUMA rocks OH:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 17, 2008

    Obama, McCain tied in Ohio

Raleigh, N.C. – John McCain has pulled even with Barack Obama in Ohio, according to the newest survey from Public Policy Polling. Obama had led in PPP’s June and July polls of the state. It’s 45-45 with 10% undecided.
One factor causing Obama problems is that he’s not doing as good a job as McCain of getting folks in his party to vote for him. While McCain leads 89-7 among Republicans, Obama’s lead is a narrower 75-17 among Democrats. Obama has the 45-28 edge with independent voters.

The Democrats neglecting to choose Obama are disproportionately white, female, and middle aged, an indication that it could be former supporters of Hillary Clinton who are holding out.“Ohio is one state, along with Pennsylvania and Michigan, where Barack Obama would probably be well served by some joint appearances with the Clintons,” said Dean
Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling.

    GO Ohio!!

  49. Just donated $ 20 to PumaPac and $ 20 to ‘Gary and Mawm’s Great RV Adventure’. I don’t like PayPal!

  50. So many things Obama is doing to derail his chances. Gaffes, lies, mistatements, weakness…

… gifts that keep on giving.

More people will create videos/articles and other items with the more we learn about the man sometimes known as Barack Obama.

I can’t possibly imagine that if SDs see videos like this, they won’t have second thoughts.

We only have a week left to convince them. 😦

  51. seems like the Puma Pac contribution sum is stuck where it was yesterday (at this site anyway–maybe not updated)—-once it goes from 870 to 1250, we (in my household) would like to bring it to $1500.!

  52. That Georgia statement with Obama in his windbreaker is simply pathetic. This man is soooo wrapped up in himself and the cult of himself that he can probably only think of issues in terms of how they affect HIM. Clearly, he had no idea what he was talking about.

  53. My home: Beautiful Ohio!!

  54. I think I mentioned that the other night on blog radio that Obama is, for now, doing better among independents, but its democrats that are helping McCain. I think it’s more than 17% but I’ll take it.

  55. I don’t understand what the “cone of silence” refers to. Please explain.

  56. cone of silence was from Get Smart, no?

  57. cone of silence was what they used on get smart to discuss matter in confidentiality. a cone of silence would drop down from the ceiling. i’m assuming that mitchell is saying the mccain heard obama’s answers.

  58. there’s not much jet lag between hawaii and california.

  59. But didn’t McCain go first?

  60. masslib……Obama went first…. McCain was in a sould proof room.

  61. has anyone the email address for riverdaughter? someone at bitterpolitics asks for it and I can’t find it here…

  62. SOUND PROOF ROOM…… Adrea is saying Mac could heaR.

  63. oh who cares anyway. who actually sat and watched that on a saturday night? it was important to mccain to reassure the christian conservatives who, i read somewhere, are more worked up about abortion than gay marriage. I really think there is the truth to the rumor that when barack was told that Georgia was invaded he asked, “have they reached Atlanta yet?”

  64. There appears to be quite a of head scratching taking place from those pundits who insisted on shoving this pretender down our throats. They are now having to evaluate his lackluster performance against that of McCain last night. Many are hoping he steps to the plate but aren’t we a little late to expect anything more from this candidate? He simply is not credible nor can he deliver. Give him a prepared speech and he can read it very well with the help of a teleprompter but asking a question out of context and he stumbles like Jack going up the hill to fetch a pail of water.

The Repubs are going to make hay all this week in bringing his feet down to earth. Hannity and O’Reilly will be going full force. The public is gaining a degree of skepticism and the feeling that he is just not ready is resonating full scale.

He can descend from a hot air balloon into the Mile High Stadium on August 28th and that will only serve to thrill those diehard supporters who will acclaim him no matter what. I think the general public will be less convinced as time goes on that “hope” and “change” are just rhetoric and tune out. He is not who they have portrayed.

