I’m here! Yeah! We’re staying in the middle of Denver in a VERY nice undisclosed location. (It pays to have connections) I just had the minibar emptied so Brook doesn’t get tempted. We are going to take a tour of the kitchens with the chef in a minute. Might do a cocktail hour later if you guys are still up.
So, did anything happen today?

  1. Leahy called for Hillary to drop out. Casey endorsed O’Gawd. DCDemocrat endorsed Hillary. Same old. Same old.

  2. Oh yeah. Dean asked the superdelegates to make up their minds by July 1.

  3. Yea, Dean is trying to get the superdelegates to kick Clinton out of the race so they don’t have to worry about MI and FL. Dean is such an ass.
Once again Obamabots are trying to kick Clinton out of the race before she wins another big victory in PA. The Democratic Party is just a bunch of wimps and Obama truly is the affirmative action candidate.

  4. DisenfranchisedVoter, I’ve been nursing my knee (It’s MUCH better now) and haven’t seen the news. If you’ve got a clip of Dean saying that, I’ll add it to my post. Is it available? Or a quote I can add?

  5. Gore weighed in to say that it’s no big deal, the campaign isn’t taking too long, and everyone should just get over it and let the voters vote.

    Have a great vacation!

  6. katiebird,

The clip is over at Taylor Marsh if you want it.

  7. It doesn’t sound like Dean’s saying that the superdelegates want to kick Clinton out. I’ve listened to it twice now.

  8. Oh, I see — he says that the Superdelegates should make up there minds in June and be public. Then that will decide the nominee and THEN we can decide the fate of FL & MI. Hmm. pretty wimpy. ..

  9. Governator-Doctornator Dean made the untimely mistake of sending me an e-mail today and asking for my dough. Oopsie.

BREAKING: The Governator-Doctornator’s inbox is currently in flames. 🙂

  10. ufa, Me too! I sent back a scathing statement in reply. No money until FL & MI are seated.

  11. I did the same thing. I went to their site and unsubbed and wrote an explanation about why they would never get a cent from me until all the votes are counted. I said that if Hillary isn’t treated fairly, I will not be voting for Obama.

  12. You know some of my best writing of late has been sent to “Dear Howard”. I know that no one actually reads them, but it makes me feel so good to send them. I must admit, that I kinda enjoy getting the requests for money, just so I can send one of my masterpieces. Next time, I might add a “Give my best to Donna”.

  13. have a great vacation!

  14. I’m drinking a nice glass of wine and thinking about tomorrow when I
go to San Jose and join the crowd that is greeting Nancy (Obama) Pelosi. We are demanding that every vote count because this is still the Democratic Party.

  15. HMMM- guess we all got the same e-mail and all did the same thing! Great minds think alike.
He’s too dense to get it though.
Let’s get a poll on that! How many people flamed Dean and unsubscribed today??
Oh let’s overpoll women so we get a good number LMAO

  16. CB, good luck tomorrow! I hope the crowd is huge!!!

  17. Not really. I just kinda chilled out at the crib and had a few adult beverages. I took out the garbage and did the dishes. Mostly I just kinda sat on my ass listening to Bob Marley and blogging. I hope you have a great time in Denver. I heard there are gonna be race riots there at the Democratic convention. Kinda reminds me of Chicago in ’68.

  18. That hotel out in Colorado. It’s not called The Overlook Hotel is it! Yikes!

  19. earl: the Overlook is closed for the season silly. No, we’re in the heart of Denver but not far from the convention center.

  20. we’re in the heart of Denver but not far from the convention center.

hey! that gives me an idea! while you’re there dig an underground tunnel to the convention center and we can all crash the convention!

  21. hey! that gives me an idea! while you’re there dig an underground tunnel to the convention center and we can all crash the convention!

LOL! I was thinking along similar lines: Infiltrate – put in bugs/cameras, oh just whatever. Plus the tunnel ideal is good too. A hoard of Hillary folk pouring en masse onto the convention floor! LOL!

  22. Hm. So are we all gonna show up in Denver in August and picket for MI/FL if it’s still unresolved? I keep trying to book a plane ticket on Southwest but they’re only taking ressies through August 21 right now…

  23. I’m arriving very late to this party but I must chime in that I also wrote a love note to Dr. No telling him to shove his hands in his pockets and dig for change. He’s not getting my money until he backs off and does his job – solve the FL and MI dilemma.

  24. CB, how did San Diego go? Did you give Nancy a chunk of your mind? She has really stuck her foot in it.
