  1. Ok — I just told everyone good night on the old thread. Now, I’m telling y’all good night here.

    Night all!!

  2. G’ nite guapa!

  3. Bon soir mon amour! ;-)

  4. So when does Obama pardon Tony?

  5. When does Obama pardon Tony? 2016 if he’s lucky, 2012 if we’re lucky.

  6. Everybody left, eh?

  7. You’re here!

  8. I’m here!

  9. Drat, everyone has gone night night. I think I’ll play with the buttons a bit.

  11. Hmmm, that didn’t do a smiley.

    What else?

    :(

    :-(

  12. Don’t mind me, I’m practicing. It’s late, nobody is around so I may as well.

How do you do that bolding, italicizing stuff?

Oh yeah, nobody here to ask – off to see if Google can help me.

  13. hhhhhhhhhh

  14. Wooohoooo, I figured out bolding!

Was watching this show on A&E “The Rookies” real life thing.
Good Lord what they let loose on the streets after 12 weeks!

  21. Oh shit! I have a msg in moderation that didn’t contain any bad words, just links!!

  22. Heard on NPR this morning about the “feminism backlash”. I can’t seem to paste links into this forum, but go to NPR.org and look for Morning Edition — Sylvia Poggioli’s report.

How could NPR do this report about misogyny in Italy without making the obvious parallels to what is happening right here in our own country?

    Unfuckingbelievable.

  23. StaunchWoman, I guess it’s the same reason people can go on and on about the atrocities in India (and they are atrocities), but ignore what we’re doing in terms of torture and who knows what in Iraq.

    No moral high ground here.

  24. cold here warming up the car…burrr!

  25. That was “makes” – don’t get any freudian ideas from my typo

  26. Dr. Violet Socks, has an interesting post up which coincides with a couple of our recent “religion” threads.

“Sorry, I got swallowed by a whale”

  27. Cold and promises of colder here (PA). Only 3 1/2 months until Spring!

  28. I can’t stand Sylvia Poggioli. When I used to listen to NPR, I would change the channel when she came on. I hate her overdone Italian accent. It shouldn’t take her five seconds to pronounce her first name. Ok, I’m being nasty but my coffee is still perking so I’m not my normal sweet self.

  29. Purplefinn – There is nothing at Dr. Violet Socks,

    Here you go staunchwoman

  30. Good morning Conflucians! cold here too (NYC) but clear, sunny, cloudless, bright skies; if you must have winter, this is as good as it gets. Don’t have anything inciteful or witty to say just everyone have a wonderful day!

  31. Thanks, Joanelle, for posting that link. I guess I need to go to google, too, to find out how to do the advanced posting stuff….

  32. Joanelle, the link works for me, if that’s what you meant.

  33. purplefinn, thanks for the link. A delightful read!

  34. gxm17, Happy Birthday!