  65. MR. GREGORY: Andrea Mitchell, that’s a pretty clear contrast.

MS. ANDREA MITCHELL: Oh, absolutely. And, you know, there was the crisp, immediate, forceful response by John McCain, clearly in a comfort zone because he was with his base. And Barack Obama, taking a risk in going there but seeing an opportunity. And a much more nuanced approach. The Obama people must feel that he didn’t do quite as well as they might have wanted to in that context, because that–what they’re putting out privately is that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama.

    MR. GREGORY: Right.

MS. MITCHELL: He seemed so well prepared.

Fire them all! They are disgusting!

  66. Hey everyone! Just saw “Tropic Thunder.” A+ +, no kidding.

Sounds like developments have been developing. The Wes Clark thing is a major indicator – I agree with RD.

Remember – Michelle Obama’s brother: Yea
Charlie Rangel, Jesse Jackson, Wes Clark: Nay

I wonder if Oba-Moi would turn down Nelson Mandela!

  67. Pat, I still ROTFLMBO @ your “Michelle announces she’s expecting at the convention” scenario. (wipes tears) Whoo! Now that was a humdinger. 🙂

  68. hat – I haven’t been totaling. Took the day off. If you are telling me you are going to hit the $250 button, I will go back and tally!

  69. Mo’s ob/gyn is going to give the keynote speaker letting us know that she is expecting the “second coming”.

  70. Rangel is a great guy … he really’s bright and a genuine american hero , no wonder Obama want’s him no where near

  71. Carol: Yes do tally when you get a chance, I have stock-market “winnings” to share! (I’m turning back to writing for 1 hour and will return)

  72. Hillary needs Richardson’s help to retire her debt, like I needed a jock strap to give birth to my three kids. Pls. And the cone of silence thing. No one in the MSM can ask Obama where his birth certificate is, but they can say that McCain cheated because he was so much better that O. Please, can we have Hillary back now?

  73. Katiebird, just saw your confusion about Costa and Albert. It WAS Albert who bit that woman; Costa’s so short he was arrested for going up on her.

    Hope this helps.

3 BIG cheers for Charly R.

  74. he is such the affirmative action candidate

  75. Wow, Obama tanking in Ohio. Who would have thunk it?

  76. sound familiar:

Although Ford had won more primary delegates than Reagan, as well as plurality in popular vote, he did not have enough to secure the nomination, and as the convention opened both candidates were seen as having a chance to win. Because of this, both Ford and Reagan arrived in Kansas City before the convention opened to woo the remaining uncommitted delegates in an effort to secure the nomination.

  77. does anyone think Reagan would have given his vote to Ford during the roll call?

  78. Ms. Mitchell…..McCain being able to answer the questions easily is called EXPERIENCE.

    Mountain Sage

  79. Wig, at Alegre’s suggestion I went over to http://www.thewashingtonnote.com to see the post about Obama and General Clark.

You are kicking some serious butt over there. Good work!

My suggestion is that you just hang out over here. The locals are much more friendly.

  80. Carol: cash register update?

  81. Okay – give me a few minutes and I will post on the next thread. You are to be admired!

  82. Yeah, but Ben, that’s the GOP and their primary rules are more consistent state to state and stricter than the Democrat rules. In some states, we just let any ole body vote in our primary. Now I’m beginning to wonder whether Limbaugh was speaking in code that we couldn’t break. Is it possible that he was actually telling the voters to vote for O against Hillary?

Our party is broken because the rules are haphazard and we can’t seem to get rid of those caucuses.

I still cannot figure out this fanaticism for Obama. It’s completely lost on me. I feel like the little kid watching the emperor parade around wearing nada.

  83. Brad – if you read the posts of this blog, you’ll see it’s a DEMOCRACY issue.

Caucuses were rigged. Delegates were intimidated. Superdelegates were given LARGE contributions days before their endorsements. Votes and delegates from Michigan were stolen.

When Democracy comes back to the Democratic Party, so will we.
