Obama ‘pleased, not satisfied’
- David Rothkopf identifies the clear winner of Obama’s first 100 days. I agree with him
Hillary is ‘suprise winner’ of first 100 days, Rothkopf saysFP blogger David Rothkopf has picked his surprise winners and losers of Obama’s first 100 days, and one of the winners is Secretary Clinton. After stating that National Security Advisor James L. Jones is the surprise loser in the “foreign policy division,” Rothkopf writes:
[A] good place to look if [Jones] wants an example [of] how to do it all right thus far is over in Foggy Bottom where the surprise winner of the first 100 days in this division is Hillary Clinton. She was supposed to be the uncontrollable ego, but instead she has turned out to be the team player who is using her star-power to very effectively advance the Obama agenda.

Good morning, MABlue!
“A very funny George Will whines about “Reconciliation” – a good read. At least he points the finger at Republicans as well. I disagree with his POV on issues, but he makes some good points re Congress.
How high up the chain are Americans willing to tolerate prosecutions for the torture go ahead? Obama and others repeatedly say that “no one is above the law.” However, it seems if you achieve the presidency, then you and anyone you choose to protect are above the law.
I’m normally not a George Will fan but I agree this was a good and fairly balanced read. He even went so far as to point out that reconciliation was used by the GOP.
I missed his column about “Reconciliation” when Republicans were using it.
It’s very easy to be fair and balanced now.
Silly women!

Hillary Clinton attends to business, as she always has, with a servant’s heart. Proving, time and time again, that hardwork and perserverance always pay off.
Whitman has been worrying about the GOP for years….guess it’s time for her to write another book that TPTB won’t read….
Although she was pro-choice, she did enough to screw up NJ starting with her privatization of the Motor Vehicle Division and the subsequent addition of fees while saying taxes were a no-no. Of course, she wanted merit pay, and now so does Obama, for teachers.

There are no “heroes” anymore, nor are there heroines. As for Clinton being the “winner’….being on Team Obama makes me wonder about that in the long run….
What I want to know is when is the air force going to the border to shoot down those flying devil pigs?
LOL
Dakinikat, you just have an unreasonable grudge against us, you know.
The Celestial Teapot made me do it!
Sure, blame the teapot …
The “closing the border” issue is LOL funny anyway. We have millions of illegal immigrants in this country (many who entered through our porous border)and someone really thinks just calling the border “closed” is going to be effective to prevent the spread of the disease. Uh, yeah, sure (rolling eyes).
