Short takes for 2008-03-01

Michael “BlatherWatch” Hood gets run down by the Obama bandwagon, in “Being a liberal heretic is a bitch”.

Asking these questions and being non-obasmic has battered old friendships and brought down scorn from liberals that surprise me with their truculence … Suddenly, it’s not OK to have a contrary point of view … it’s OK to be bigoted or sexist … I can’t watch [KO] right now … the anti-Clinton shit is exactly as deep as you’ll wade through on Fox News

An eye for a tooth, a tooth for an eye:  I continue to researching and detail the race-baiting recap review of Sean Wilentz’s TNR article. Some of Obama08’s “gotcha” reactions are really quite remarkable. In an utterly unrelated development, they’ve restored a blind Irishman’s eyesight, using his son’s donated tooth to construct an artificial cornea!

GOSwatch: Objection has been raised to the recent pattern of thread-jamming against pro-Clinton diaries by posting vacuous comments, in addition to the traditional gang-rating abuses.

Has Obama rendered Hillary nonviable in the general election? And what then? Newsie8200 raises the premise in a dkos diary … how shall we dispose of it?

Who was BO, back in the day? An enterprising reporter who knew him when both were getting started in their respective professions has some revealing surprises. [hat tip, ‘jawbone’]

  1. Thanks, ronk. The BFF and I are trying to track down just the right Mac Book Pro. It hasn’t been easy. Had to check several stores all over NJ. The cocktail party might be delayed tonight.

  2. It is finally being said. Thank you God. I have thought for the last 4 to 6 weeks that a shift in the Dem party has occurred. It is broken and is only started to be seen by some and talked about by others. The Repubs I know have already picked up on it and see the split. They are already talking about McCain Democrats (gag). The Obamatrons have been screaming down anyone who talks about anything that is not part of the Obama commandments for quite a while and are getting on the non political populations’ nerves. Hillary and President Clinton have been trashed by the trash. To be viable against McCain she would have to be so negative that I am not sure the country would want either one of them.

Riverdaughter, please make recs on Mac Books. I know nothing about them and have promised one as a graduation gift in June. Thx.
